IMPORTANT NOTES
Our tour program is arranged with a minimum participation requirement of 20 people. If sufficient participation is not achieved for the trip, the final cancellation notification date is 21 days before the tour departure. The cancelled tour due to insufficient participation will be communicated to you through your agency.
In cases where there is not enough participation but the tour is still carried out, guidance in English may be provided.
In cases where only category information is given in the tour program without specifying names and/or where there are options for the same destination, the hotel(s) will be announced by your agency 48 hours before the trip departure.
During fairs, congresses, concerts, events, sports tournaments, etc., hotels may be used farther than the specified km distances. In such a case, your agency will inform you 15 days before the tour departure date.
3-person rooms may be provided depending on hotel availability, and the bed assigned to the 3rd person in such rooms is smaller than standard beds. 3-person rooms consist of 1 large bed + 1 extra bed. Since extra beds are foldable and coach beds, the tour participant is deemed to have accepted the possible congestion in the room and the bed type in 3rd person and/or child reservations. Child discounts are valid for a single child staying with 2 adults and matching the relevant age group.
Breakfasts included among the services in the tour program are served at the hotel in accordance with the breakfast culture of the country visited and are generally offered as a limited menu called continental breakfast, consisting of butter, jam, bread, tea, or coffee, and may be served in a separate hall assigned to the group for groups.
Panoramic city tours included in the tour package are tours organized for the general introduction of cities, lasting at most 2-3 hours, conducted panoramically with guide commentary from inside the vehicle and excluding museum and archaeological site entrance fees. Panoramic tours, including the other tours specified in the program, if they cannot be carried out because local authorities do not permit visiting or entering on the day and time corresponding to the tour, or due to closed roads because of any event, or when the tour becomes impossible due to weather conditions, Lidya Tour is not responsible for the inability to carry out such tours. Some tours may be conducted by public transportation or on foot where roads are closed or vehicle access is not permitted, as far as possible.
Since tour flights are group tickets, flight times may change. You can confirm the current flight details with your agency. Updated times will be communicated by your agency together with the tour information.
It is necessary to confirm the tour flight times before purchasing domestic flights. If the guest purchased the domestic connection flight from a different product provider independent of the agency, the guest cannot request any refund from the agency in cases where the trip is cancelled by the agency or if there is a schedule change. The guest accepts in advance any financial and moral losses that may arise due to the cancellation or change of the tour when purchasing the tour. Lidya Tour cannot be held responsible for this situation.
According to airline rules, if the outbound flight of round-trip tickets is not used, the return flight is cancelled by the airline.
Guests included in the tour without airfare must be present at the tour starting point on their own and without any delay. Otherwise, they will have to arrange all transfers on their own.
Lidya Tour is not responsible for guests who do not arrive at the specified airport at the times announced in accordance with airline rules, do not complete check-in and boarding procedures on time, or having completed check-in and boarding on time, still cannot board the plane and therefore cannot complete the flight. All costs arising from securing new round-trip airline tickets and transfers in the destination region, etc., which will be necessary for guests who miss the plane to join the tour, are their responsibility.
The participants’ personal belongings, bags, suitcases, passports/IDs are under their own responsibility, and Lidya Tour is not responsible for forgotten/lost/stolen items. In cases where forgotten items are found, there is no obligation to deliver them to the country and/or person, and the expenses incurred during delivery are borne by the owner of the item.
In cases such as illness or loss/theft, since the integrity and continuity of the group are essential for the guide, the guide cannot accompany guests one-on-one in such negative situations.
When purchasing the tour, it is mandatory to correctly provide the name as shown in the passport, date of birth, and passport number. Airline tickets are issued according to this information. Penalties for ticket cancellation and changes arising from incorrect information will be collected from you.
On some airlines, meals, drinks, and online check-in services may be subject to a fee.
During the tour, a seat number cannot be guaranteed on the bus.
