GENERAL TERMS
1- The General Terms are an integral part of the tour program and cannot be considered independently of the tour program.
2- If sufficient participation is not achieved for the tour; Lidya Tour may cancel the tour up to 21 days before the departure date. In such a case, the cancellation notice is communicated to the guest. The full tour price is refunded to the guest. In the refund of additional services purchased outside the tour; the domestic connecting flight ticket purchased from Lidya Tour is also refunded to the guest, and if a visa application has been made on behalf of the guest using visa service and travel health insurance, these services cannot be refunded to the guest as they will have been used. If no visa application has been made, the visa and travel health insurance are also cancelled and the fee is refunded. If the guest purchased the domestic connecting flight from a different product provider independent of Lidya Tour, in the event that the trip is cancelled by Lidya Tour, the guest cannot claim any refund from Lidya Tour. The guest accepts in advance, at the time of purchasing the tour, any material and moral losses that may arise due to the cancellation of the tour, and Lidya Tour cannot be held responsible.
3- If sufficient participation is not achieved for the tour, Lidya Tour has the right, in good faith, not to cancel the tour. In this case, since the tour will be provided individually for the guest, the guiding service included in the package will only cover the overseas round-trip airport transfer.
Cancellation and Changes
4- On our tours, tickets for transportation are issued at the time of reservation. For cancellations made more than 30 days before the tour departure date, the non-refundable flight ticket costs, which do not have a cancellation, change, or refund right, will be charged as a penalty.
5- Our guests have the right to cancel without penalty, provided that they notify Lidya Tour in writing up to 30 days before the tour departure date, except for plane tickets that have been paid to and/or committed to the airline by Lidya Tour. If less than 31 days remain until the trip start date, they may cancel by paying a penalty equal to 50% of the remaining tour fee after the plane ticket cost. If 15 days or less remain until the trip start date, they may cancel by paying the full tour fee as a penalty. In the event of a cancellation request, since the cancellation/refund conditions for additional services such as domestic connections, visa services, and travel health insurance may vary depending on the period for which the cancellation is requested, advance information should be sought regarding the refund. Lidya Tour cannot make any commitment regarding the cancellation/refund of additional services.
Guiding Services and Optional Tours
6- The days and times of the tours specified in the program may be changed by the guide according to the opening/closing status of museums and historical sites at the destinations and weather conditions. Different guides may accompany our guests during the tours.
7- Panoramic city tours included in the tour package are tours lasting at most 2-3 hours, organized for the general introduction of the cities, conducted panoramically from inside the vehicle with guide commentary, and do not include museum or historical site admissions. Panoramic tours, including other tours specified in the program, if they cannot be carried out because local authorities do not permit visits or entry on the corresponding day and time, or due to closed roads because of any event, and likewise in cases where the tour becomes impossible due to weather conditions, Lidya Tour is not responsible for the inability to conduct the aforementioned tours. Some tours may, where possible, be conducted by public transportation or on foot in areas with closed roads or where vehicle access is not permitted.
8- Our guide may make changes to the days of the city tour and/or additional tours, depending on the content of our tours, the number of participants, and whether museums and historical sites are closed. This also applies in the event of possible changes in flight times.
9- If participation is not provided for the tour or meal services specified in the services included in the price, there is no refund.
About Flights
10- Lidya Tour is an intermediary institution between the airline and the passenger; in possible disputes, the relevant provisions of Turkish legislation, as well as the Hague Protocol and the Warsaw Convention, shall apply.
11- On scheduled and special flights, delays or changes in flight times may occur. Lidya Tour is obliged to notify these changes as soon as possible. The passenger has purchased the trip accepting the risk of changes/cancellation in the flight time.
12- Children aged 0-2 pay only the airport tax fee.
13- Pursuant to airline rules; if the outbound flight of round-trip tickets purchased as a return trip is not used, the return flight is cancelled by the airline.
14- For persons participating in tours with flights, the check-in and boarding procedures to be carried out are personal procedures, and these procedures must be completed by the guest before the flight at the airports, from the relevant airline counters, or online through the airlines' websites.
