IMPORTANT NOTES

 Our tour program is arranged with a minimum participation requirement of 40 people. If sufficient participation is not achieved for the trip, the final cancellation notice date by the agency is 21 days before the tour departure. The tour canceled due to insufficient participation will be notified to you through your agency.

 In cases where only category information is provided without specifying a name in the tour program and/or there are options for the same destination, the hotel(s) will be notified by your agency 48 hours before the tour departure.

 During fairs, congresses, concerts, events, sports tournaments, etc., hotels may be used at distances greater than the specified km or in a different city. In such a case, you will be informed by your agency 48 hours before the tour departure.

 Panoramic city tours included in the tour package are tours organized for the general introduction of cities and are panoramic tours lasting at most 2-3 hours, conducted only from inside the vehicle with guide narration, and do not include museum or site entrance fees. Including panoramic tours and other tours specified in the program, if they cannot take place due to local authorities not permitting visits or entry on the day and time corresponding to the tour, or due to closed roads because of any event, or if the tour becomes impossible due to weather conditions, Lidya Tour is not responsible for the non-performance of the said tours. Some tours may, where possible, be carried out by public transportation or on foot in areas with closed roads or where vehicle entry is not permitted.

 Triple rooms may be provided depending on hotel availability, and the bed assigned to the 3rd person in such rooms is smaller than standard beds. Triple rooms consist of 1 large bed + 1 extra bed. Since extra beds are folding and coach beds, the tour participant is deemed to have accepted the congestion that may occur in the rooms and the bed type for 3rd person and/or child reservations. Child discounts are valid for one child only, staying with 2 adults and belonging to the applicable age group. For children aged 0-2, no bed guarantee is provided in hotels.

 Breakfasts included in the tour program are served in accordance with the breakfast culture of the country being visited and are generally offered as a limited menu called continental breakfast, consisting of butter, jam, bread, tea, or coffee, and may be served for groups in a separate hall allocated to the group.

 Since tour flights are group tickets, flight times may change. You can confirm the current flight details with your agency. Updated times will be communicated by your agency together with the tour information.

 Tour flight times must be confirmed before purchasing a domestic flight. If the guest purchased the domestic connecting flight from a different provider independent of the agency, they cannot request any refund from the agency if the trip is canceled by the agency or if there is a schedule change. The guest accepts in advance, when purchasing the tour, any financial and moral losses that may arise due to cancellation or changes. Lidya Tour cannot be held responsible for this situation.

 According to airline rules, if the outbound flight of a round-trip ticket is not used, the return flight is canceled by the airline.

 Our guests included in the tour without flights must be present at the tour starting point on their own means and without any delay. Otherwise, they will have to arrange all their transfers on their own.

 Lidya Tour is not responsible if participants do not show up at the specified airport at the times announced in line with airline rules for participation in the tour, do not complete check-in and boarding procedures on time, or complete them on time but are unable to board the plane and therefore cannot take the flight. All expenses related to obtaining new round-trip tickets required for guests who miss the plane to join the tour and transfers in the destination region, etc., are their responsibility.

 The personal belongings, bags, suitcases, passports/IDs of participants are their own responsibility, and Lidya Tour is not responsible for forgotten/lost/stolen items. In cases where forgotten items are found, there is no obligation to deliver them to the country and/or the person; the expenses incurred during delivery belong to the owner of the item.

 In cases such as illness, loss, or theft, the guide cannot accompany guests individually in such negative situations because the integrity and continuity of the group are essential for the guide.

 During the purchase of the tour, it is mandatory to provide the name on the passport, date of birth, and passport number correctly. Airline tickets are issued based on this information. Cancellation and change penalties arising from incorrect information will be collected from you.

 On some airlines, food and beverage services and online check-in may be subject to a fee.

 During the tour, seat numbers on the bus cannot be guaranteed.

 During our tours, the times announced to guests by our guide are the departure times, the time the vehicle wheels start rolling. Our guide, who is responsible for fairly considering the rights of all our guests, will depart the vehicle without waiting at the meeting times. In such a case, the guest who is late must reach the next stop using their own means.