During our tours, the times announced by our guide to the guests are the departure, wheel-turning times of the vehicle. Our guide, who is responsible for equally considering the rights of all guests, will move the vehicle without any waiting at the meeting times. In the event of a possible delay, our guest will have to make their own way to the next stop.
Extra tours are organized by the local agency we work with, subject to a minimum participation of 20 people. If the required number is not reached, the excursions cannot be carried out, or the prices, content, and vehicle used for extra excursions may vary according to the number of participants. In addition, the days and times of the tours may be changed by the guide according to the opening/closing status of museums and archaeological sites in the places to be visited and weather conditions.
Participation in extra tours is optional and not mandatory. Passengers who do not wish to join extra tours organized during the tour are deemed to have accepted waiting at a suitable roadside rest facility. These passengers will be dropped off at a roadside rest facility before the extra tour starts and picked up from the point where they were left after the tour is completed.
If only category information is provided and/or alternative information exists for the same destination, you can learn the hotel(s) where you will stay 48 hours before the trip departure.
Lidya Tour is an intermediary institution between the airline and the passenger and is subject to the Hague Protocol of 28.09.1955. There may be a risk of delay on scheduled and special flights, or times may change before the existing trip and flight. Lidya Tour is obliged to notify these changes as soon as possible. Our passengers have purchased the tour knowing and accepting that flight details may change.
VISA
There is no visa requirement for Turkish Republic citizens. A passport valid for at least 8 months from the end date of travel is sufficient.
Our guests traveling with a Turkish Republic green passport must renew their passport if the issue date is older than 10 years; otherwise, they may not be accepted into the destination country and/or may not be allowed to fly by the airline. In such a case, responsibility lies with the passenger.
The passport police have the authority to refuse your entry into the country. Lidya Tour is not responsible for this situation; responsibility lies with the passenger.
The visa information stated in the program applies to citizens of the Republic of Turkey. Guests who hold a passport other than that of the Republic of Turkey must obtain visa information from the relevant consulates.
In order to avoid problems with customs police at the border crossing of the country to be visited due to passports that are torn, worn, wet, and/or damaged in a similar manner; such passports must be renewed, and if the country applies a visa to Turkish Republic citizens, the relevant visa must be in the new passport. Otherwise, responsibility lies with the passenger.
Since there is a possibility that our guests under 18 traveling alone or with only one parent may be asked by the officer at the country entry/exit to present a document showing the mutual consent of the parents, we recommend that our guests under 18 and their parents pay attention to this matter.
We meet at Istanbul New Airport, at the international departures terminal, three hours before the flight. After baggage, ticket, and boarding procedures, we fly to Bogota on a scheduled Turkish Airlines flight. Upon arrival in Bogota, the capital of Colombia, we proceed to our private bus waiting for us at the airport. Then we depart for our panoramic Bogota city tour. Our first stop will be Bolivar Square, one of Bogota's landmarks. With a magnificent cable car ride, we will reach Urca Hill, the stop between ground level and Sugarloaf. During the short break we will have here, you will have the chance to photograph the magnificent view. When you reach the summit of Sugarloaf Mountain, you will see Rio’s enchanting beauty from a different angle. You will be able to see the far-stretching Copacabana Beach and the faint outlines of the Twin Brothers, Gávea Mountains on the horizon, the interesting and intimate Red Beach, from Guanabara Bay to Niterói, and more nearby Rio’s Botafogo and central neighborhoods. Then we head to Corcovado Hill to see the Christ the Redeemer statue, one of the new 7 wonders of the World. At the end of our journey by train through the Tijuca Forest, we arrive at Corcovado Hill, where the Christ the Redeemer Statue, one of the 7 wonders of the World, is located. Then we take our flight to Sao Paulo.
After baggage, ticket, and boarding procedures at São Paulo airport, our flight to Istanbul begins with Turkish Airlines’ scheduled service. We spend the night on the plane. With our arrival at Istanbul Airport, the tour and our services come to an end.