15- Last-minute delays and gate changes that may occur on flights are announced verbally at airports and displayed on information boards in the area. This information should be followed personally by the guests.
16- Lidya Tour is not responsible for guests who do not arrive at the specified airport at the times announced in accordance with airline rules for participation in the tour, do not complete check-in and boarding procedures on time, or who complete check-in and boarding on time but do not board the plane, in the event that they cannot make the flight. All expenses arising from matters such as securing new round-trip plane tickets needed for guests who miss the plane to join the tour, and transfers in the destination area, etc., shall be borne by them.
17- In general, the luggage weight for flights departing from Turkey is 20 kg. This weight may vary depending on the airline and the destination country. If there are domestic flights in the destination country, the luggage weight on these domestic flights may be reduced to 15 kg. Excess baggage weight/price rules are determined by the airlines and are not the responsibility of Lidya Tour.
18- For our guests who wish to upgrade their plane tickets with miles (to business or first class); upgrade transactions may be carried out after the tickets are issued, depending on the airline's availability (check the airline with which you have membership). No mileage guarantee is given for each flight. Please check whether the program's tickets are in an upgradable class.
19- In some airlines, food and beverage services and online check-in services may be subject to additional charges.
Other Matters
20- Lidya Tour will not accept responsibility for any change or cancellation made by the guest by contacting the hotel directly. In this case, Lidya Tour's cancellation conditions shall apply.
21- In cases where the hotel(s) in the tour program are provided only with category information without specifying names and/or are offered as alternatives for the same destination, the guest will be informed by Lidya Tour 48 hours before departure.
22- During special periods such as fairs, congresses, concerts, events, sports tournaments, etc., hotels may be used at distances farther than the specified locations or kilometers. In such a case, information will be provided by Lidya Tour 15 days before the tour departure date.
23- At the time of registration for the purchased tour; the name on the passport, date of birth, and passport number must be entered/reported correctly into the system by the guest. Plane tickets are issued according to this information. The penalty for cancellations or changes to plane tickets arising from incorrect information will be charged to the guests.
24- To be able to use your mobile phones abroad, before leaving Turkey, please check whether your phone is enabled for international use by contacting the company to which your line belongs.
25- The hotel check-in time for accommodation is 15:00, and check-out time is 12:00.
26- Requests related to the room (high floor, close to common areas, smoking/non-smoking, bed type) are communicated to the hotel by Lidya Tour. The allocated rooms are chosen in accordance with the guest's preferences depending on the hotel's availability. The fulfillment of these requests depends on availability at the time of check-in and cannot be guaranteed by Lidya Tour.
27- The breakfast offered in hotels differs from the rich breakfast commonly known in Turkish cuisine. It is generally served as continental breakfast, consisting of limited options such as butter, jam, bread, tea, or coffee, and may be served in a separate hall allocated to the group.
28- In some cases, there may be a double bed instead of twin beds. Most European hotels offer rooms with 2 beds that can be joined when necessary.
29- The child and extra bed policy may vary from hotel to hotel, according to room types.
30- Any extra bed and baby cot are provided upon request and subject to the hotel's availability, and must be approved by the hotel.
31- The capacity for an extra bed or baby cot in the room is 1 (maximum).
32- There is an extra bed application in 3-person rooms; in such rooms, the bed allocated to the 3rd person is smaller than standard beds. 3-person rooms consist of 1 large bed + 1 extra bed. Extra beds are beds known as folding and coach beds. Our guests are deemed to have declared that they accept the crowding that may occur in the rooms due to the extra beds to be added to the standard room in 3-person room and/or child bookings, as well as the bed type.
33- If the number and ages of children staying with adults, as stated in hotel reservations, are incorrectly declared by our guests, the relevant hotels may charge an additional fee. In such a case, responsibility belongs to the guest who made the incorrect declaration. The hotel may request identification to determine the ages of children.
34- In reservations of 2 adults + 1 child, there may not be a separate bed for the child. Child prices are valid only if the child stays with two adults. Child discounts apply only to the “single child” who falls within the age group staying with 2 adults.
