DAY 1                 ISTANBUL – BARCELONA

Meet with our valued guests 3 hours before the flight time in front of the Pegasus Airlines counter at the international departures terminal of Sabiha Gökçen Airport. Following the baggage and ticket procedures, fly to Barcelona with a scheduled Pegasus Airlines flight. Upon arrival, take a panoramic city tour of Barcelona. The capital of the Autonomous Community of Catalonia and Spain’s second-largest city, home to the magnificent works of the famous architect Antoni Gaudi, attracts four times its population in tourists thanks to its remarkable landmarks. La Sagrada Familia, also known as the “Unfinished Church,” Spain and Catalunya Squares, Gaudi’s houses (Casa Batllo and Casa Mila), Catalunya Square, La Rambla Street and Port Olimpic are among the places to be seen. Transfer to the hotel after the city tour. In the evening, guests who wish may join the Barcelona by Night & Gothic Quarter Tour (35 Euros), organized by our guide as an extra. . During this tour, we will have the opportunity to see Barcelona, known as Europe’s sleepless city, illuminated at night. Afterwards, we set off for the Gothic Quarter, which we have not visited before. In this quarter, after visiting Barcelona Cathedral, the Temple of Augustus and Carrer del Bisbe, the area’s most famous street, free time for dinner. Then transfer to the hotel. Overnight at our hotel.

 

DAY 2                 BARCELONA

After breakfast, guests who wish may join the Girona & Figueras & Mercat de la Boqueria Tour (95 Euros), organized by our guide as an extra. We begin our tour in Girona, the richest city in the region, established on the banks of the Onyar River and reminiscent of Florence at first glance. Girona, a charming medieval city worth seeing with its narrow streets and cathedral, is also the city where the film Perfume was shot. During our panoramic tour, we will see the Lion statue, Cathedral Square, houses with mezuzahs, the Jewish Quarter, Rambla and its famous shops. After free time, we set off for the city of Figueras, accompanied by views of the Pyrenees Mountains. The town has such an impressive atmosphere that it inspired the boundless painter Salvador Dali, admired by the whole world, throughout his life. Here, we will visit the museum house decorated by the famous surrealist painter “Salvador Dali” with his own hands. After visiting this museum, where each work is valued at millions of dollars and which houses his thought-provoking works depicting his immortal love, Gala, free time. Then we head toward La Rambla Street in the city center. Our next stop is Mercat de la Boqueria, the marketplace located on La Rambla, Barcelona’s most touristy street. Considered Spain’s most famous shopping destination, “mercat,” meaning “market” and “marketplace” in Spanish, is one of the most authentic places where you can experience the country’s shopping culture and observe the habits of the local people. We will have free time here. In the evening, guests who wish to spend the evening in an entertaining atmosphere may join the Flamenco Night (65 Euros), organized as an extra. Overnight at our hotel.

 

DAY 3                 BARCELONA – MADRID

After breakfast at the hotel, we will depart for Madrid by private bus. Along the way, guests who wish may join the Zaragoza Tour (35 Euros), organized by our guide as an extra along the route. The Ebro River, the Pilar Cathedral, the city’s central cathedral, La Seo Cathedral, San Pablo Church, Plaza Espana and Pilar Bridge are among the places to be seen on our tour. After our tour, we continue toward Madrid. We begin our panoramic Madrid city tour with the large square called Plaza Mayor. This square has 136 buildings and 437 balconies opening onto courtyards. In the past, bullfights and people burned by the Inquisition were watched from these balconies. The heart of the city, Puerta del Sol, the large square called Plaza Mayor, Plaza de Oriente, where the Royal Palace addresses the public, the Alcala Gate, built as an entrance gate to demonstrate how wealthy the city was, Gran Via, which impresses with its gallery-lined roofs, Plaza Colon and Cibeles Square and Fountain, and the Cervantes Monument are among the places to be seen. After our tour, we return to the hotel. Overnight at our hotel.

 

DAY 4                 MADRID

After breakfast at the hotel, free time. Guests who wish may join the Toledo Tour (80 Euros), organized as an extra. Toledo is a true open-air museum and the former capital of Spain, and is one of the most important cities on the UNESCO World Heritage List. Its magnificent cathedral, home to works by world-famous painters, has become a rival to the world’s leading museums. Known as the city of El Greco, Toledo has managed to remain unchanged since the 16th century. With structures bearing the traces of Roman, Visigothic, Arab, Gothic and Renaissance architecture, narrow streets, El Greco’s paintings, typical pastry shops, Damascino stores and, of course, its famous cathedral, it is a touristic crossroads. Another tradition in Toledo, dating back to the time when the Arabs conquered the city, is the production of almond paste. A visit to Toledo cannot be considered complete without tasting this mouthwatering confectionery. After our walk through the Jewish Quarter, depart for Madrid. Overnight at our hotel.

 

DAY 5                 MADRID – ISTANBUL   

After breakfast, transfer to Madrid Airport depending on the flight time. Following the completion of the baggage and check-in procedures, depart for Istanbul on a scheduled Pegasus Airlines flight. Arrival in Istanbul and the end of our tour.
