IMPORTANT NOTES

▪ Our tour program is arranged with a minimum participation requirement of 15 people. If sufficient participation is not achieved for the trip, the final cancellation notification date is 20 days before the tour departure. The canceled tour due to insufficient participation will be notified to you through your agency.

▪ In cases where there is not sufficient participation but the tour is operated, English-guided service may be provided.

▪ If only category information is provided without specifying names in the tour program and/or if alternatives are available for the same destination, the hotel(s) will be notified by your agency 48 hours before the tour departure.

▪ During periods such as fairs, congresses, concerts, events, sports tournaments, etc., hotels may be used at distances greater than the stated km or in a different city. In such a case, you will be informed by your agency 48 hours before the tour departure.

▪ Triple rooms may be provided depending on hotel availability, and in such rooms the bed assigned to the 3rd person is smaller than standard beds. Triple rooms consist of 1 large bed + 1 extra bed. Since extra beds are foldable/portable and coach beds, tour participants are deemed to have accepted the possible tightness in the rooms and the bed type for 3rd person and/or child reservations. Child discounts are valid only for one child staying with 2 adults and matching the applicable age group. A bed is not guaranteed for children aged 0–2.

▪ Breakfasts included among the services in the tour program are served at the hotel in accordance with the breakfast culture of the country visited and are generally offered as a limited menu, commonly called a continental breakfast, consisting of butter, jam, bread, tea, or coffee, and may be served for groups in a separate hall allocated to the group.

▪ Panoramic city tours included in the tour package are tours arranged for general introduction of the cities, lasting at most 2-3 hours, conducted panoramically from inside the vehicle with guide commentary, and do not include museum or historical site entrance fees. If panoramic tours, including other tours specified in the program, cannot be carried out because the relevant sites are not permitted to be visited or entered by local authorities on the day and time of the tour, or due to closed roads because of any event, or if weather conditions make the tour impossible, Lidya Tour is not responsible for the inability to conduct the said tours. Some tours may, where possible, be carried out by public transport or on foot at points where roads are closed or vehicle access is not permitted.

▪ Since tour flights are group tickets, flight times may change. You can confirm the current flight details with your agency. Updated times will be communicated by your agency with the tour information.

▪ Tour flight times must be confirmed without purchasing a domestic flight. If the guest purchased the domestic connection flight from a different product provider independent of the agency, they cannot request any refund from the agency in the event the tour is canceled by the agency or if there is a schedule change. The guest accepts in advance any financial and moral losses that may arise from the cancellation/change of the tour when purchasing the tour. Lidya Tour cannot be held responsible for this situation.

▪ According to airline rules, if the outbound flight of a round-trip ticket is not used, the return flight is canceled by the airline.

▪ Guests included in the tour without flights must be present at the tour starting point on their own means and without any delay. Otherwise, they will have to arrange all their transfers on their own.

▪ Lidya Tour is not responsible for guests who do not arrive at the specified airport at the times announced in accordance with airline rules, do not complete check-in and boarding on time, or complete check-in and boarding on time but are unable to board the plane and therefore cannot take the flight. All costs related to obtaining new round-trip tickets required for guests who miss the flight to join the tour and transfers in the destination area, etc., are their responsibility.

▪ The participants' personal belongings, bags, suitcases, passports/ID cards are under their own responsibility, and Lidya Tour is not responsible for forgotten/lost/stolen items. In cases where forgotten items are found, there is no obligation to deliver them to the country and/or person, and the costs incurred during delivery belong to the owner of the item.

▪ In cases such as illness, loss, or theft, since the integrity and continuity of the group is essential for the guide, the guide cannot accompany guests individually in such unfavorable situations.

▪ When purchasing the tour, it is mandatory to correctly provide the name as written in the passport, date of birth, and passport number. Airline tickets are issued based on this information. Penalty fees for cancellation and changes caused by incorrect information will be collected from you.

▪ On some airlines, meals and online check-in services may be subject to a fee.

▪ During the tour, a seat number on the bus cannot be guaranteed.

▪ During our tours, the times announced by our guide to the guests are the departure times, the time the vehicle starts moving. Our guide, who is responsible for considering the rights of all our guests equally, will move the vehicle without waiting at the meeting times. In any possible case, our late guest will have to arrange transportation to the next stop on their own.

▪ Extra tours are arranged by the local agency we receive service from with a minimum participation requirement of 20 people. If the required number is not met, tours cannot be operated, or extra tour prices, content, and the vehicle used may vary depending on the number of participants. In addition, the days and times of the tours may be changed by the guide according to the open/closed status of museums and historical sites at the destinations and weather conditions. A different guide may accompany our guests during extra tours.

▪ In our classic packages where extra tours are not included, extra tours are optional and not mandatory. Passengers who do not wish to join the extra tours organized during the tour are deemed to have accepted waiting at a suitable rest facility along the route. These passengers are dropped off at a roadside rest facility before the extra tour starts and are picked up from the same point after the tour is completed.

▪ In programs where extra tours are included, it is mandatory to pay the museum & historical site entrance fees either to your agency at the time of reservation or to the guide during the tour.

▪ The participant accepts in advance that they will join the tours to be organized as specified in the tour program, will not disrupt the program, and accordingly will additionally pay to the tour representative during the trip the amount previously announced in the tour program for expenses such as local guide, museum & historical site entrance fees, city taxes, and audio system/headphones if any. The participant has been fully and properly informed on this matter.

▪ If only category information is provided and/or alternative information exists for the same destination, you may learn the hotel(s) where you will stay 48 hours before the tour departure.

▪ Lidya Tour acts as an intermediary between the airline and the passenger and is subject to the 28.09.1955 Hague Protocol. On scheduled and special flights, there may be a risk of delay, or times may change before the existing trip and flight. Lidya Tour is obliged to notify these changes as soon as possible. Our passengers have purchased the tour knowing and accepting that flight details may change.

VISA

▪ There is no visa requirement for Turkish Republic citizens. A passport valid for at least 6 months from the end date of travel is sufficient.

▪ Our guests traveling with a Turkish Republic green passport are required to renew their passports if the issuance date of their passport is older than 10 years; otherwise, they may not be admitted to the destination country and/or may not be allowed to fly by the airline. In such a case, the responsibility lies with the passenger.

▪ The passport police have the authority to refuse your entry into the country. Lidya Tour is not responsible for this situation; responsibility belongs to the passenger.

▪ In order to avoid problems with customs police at the border of the country to be visited due to torn, worn, wet, and/or similarly damaged passports, such passports must be renewed, and if the country requires a visa for Turkish Republic citizens, the relevant visa must be in the new passport. Otherwise, responsibility belongs to the passenger.

▪ Since our guests under the age of 18 traveling alone or with only one parent may be asked by the police officer at entry/exit points to present a document showing the mutual consent of the parents, we recommend that our under-18 guests and their parents pay special attention to this matter.