35- Exchange rate changes during the day are reflected in TL prices. The rates valid at the time of payment apply. Your additional requests, some extra services you receive at the hotel (minibar, ironing, etc.) are subject to extra charges by the hotel. These expenses are not included in the price at the time of purchase and are paid directly to the hotel during your stay.
36- Some countries have different practices regarding city, tourism, or local taxes. All such city, tourism, or other taxes in this manner are collected by the hotel from the guest upon entry or exit.
37- The road distances given in the programs are map-based. Travel times may be extended in cases such as traffic, weather conditions, the geographical location of the destination country, road works, and road conditions.
38- Lidya Tour may, in mandatory cases or when deemed necessary, change the order of the cities in the program and the main airline to be flown without altering the content of the program.
39- The personal belongings, bags, suitcases, passports/identities of the persons participating in the tour are under their own responsibility, and Lidya Tour is not responsible for forgotten/lost/stolen items. In cases where forgotten items are found, the costs incurred in delivering them to the country and/or person are borne by the owner of the item.
40- It is mandatory for persons participating in the tour to have their travel health insurance policies and, if they have any health problems, the relevant medicines and reports with them.
For possible extra expenses, upon hotel check-in, a photo ID/passport issued by official authorities and a credit card or cash deposit may be requested by the hotel. The refund of the deposit requested at check-out is a transaction between the hotel and the guest, and Lidya Tour has no intervention in it.

After meeting with our guests at the specified departure points in the evening, we begin our night journey. Upon arrival at the İpsala Border Gate, we complete customs and passport procedures and then enter Greece.
After our breakfast break near Kavala early in the morning, we arrive in Thessaloniki. In our panoramic city tour by bus, after seeing the White Tower, the statue of Alexander the Great, the Rotunda, the fairgrounds, the Ottoman Bath, the Hamza Bey Mosque, the Bezesteni, the Church of Saint Demetrius, and the house where Atatürk, the great leader and founder of the Republic of Turkey, was born and lived, we set off toward North Macedonia. First, we arrive in the city of Bitola (Monastir). On our panoramic city tour in Bitola, we see the New Mosque, the Covered Bazaar, the Ishak Paša Mosque, and the Clock Tower. Then we take a walk in the Bitola bazaar, called Širok Street, and see the military high school where Atatürk, the great leader and founder of the Republic of Turkey, studied. After our tour, along our route we will panoramic view the palace of Resneli Niyazi in Resen, one of the three most famous figures of the Committee of Union and Progress and renowned for his contributions in the Greco-Turkish War, and then head to Ohrid. Upon our arrival in Ohrid, we begin our city tour of Ohrid. Ohrid Mosque, Ohrid Bazaar, Old Ottoman Houses, and the Church of Saint Sophia are among the places to be seen. Guests who wish may join the extra Ohrid Lake boat tour (20 €) . After our tour, we go to the hotel. In the evening, guests who wish may join the extra, dinner- and music-inclusive Macedonian Night tour (45 €) . After dinner, we return to our hotel. Accommodation at our hotel in Ohrid.
After breakfast at our hotel in the morning, we will have free time. Guests who wish may join the extra Sv. Naum tour (30 €). On this tour, we will visit Sv. Naum Monastery and take a boat tour at the spring where Lake Ohrid originates. After the tour, we set off for Tirana, the capital of Albania. Upon our arrival in Tirana, we will take a panoramic tour introducing this beautiful city, which was developed by Suleyman Pasha in 1614 and became the capital of Albania in 1920. During our tour, some of the places we will see are the Et'hem Bey Mosque, the historic Clock Tower, the National Museum, the Opera and Ballet Building, the Parliament and Prime Ministry Buildings, the Presidential Palace, and Skanderbeg Square. After the tour, we head to Shkodra and go to our hotel for accommodation. Overnight stay at our hotel in Shkodra.