 The participant agrees in advance to join the tours to be organized as stated in the tour program, not to disrupt the program, and accordingly to pay separately to the tour officer during the trip the amount previously notified in the tour program for expenses such as local guide, museum & site entrance fees, city taxes, and audio system with headphones if any. The participant has been fully and completely informed on this matter.

 Extra tours are organized by the local agency we work with, with a minimum participation requirement of 20 people. If the required number is not reached, the tours cannot be carried out, or extra tour prices, content, and the vehicle to be used may vary depending on the number of participants. In addition, the days and times of the tours may be changed by the guide according to the opening/closing status of the museums and sites at the destinations and weather conditions. Different guides may accompany our guests during extra tours.

 In our classic packages where extra tours are not included, extra tours are optional and not mandatory. Passengers who do not wish to participate in extra tours arranged during the trip are deemed to have accepted waiting at a suitable rest stop along the route. These passengers are dropped off at a roadside rest stop before the extra tour begins and picked up from the same point after the tour is completed.

 In programs where extra tours are included, payment of museum & site entrance fees is mandatory.

 Lidya Tour is an intermediary between the airline and the passenger and is subject to the Hague Protocol of 28.09.1955. There may be a risk of delay on scheduled and special flights, or times may change before the current trip and flight. Lidya Tour is obliged to notify these changes as soon as possible. Our passengers have purchased the tour knowing and accepting that flight details may change.

VISA

 There is no visa requirement for T.C. citizens. For the visa application, a passport valid for at least 6 months from the end of the trip is sufficient.

 For our guests traveling with a T.C. green passport, if their passport was issued more than 10 years ago, they must renew their passport (extension is not accepted). Otherwise, they may not be accepted into the destination country and/or the airline may not operate their flight. In such a case, responsibility belongs to the passenger.

 The visa information specified in the program applies to citizens of the Republic of Turkey. Guests holding a passport other than that of the Republic of Turkey should obtain visa information from the relevant consulates.

 The passport police have the authority to deny your entry into the country. Lidya Tour is not responsible for this situation; responsibility belongs to the passenger.

 In order to avoid problems with customs police at the border crossing of the country to be visited due to passports that are torn, worn, wet, and/or damaged in similar ways, such passports must be renewed, and if the country applies a visa to T.C. citizens, the relevant visa must be in the new passport. Otherwise, responsibility belongs to the passenger.

 Since there is a possibility that police officers at entry and exit points may ask for a document showing the joint consent of the parents when our guests under 18 travel alone or with only one of their parents, we recommend that our guests under 18 and their parents be sensitive on this matter.

Tour Program
Istanbul – Tangier – Chefchaouen – Fes

We meet at Sabiha Gökçen Airport, in the international departures terminal, three hours before the flight (one calendar day before the departure flight date).

After baggage, ticket, and boarding procedures, our flight to Tanja begins on Air Arabia Airlines scheduled service. Upon our arrival at Tanja Airport, we transfer to Şafşavan with our private bus waiting for us at the airport. We continue our journey to the Blue City of Şafşavan, whose fame has long surpassed the borders of Morocco. After our walk through its maze-like azure streets, we will have free time for shopping for our guests who wish to do so. After our tour, we depart for Fes. Then we set off for the Old Capital Fes & Medina Tour. In our Medina tour, which we will take after walking around Bab-el Makhzen, the monumental gate of the royal palace in Fes, and the surrounding Jewish quarter, Mellah, the Attarine Madrasa, Karaouine University, Nejarine Square, the bazaar where jewelry and copper items unique to Morocco are sold, workshops where the finest ceramic craftsmanship in the world is made, and the tannery near the Fes River, where leather is still processed by traditional methods today, are among the places we will see. At the end of the tour, transfer to our hotel in Fes and free time. Dinner and accommodation at our hotel.

