Need to Know
  • For this tour, a passport valid for 6 months covering the minimum tour duration is required.
  • LİDYA TOUR acts as an intermediary between the airline and the passenger and is subject to the 28.09.1955 Hague Protocol.
  • During registration, the name as shown in the passport, date of birth, and passport number must be entered into the system. Airline tickets are issued according to this information. No-show fees resulting from the cancellation or alteration of airline tickets due to incorrect information will be charged to the guests.
  • The city where the aircraft lands may vary. LİDYA TOUR cannot be held responsible for schedule changes that may be made by airlines or for possible delays.
  • Airline rules apply to group tickets, and under the group ticket rule, if the outbound flight is not used, the return flight cannot be used either.
  • For most flights departing from Turkey, the baggage allowance is 20Kg’s. This allowance may vary depending on the airline and the destination country. This allowance may decrease to 15 Kg’s on domestic flights in the countries visited. Excess baggage weight/price rules are determined by the airlines and are not the responsibility of LİDYA TOUR.
  • If the number of participants joining the package tour is insufficient, the tour cancellation will be notified to the consumer 20 days in advance.
  • The tour route specified in the tour program is an example route, and changes may be made to the tour itinerary. City sightseeing tours may be conducted on the following day/day(s), depending on the arrival time in the city. The excursions specified in the programs may, at the guide’s discretion and for any reason, be conducted on another day other than the specified day/day(s).

Tour Program
Day 1 Ankara – Düsseldorf – Amsterdam

Meeting in front of the SunExpress Airlines counter at the Ankara Airport International Departures terminal 3 hours before the flight. Following baggage, ticket and passport procedures, departure for Düsseldorf at 06.25 on SunExpress Airlines’ flight XQ794. After our arrival at 08.25 local time, departure for Amsterdam by our vehicle waiting in the area. Upon our arrival, our Amsterdam city tour begins. During our city tour in Amsterdam, Dam Square, Central Station, the National Monument, the Royal Palace, the Flower Market and the Red Light District are among the sights to be seen. Following our tour, transfer to our hotel. Overnight in Amsterdam or the surrounding area.

Day 2 Amsterdam – Zaanse Schans – Marken – Volendam – Giethoorn – Amsterdam

After having breakfast at the hotel, guests who wish may join the Magnificent Fairytale Villages and Waterways (Zaanse Schans & Marken & Volendam & Giethoorn Hobbit Village) tour, which will be organized as an extra. (110 Euros) Our tour begins in the town of Zaanse Schans. One of the Netherlands’ hidden paradise towns, Zaanse Schans is famous for its old historic windmills dating back to the 17th century and still in operation, as well as its untouched nature. In the Dutch town of Zaanse Schans, with its historic windmills and wooden houses, you will feel as though you are visiting an open-air museum, with beauty unparalleled anywhere in the world. The second stop on our tour is Marken. After exploring the interior of this wonderful island, which was once an island but was later connected to the mainland by filling in the area between them, we depart for Volendam. Volendam is a place that impresses people as soon as they see it, with its harbor, characteristic Dutch houses, and people wearing traditional clothing. After spending some pleasant time in this town, where you can taste delicious seafood and cheeses and buy inexpensive souvenirs, our final stop is Giethoorn Hobbit Village. Considered one of the few most beautiful places in the world, Giethoorn is one of Europe’s most fairytale-like destinations. Deriving its popularity from the 1958 film “Fanfare,” which was filmed here, Giethoorn has become increasingly famous since the film and welcomes more than 800,000 tourists annually. Day 3 Amsterdam – Bruges – Ghent – Brussels

Following breakfast at the hotel, we depart for Brussels. Along the way, our guests who wish may join the Magnificent Cities Bruges & Ghent tour, which will be organized as an optional extra. (90 Euros) Our first stop on the tour is Bruges, famous for its magnificent beauty. Today, Bruges is one of the leading cities in Europe attracting the most tourists, and it was placed under UNESCO protection in 1991. With its medieval architecture, canals, narrow streets, bridges, historic buildings and squares, it has succeeded in becoming one of Europe’s most cherished cities. After exploring this beautiful city, we travel to Ghent, another city where time seems to have stood still. With a history spanning 1,400 years, Ghent was established where the Scheldt and Lys rivers meet and was one of the largest and wealthiest cities of the Middle Ages. After our tour of this city, famous for its medieval monuments and university, we depart for Brussels. One of the most remarkable stops on Benelux tours, Brussels stands out for its versatility. Thanks to its cosmopolitan character, the city offers travelers many different opportunities, and we will visit several valuable landmarks. Upon our arrival, the places we will see include the Royal Palace, the Chinese and Japanese houses, Brussels Cathedral, the city square, the Stock Exchange building, the Atomium monument and the Manneken Pis statue. Following our tour, we transfer to our hotel and have free time. Overnight at a hotel in Brussels or the surrounding area.

