DAY 1 ISTANBUL – BERLIN – POZNAN
Meeting with our valued guests in front of the Pegasus Airlines counter at the International Departures Terminal of Sabiha Gökçen Airport. Following the baggage and ticket procedures, we fly to Berlin on a scheduled Pegasus Airlines flight. Upon arrival, we depart for Poznan by our private bus waiting for us at the airport. Upon arrival in Poznan, check-in at our hotel and overnight stay at our hotel.
DAY 2 POZNAN – WARSAW
After breakfast, we begin our Poznan city tour. During our city tour, we will see Poland’s largest greenhouse, “The Palm House,” the Market Square, the City Hall, which best reflects the effects of the Renaissance on the country, St. Maria Magdelana Collegiate Church, one of the most beautiful Baroque buildings in the country, and Freedom Square. Following our tour, we depart for Warsaw. Afterwards, our guests may join the Torun Tour organized by our guide along the route. Torun reflects medieval Gothic architecture and contains monumental churches made entirely of brick, a historic town hall and city walls. Torun, the city where Mikaloj Kopernik, who proved that the world does not lie at the center of the universe, was born and raised, is included on the UNESCO World Heritage List. Following visits to the old town center, Town Hall, and Kopernik’s house, we depart for Warsaw and overnight at our hotel.
DAY 3 WARSAW – KRAKOW
After breakfast, a panoramic Warsaw city tour will be organized. Among the places to be seen are the Royal Castle, the column statue of Zygmunt Waza III, Royal Square, Bell Square, the Barbican, the monumental gate to the city, the Sirena Mermaid monument and Madam Curie’s house. Following our tour, our guests may join the Czestochowa Tour organized along the route. Known as Poland’s open-air museum, Czestochowa is a world-famous city containing the Black Madonna painting and the Pauline monastery of Jasna Gora, home to the Sanctuary of the Virgin Mary. After seeing this holy city, visited by more than approximately 5 million people every year, we depart for Krakow. Transfer to the hotel and room allocation. Overnight at our hotel.
DAY 4 KRAKOW
After breakfast, our panoramic Krakow city tour begins. In this city where Pope John Paul II was elected pope while he was archbishop, we will first see the historic city center, which is included on the UNESCO World Heritage List. In this square, one of the largest squares in Europe and surrounded by countless historic buildings, you will feel as though you are walking through medieval Europe. Afterwards, we will see Wawel Castle and Wawel Cathedral, where Pope John Paul II delivered his first sermon as a priest. Other places to be seen include the Market Square, Cloth Market-Covered Market Sukiennice, St. Mary’s Basilica, Florianska Street, the Barbican, and the Slowacki Theatre. Following the city tour, our guests may join the Wieliczka Salt Mine Tour organized by our guide. The Wieliczka Salt Mine, used as a rock salt mine in the 13th century and where sculptures were created from salt over time, was transformed into an underground city through artistic works and is also included on the UNESCO World Heritage List. Following the excursion, transfer to the hotel. In the evening, our guests who wish to spend the evening enjoying themselves may join the Polish Night with Dinner . We will spend the evening at a local restaurant where local flavors can be tasted accompanied by live music. Following our tour, transfer to the hotel and overnight at our hotel.
DAY 5 KRAKOW – WROCLAW
After breakfast, we depart for Wroclaw. Afterwards, our guests may join the Auschwitz Nazi Camp Tour organized by our guide along the route. We visit the Auschwitz –Birkenau Nazi camp, included on the UNESCO World Heritage List, where approximately 1.5 million Jews were systematically tortured and murdered during the Second World War. Following our tour, arrival in Wroclaw and Wroclaw city tour. During our city tour, we will see the Market Square in the historic center and the City Hall, whose construction began in the 13th century and which is still used today for social and cultural events. Afterwards, we will see Ostrow Tumski, “Cathedral Island,” the oldest part of the city, whose history dates back to the 9th century. Following our tour, transfer to our hotel. Overnight at our hotel .
DAY 6 WROCLAW – BERLIN
After breakfast, we depart for Berlin. Afterwards, our guests may join the Dresden Tour organized by our guide along the route. Following our arrival in Dresden, our city tour begins. Places to be seen include; the Semper Opera House, Theater Square, Frauenkirche, Martin Luther Square and Prague Street. After seeing Dresden, we depart for Berlin. Arrival in Berlin and overnight at our hotel.
DAY 7 BERLIN
After breakfast, Berlin city tour. During our panoramic Berlin city tour, the places to be seen include; Alexanderplatz, Fernsehturm (TV Tower), Rotes Rathaus (Berlin City Hall), Nikolai Square, Berlin Cathedral, Schlossplatz and Unter den Linden Boulevard, Friedrichstraße and Gendarmenmarkt with their two famous cathedrals, remains of the Berlin Wall, Checkpoint Charlie, Brandenburg Gate, Potsdamer Platz and Kurfürstendamm Boulevard. Afterwards, our guests may join the Potsdam Tour organized by our guide. In Potsdam, which is on the UNESCO World Heritage List, places to be seen include Sanssouci Palace, the Obelisk, Brandenburg Gate, Nikolai Church, the Historic Ende Mill, the Russian Colony of Aexandrowka, the French Church, and St. Peter und Paul Church. Following the end of the tour, we depart for our hotel and overnight at our hotel.
DAY 8 BERLIN – ISTANBUL
After breakfast, departure for the airport. Departure for Istanbul on a Pegasus Airlines flight. Arrival at Sabiha Gökçen Airport and the end of our tour.