After our breakfast at the hotel in the morning, we head to Budva. We stop for a photo break from where you can see the magnificent Sv. Stefan Island from above, which was once a settlement area for fishermen, then expropriated and later sold to a Singaporean multimillionaire and developed for tourism. After the break, we continue toward Budva, one of the most famous holiday resorts in the Balkans, with its magnificent beaches and vibrant nightlife. On the panoramic city tour we will take here, we will see Stari Grad (the old town center) and the fortress. Then, passing through exceptionally scenic roads along the Adriatic Coast, we arrive in Kotor, located inside Kotor Bay. In Kotor, some of the places we will see are the Old Town, the Churches of Saint Tryphon and Saint Nicholas, and the historic Clock Tower. After the tour, we enter Croatia and arrive in Dubrovnik. During the Dubrovnik tour, we walk through the old town square, which has been included in the UNESCO World Heritage List. The Franciscan Monastery, which also houses the world's oldest pharmacy, the Rector's Palace, and the city gates are among the places to be seen. After the tour, we go to our hotel. Accommodation is at our hotel in Trebinje. (During busy periods, the accommodation location may change to Medjugorje).
After breakfast at our hotel in the morning, we head towards Mostar. Along the way, we visit Počitelj, preserved with its historical texture and known as the Turkish Village, and see the houses built by the Ottomans in the 16th century. After the Počitelj visit, our guests who wish can join the Blagaj Dervish Lodge tour (20 €), which we will arrange as an extra. After visiting this dervish lodge, built right on the banks of the source of the Buna River, we continue to Mostar. Upon our arrival, among the places we will see on the Mostar city tour is the Mostar Bridge, built in 1557 by Mimar Hayreddin, a masterpiece of Ottoman architecture. The bridge had been destroyed by Croatian artillery in the war that took place in 1992, but with major contributions from the Republic of Turkey, it was reopened in 2004. After the Mostar Bridge, we will see the Koski Mehmed Pasha Mosque. After the tour, we head to Sarajevo, the capital of Bosnia and Herzegovina. On our panoramic city tour of Sarajevo after arrival, we will see Baščaršija, the Gazi Husrev-bey Madrasa, the Gazi Husrev-bey Mosque, the Clock Tower, the Catholic Cathedral, Orthodox Churches, the Jewish Synagogue, the Latin Bridge where World War I began, and the eternal flame, then we go to our hotel. Our guests who wish can join the Bosnian Night tour with dinner and live music (55 €), which will be arranged as an extra. Accommodation at our hotel in Sarajevo.
After our breakfast, we depart for Belgrade, the capital of Serbia. Following our arrival in the city, on our Belgrade city tour, one of Europe’s oldest cities and known as the White City, the point where the Sava River joins the Danube River, Belgrade Fortress, the Fortress Square, and the Tomb of Damat Ali Pasha will be among the places to see. After our tour, guests who wish may join the Belgrade Boat Tour, which will be organized as an extra (20 €). On this tour on the Danube and Sava rivers, you will have the opportunity to view the city of Belgrade from the river as well. After the tour, we head to our hotel. Accommodation in Belgrade at our hotel.
After our breakfast, we depart for Skopje and begin our city tour. Bit Bazaar, Sultan Murat Mosque, Isa Bey Mosque, Old Railway Station, Mother Teresa Memorial House, Statue of Alexander the Great, Statue of Philip II, Arch of Triumph, Stone Bridge, Vardar River, Daut Pasha Hammam, Kapan Han, Cifte Hammam, Suli Han, Kursumli Han, and Mustafa Pasha Mosque are among the places to be seen. Our guests who wish may join the Matka Canyon tour organized as an extra (20 Euro). After enjoying a pleasant walk in nature, we head to our hotel. Overnight in Skopje at our hotel.
After our breakfast in the morning, we depart for Sofia, the capital of Bulgaria. Upon arrival, during our city tour; St. Nedelya Church, the Rotunda Church, the Russian Church, St. Sophia Church, Alexander Nevsky Cathedral, the Prime Ministry and Parliament buildings, as well as Sofia University, the National Palace of Culture, and the Banya Bashi Mosque will be among the places to see. After the tour, we depart for Istanbul. Following customs and passport procedures at Kapıkule Border Gate, we enter Turkey and, after the break we will have along the route, arrive in Istanbul at midnight and end our tour.
