The tour canceled due to insufficient participation will be notified to you through your agency.
Where only category information is provided in the tour program without mentioning a hotel name and/or alternatives are available for the same destination, the hotel(s) will be announced by your agency 48 hours before the trip departure.
During trade fairs, congresses, concerts, events, sports tournaments, etc., hotels may be used at a distance greater than the stated km or in a different city. In such a case, you will be informed by your agency 48 hours before the trip departure.
Panoramic city tours included in the tour package are tours organized for the general introduction of the cities, lasting at most 2-3 hours, conducted panoramically with guide commentary only from the vehicle and not including museum or archaeological site entries. For panoramic tours and other tours specified in the program, if they cannot be carried out because local authorities do not allow visits or entry on the day and time of the tour, or due to closed roads because of any event, or if it becomes impossible to conduct the tour due to weather conditions, Lidya Tour is not responsible for the inability to conduct the aforementioned tours. Some tours may be carried out by public transport or on foot where possible at closed roads or points where vehicle access is not permitted.
3-person rooms may be provided depending on the hotels’ availability, and the bed assigned to the 3rd person in such rooms is smaller than standard beds. 3-person rooms consist of 1 large bed + 1 extra bed. Since extra beds are foldable and coach beds, tour participants are deemed to have accepted the possible congestion in the rooms and the bed type for 3rd person and/or child reservations. Child discounts are valid for one child only, sharing a room with 2 adults, and within the applicable age group. For children aged 0-2, no bed is guaranteed in hotels.
Breakfasts included in the tour program are served at the hotel in accordance with the breakfast culture of the country visited, and are generally offered as a limited menu known as continental breakfast, consisting of butter, jam, bread, tea, or coffee, and may be served in a separate hall allocated to the group.
Since tour flights are group tickets, flight times may change. You can confirm the current flight details with your agency. Updated times will be communicated by your agency along with the tour information.
Tour flight times must be confirmed before purchasing a domestic flight. If the guest purchased the domestic connection flight from a different product provider independent of the agency, they cannot request any refund from the agency in the event that the trip is canceled by the agency or if there is a schedule change. The guest accepts in advance any financial and moral losses that may arise due to the cancellation or change of the tour when purchasing the tour. Lidya Tour cannot be held responsible for this situation.
According to airline rules, if the outbound flight of round-trip tickets is not used, the return flight is canceled by the airline.
Our guests joining the tour without a flight must be present at the tour starting point on their own means and without any delay. Otherwise, they will have to arrange all transfers at their own expense.
For participation in the tour, Lidya Tour is not responsible if guests who are not present at the specified airport at the specified times in accordance with airline rules, who do not complete check-in and boarding on time, or who complete check-in and boarding on time but cannot board the plane, are unable to take the flight. All expenses related to obtaining new round-trip tickets necessary for the guests who miss the plane to join the tour, and transfers in the destination region, etc., shall be borne by them.
The personal belongings, bags, suitcases, passports/IDs of the participants in the tour are under their own responsibility, and Lidya Tour is not responsible for forgotten/lost/stolen items. If forgotten items are found, there is no obligation to deliver them to the country and/or the person, and the costs incurred during delivery are borne by the owner of the item.
In cases such as illness, loss, or theft, since the integrity and continuity of the group are essential for the guide, the guide cannot accompany guests individually in such adverse situations.
When purchasing the tour, it is mandatory to provide the name as it appears in the passport, date of birth, and passport number correctly. Airline tickets are issued according to this information. Penalties for ticket cancellation and changes arising from incorrect information will be collected from you.
At some airlines, meals and online check-in services may be subject to a fee.
During the tour, a seat number on the bus cannot be guaranteed.
During our tours, the times announced by our guide to the guests are departure times, the time the vehicle wheels turn. Our guide, who is responsible for equally protecting the rights of all our guests, will move the vehicle without waiting at the meeting times. In such a case, our guest who is late will have to reach the next stop by their own means.
The participant hereby acknowledges in advance that they will join the tours organized and specified in the tour program and will not disrupt the program, and accordingly agrees to pay separately to the tour official during the trip the amount previously stated in the tour program for payments related to expenses such as local guide, museum & archaeological site entries, city taxes, and audio headset systems, if any. The participant has been fully and completely informed on this matter.
Extra tours are organized by the local agency we work with, with a minimum participation requirement of 20 people. If the required number is not reached, the excursions cannot be carried out, or extra excursion prices, content, and the vehicle to be used may vary according to the number of participants. In addition, the days and times of the tours may be changed by the guide according to the opening/closing status of the museums and archaeological sites to be visited and weather conditions. Different guides may accompany our guests during extra tours.
In our classic packages where extra tours are not included, extra tours are optional and not mandatory. Passengers who do not wish to join the extra tours organized during the trip are deemed to have accepted waiting at a suitable rest facility along the route. These passengers will be left at a roadside rest facility before the extra tour begins and will be picked up from the point where they were left after the tour is completed.
In programs where extra tours are included, it is mandatory to pay the museum & archaeological site entrance fees to your agency at the time of booking or to the guide during the tour.
Lidya Tour acts as an intermediary between the airline and the passenger and is subject to the Hague Protocol dated 28.09.1955. Our passengers have purchased the tour knowing and accepting that flight details may change.
VISA
Visas are required for Turkish Republic citizens. For visa applications, you must apply through our agency with a passport valid for at least 6 months from the end date of travel and the documents specified in the “Documents Required for Visa” list.
The visa must be obtained from the first country of entry on the trip or from the country where you will stay the longest.
There is no visa requirement for Green Passport holders; a passport valid for at least 6 months from the end date of travel is sufficient.
The visa information specified in the program is the information applicable to citizens of the Republic of Turkey. Guests holding a passport other than that of the Republic of Turkey must obtain visa information from the relevant consulates.
Obtaining a visa does not mean that entry into the country is guaranteed; the passport police have the authority to deny you entry. Lidya Tour is not responsible for this situation; responsibility lies with the passenger.
In order to avoid problems with customs police at the border crossing of the country to be visited due to torn, worn, wet, and/or similarly damaged passports, passports that have been obtained must be renewed and, if the country applies a visa to Turkish Republic citizens, the relevant visa must be in the new passport. Otherwise, responsibility lies with the passenger.
Since there is a possibility that our guests under the age of 18 traveling alone or with only one parent may be asked for a document showing the mutual consent of both parents by the police officer at the country entry/exit points, we recommend that our guests under 18 and their parents pay attention to this matter.