Day 4 Brussels – Paris

After having breakfast at the hotel, we depart for Paris, one of the most romantic cities in the world. Upon our arrival in Paris, the places we will see include Charles de Gaulle Square and the Arc de Triomphe, Champs Elysees, the Louvre Museum and Pyramid, Place de l’Etoile, the Grand Palais and Petit Palais exhibition palaces, Place de la Concorde and the Obelisk, the French Parliament Building, Pont Alexandre III, the Seine River, Napoleon’s Tomb, and the Eiffel Tower. After our tour, transfer to our hotel and free time. In the evening, guests who wish may join the optional Paris Under Magnificent Lights tour. (35 Euros) The city of Paris is beautiful during the day and at night in different ways. On this tour, you will have the opportunity to see Champs Elysees, Place de la Concorde, the Louvre Museum, and many other boulevards, buildings, and squares under the lights. After our tour, transfer to our hotel. Overnight at a hotel in or around Paris.

Day 5 Paris

After breakfast at the hotel, guests who wish may join the optional Magnificent Paris Masterpieces & Seine River Boat Tour (Eiffel Tower & Seine River Cruise & Montmartre Painters’ Hill & Sacre Coeur Basilica & Notre Dame Cathedral). (110 Euros) Our first stop on the tour is the Eiffel Tower, the city’s iconic landmark visited by millions of tourists every year. You will have the chance to go up to the second floor of the Eiffel Tower and see Paris from above. We then take a boat tour on the Seine River, which divides Paris in two. After seeing the historic monuments on both banks of the river during the boat tour, we take a cable car up Montmartre Hill, the highest point in Paris. On this hill, which bears the traces of important artists such as Pablo Picasso, Henry Toulouse Lautrec, Dalida, Vincent Van Gogh and Jean Marais, Sacre Coeur (Church of the Vows) will be the first place we visit. After seeing this structure up close, we take a break at Place du Tertre, where you can shop and have your portrait drawn, and then visit Notre Dame Cathedral, described as both a symbol of French history and an indispensable part of Paris’ skyline. Notre Dame Cathedral was built by order of King Louis VII, who ruled between 1137 – 1180, to demonstrate Paris’ political, economic and cultural power to the world. After seeing this magnificent structure, we take a short photo break. We then transfer to our hotel. Overnight at the hotel. Overnight at a hotel in Paris or the surrounding area.

Day 6 Paris – Reims – Metz

After the breakfast we will have at the hotel, we set off towards Reims, another beautiful city in France. Reims is the ancient capital of the Gallic people, and its name comes from Remes, dating back to that period. During this magnificent tour in Reims, the most important and largest city in the Champagne region, which has witnessed the coronation ceremonies of many French kings with its history dating back to the Roman Empire and its unique Gothic architecture, the Reims Cathedral, added to the UNESCO World Heritage List in 1991, the Palace of Tau, the Basilica of Saint Remi and La Porte de Mars are among the places to be visited. Following our tour, we set off towards Metz. Metz is a fascinating city located in France’s Lorraine region, between Nancy and Luxembourg. Ranked 4th in the “European Best Destinations” competition held in 2019, Metz is included on the UNESCO World Heritage Tentative List with its historical, cultural and architectural features. Following our tour here, transfer to our hotel. Overnight in Metz or the surrounding area. 

Day 7 Metz – Luxembourg

After having breakfast at the hotel, we set off for Luxembourg. Upon arrival, our Luxembourg city tour begins. Notre Dame Cathedral, the Ducal Palace, the City Hall and Constitution Square are among the places to be seen. Following our tour, guests who wish may join the optional Glorious History and Mosaics (Trier & Remich & Schengen) tour. (65 Euros) Our first stop on the tour will be Trier, founded by the Romans in 15 BC and known as the oldest city in Germany. Located in the Moselle Wine Region, among low red sandstone hills covered with vines along the Moselle River, one of the tributaries of the Rhine, Trier will offer us a city tour featuring Porta Nigra, the largest surviving Roman city gate north of the Alps; Roman ruins included in the UNESCO World Heritage Site; St. Peter’s Cathedral and the Church of Our Lady; the Basilica of Constantine; and the house where Karl Marx, the revolutionary thinker and father of scientific socialism, was born. After our visit to Trier, we head to the town of Remich, a tax haven and the cheapest shopping destination during our tour. Due to Luxembourg’s low-tax policies and its border location, you can purchase products such as chocolate, coffee and alcoholic beverages here at very low prices. Finally, we visit Schengen, where the borders of Germany, France and Luxembourg meet and where the agreement abolishing passport controls between European Union member states and establishing free movement was signed. In this village, one of Europe’s important wine regions, you will have the opportunity to taste local wines and see the Monument and building where the Schengen Agreement was signed. Day 8: Luxembourg – Cologne – Düsseldorf – Ankara

Following breakfast at the hotel, departure for Cologne. Cologne is one of Germany’s most important transportation, cultural, scientific, artistic and commercial centers. During our city tour here, the Gothic Cathedral, the Rhine River and the shopping streets are among the sights to be seen. Following our tour, during the city tour we will take in Düsseldorf, one of Germany’s most important cultural, artistic and industrial cities, the rotating restaurant Rheinturm, Schloss Benrath, where Germany’s most important thinkers were educated, the shopping street Königsallee and Horfgarten, with its lush green spaces, are among the sights to be seen. Following our tour, transfer to Düsseldorf Airport. After the baggage, ticket and passport procedures, departure for Ankara Airport at 19.10 on SunExpress Airlines flight XQ 795. Arrival at 00.40 local time and the end of our tour.