 Route: Şafşavan-Fes 200 Km (3 Hours 45 Minutes)

Fes - Marrakech

After breakfast at the hotel, transfer to Marrakech. Upon arrival, during our panoramic city tour, the Koutoubia minaret and Jmaa el Fna, the largest square in Africa, vibrant with street performances, snake charmers, and open-air restaurants, will be among the places we see. Then we set off for our Marrakech Medina & Bahia Palace tour. Today we receive information about argan oil and exotic spices, and visit the Bahia Palace, decorated with the country’s traditional zellige tilework. After our tour, transfer to our Marrakech hotel and free time to rest. Dinner and accommodation at our hotel.

 Route: Fes-Marrakech 534 Km (6 Hours)

Food and drink recommendation of the day: You should try Morocco’s traditional mint tea.

Marrakesh – Essaouira – Marrakesh

After the breakfast we will have at the hotel, depart for our Essaouira & Atlas Ocean tour, following the trail of the Argan Trees. In this region, where Morocco’s argan trees are most abundant, we first visit the Argan Oil Cooperative and receive information about argan oil. Then we arrive in the city of Essaouira, located on the shores of the Atlantic Ocean. A world-famous former Portuguese city that reminds us of old Bodrum. Declared a “World Heritage” site by UNESCO, the city is a fishing harbor on the Atlantic coast, a seaside town where art and culture intertwine; it has also served as the setting for many productions such as Orson Welles’s Othello and, more recently, the widely watched series Game of Thrones. The city’s fortress, fishing harbor, and Medina, built by adapting old Roman cities, are among the places to see. You can explore the city and enjoy pleasant shopping among the narrow, maze-like streets you will never tire of wandering through. After our tour, transfer to your hotel in Marrakech and free time to rest. Dinner and accommodation at our hotel.

 Route: Marrakech – Essaouria 175 km (3 Hours) / Essaouira – Marrakech 175 km (3 Hours)

Marrakesh - Majorelle Garden - Marrakesh

Departure for the Atlas Mountains Berber House & Yves Saint Laurent’s Mysterious Treasure Majorelle Gardens Tour after the breakfast we will have at the hotel. We are carrying out our tour of the Majorelle Garden, one of the most beautiful places in Marrakech. Following our visit to the Majorelle Garden, which was founded by French furniture designer and painter Jaques Majorelle and brought to its current form by the famous fashion designer Yves Saint Laurent, we will depart for our Marrakech hotel. Dinner and accommodation at our hotel.

Food and drink recommendation of the day: You should definitely try the freshly squeezed fruit juices at Jmaa el fna square.

Shopping recommendation: Spices unique to Morocco, herbalist products and straw bags can be purchased.

Marrakesh - Casablanca

After the breakfast we will have at the hotel, we set off for our panoramic Casablanca city tour. Casablanca owes its fame to the famous Hollywood film Casablanca, which depicted the era and is remembered by the line “Play it again, Sam,” and to the city’s hosting of negotiations between the parties during the World War and very intense espionage activities. In Casablanca, now an industrial city with one of Africa’s and the country’s largest ports, the places we will see panoramically include Mohammed V Square, Rick’s Cafe, made inspired by the venue where the film Casablanca was shot, Hassan II Mosque, Anfa and Zerktouni boulevards, two of the most lively streets of the modern city, and the colorful Corniche seaside promenade. Then we set off for the Capital Rabat Tour. Surrounded by eucalyptus and Portuguese cork oak forests, Rabat is located on the banks of the Bou Regreg River. In Rabat, which has been the capital of the country since the exiled king declared his return from this city, we visit Kasbah Oudaya, Hassan Tower, and the Mausoleum of Mohammed V. After our tour, we head to our hotel in Casablanca. Dinner and accommodation at our hotel.

Casablanca - Istanbul

After breakfast at the hotel and check-out from the rooms, we will be transferred to Casablanca Airport at the time indicated by our guide. After baggage, ticket, and boarding procedures, flight to Istanbul on Air Arabia’s scheduled service. With our arrival at Sabiha Gökçen Airport, the end of our tour and services.
