IMPORTANT NOTES
Our tour program is organized with a minimum participation requirement of 40 people. If sufficient participation for the trip is not achieved, the final cancellation notification date by the agency is 21 days before the tour departure. The tour canceled due to insufficient participation will be notified to you through your agency.
In cases where only category information is provided without specifying a name in the tour program and/or there are options for the same destination, the hotel(s) will be notified by your agency 48 hours before the tour departure.
During periods such as fairs, congresses, concerts, events, sports tournaments, etc., hotels may be used at distances greater than the specified km or in a different city. In such a case, you will be informed by your agency 48 hours before the tour departure.
The panoramic city tours included in the tour package are tours organized for the general introduction of cities and last a maximum of 2-3 hours, including only a panoramic view with guide commentary from inside the vehicle, without museum or site entrance fees. Lidya Tour is not responsible if the panoramic tours and other tours specified in the program, including those scheduled on the relevant day and time, cannot be carried out because local authorities do not permit visiting or entry, or due to any event, closed roads, or when weather conditions make the tour impossible. Some tours may be conducted by public transport or on foot where roads are closed or vehicle access is not permitted, insofar as possible.
Triple rooms may be provided depending on hotel availability, and the bed allocated to the 3rd person in such rooms is smaller than standard beds. Triple rooms consist of 1 large bed + 1 extra bed. Since extra beds are foldable/open-close or coach beds, the tour participant, in 3rd person and/or child reservations, is deemed to have accepted the possible crowding in the rooms and the bed type. Child discounts apply only to a single child in the applicable age group staying with 2 adults. No bed guarantee is given in hotels for children aged 0-2.
Breakfasts included in the tour program are served in accordance with the breakfast culture of the country visited and are generally offered as a limited menu, referred to as continental breakfast, consisting of butter, jam, bread, tea, or coffee, and may be served in a separate hall allocated to the group for groups.
Since the tour flights are group tickets, flight times may change. You can confirm the current flight details with your agency. Updated times will be communicated by your agency with the tour information.
Before purchasing a domestic flight, the tour flight times must be confirmed. If the guest purchased the domestic connection flight from a different product provider independent of the agency, they cannot request any refund from the agency in case the trip is canceled by the agency or if there is a schedule change. The guest accepts in advance any financial or moral losses that may arise due to the cancellation or change of the tour when purchasing the tour. Lidya Tour cannot be held responsible for this situation.
Due to airline rules; if the outbound flight of a round-trip ticket is not used, the return flight is canceled by the airline.
Guests included in the tour without airfare must be present at the tour starting point on their own and without any delay. Otherwise, they will have to arrange all their transfers on their own.
Lidya Tour is not responsible if guests who do not arrive at the specified airport at the notified times in accordance with airline rules, who do not complete check-in and boarding procedures on time, or who complete check-in and boarding on time but cannot board the plane, are unable to take the flight. Any expenses for obtaining new round-trip tickets necessary for the participation of guests who miss the flight in the tour, as well as transfers in the destination area, etc., are their own responsibility.
The personal belongings, bags, suitcases, passports/IDs of participants in the tour are under their own responsibility, and Lidya Tour is not responsible for forgotten/lost/stolen items. In cases where forgotten items are found, there is no obligation to deliver them to the country and/or the person, and the costs incurred during delivery are borne by the owner of the item.
In cases such as illness, loss, or theft, the guide cannot accompany guests one-to-one in such negative situations, as the integrity and continuity of the group is essential for the guide.
When purchasing the tour, it is mandatory to correctly provide the name, date of birth, and passport number as stated in the passport. Airline tickets are issued based on this information. Cancellation and change penalty fees arising from incorrect information will be charged to you.
In some airlines, food and beverage services and online check-in may be subject to fees.
During the tour, seat numbers on the bus cannot be guaranteed.
During our tours, the times announced by our guide to the guests are departure times, the time the vehicle wheels start turning. Our guide, who is responsible for equally considering the rights of all our guests, will set the vehicle in motion without waiting at the meeting times. In a possible situation, a guest who is late must arrange their own transportation to the next stop.
Extra tours are organized by the local agency we work with, with a minimum participation requirement of 20 people. If the required number is not achieved, the tours may not take place, or extra tour prices, content, and the vehicle used may vary depending on the number of participants. In addition, the days and times of the tours may be changed by the guide according to the opening/closing status of the museums and sites at the destination and weather conditions. A different guide may accompany our guests during extra tours.
In our classic packages where extra tours are not included, extra tours are optional at the participant's request and are not mandatory. Passengers who do not wish to participate in the extra tours organized during the tour are deemed to have accepted waiting at a suitable rest area on the route. These passengers will be dropped off at the roadside rest area before the extra tour starts and picked up from the point where they were dropped off after the tour is completed.
The participant accepts in advance that they will join the tours to be organized as stated in the tour program, will not disrupt the program, and accordingly will separately pay the amount previously announced in the tour program during the trip to the tour official for expenses related to the local guide, museum & site entrance fees, city taxes, and, if any, audio systems with headphones. The participant has been fully and completely informed about this matter.
In programs where extra tours are included, it is mandatory to pay the museum & site entrance fees to your agency at the time of booking or to the guide during the tour.
Lidya Tour is an intermediary institution between the airline and the passenger and is subject to the Hague Protocol of 28.09.1955. On scheduled and private flights, there may be a risk of delay, or times may change before the current trip and flight. Lidya Tour is obliged to notify these changes as soon as possible. Our passengers have purchased the tour knowing and accepting that flight details may change.
Extra tours are optional at the participant's request and are not mandatory. Guests who do not wish to join the extra tours organized during the tour are deemed to have accepted waiting at a suitable place along the route (rest area, etc.). These guests will be dropped off before the extra tour starts and picked up from the point where they were dropped off after the tour is completed. They cannot use the tour bus for transfer, and any personal expenses they incur while waiting are their own.
VISA
There is a visa requirement for Turkish Republic citizens. For a visa application, it is necessary to apply with a passport valid for at least 6 months from the end date of travel and with the documents specified in the “Required Documents for Visa” list.
There is no visa requirement for green passport holders; a passport valid for at least 6 months from the end date of travel is sufficient.
The visa information stated in the program is the information applicable to citizens of the Republic of Turkey. Guests holding a passport other than a Republic of Turkey passport must obtain their visa information from the relevant consulates.
Having obtained a visa does not mean that entry into the country is guaranteed; the passport police have the authority to refuse you entry. Lidya Tour is not responsible for this situation; responsibility belongs to the passenger.
In order to avoid problems with customs police at the border gate of the country to be visited due to passports that are torn, worn, wet, and/or damaged in a similar way, the passport must be renewed, and if the country applies a visa requirement to Turkish citizens, the relevant visa must be in the new passport. Otherwise, responsibility belongs to the passenger.
For our guests under 18 traveling alone or with only one of their mother or father, since the police officer at the country entry-exit may request a document showing the joint consent of the parents, we recommend that our guests under 18 and their parents be sensitive about this matter.
