IMPORTANT NOTES
Our tour program is organized with a minimum participation of 20 people. If sufficient participation is not achieved for the trip, the final cancellation notice date by the agency is 21 days before the tour departure. The tour canceled due to insufficient participation will be notified to you through your agency.
In cases where there is not enough participation but the tour is carried out, guidance in English may be provided.
In cases where only category information is provided in the tour program without specifying a name and/or there are optional hotels for the same destination, the hotel(s) will be notified by your agency 48 hours before the trip departure.
During fairs, congresses, concerts, events, sports tournaments, etc., hotels may be used at a greater distance than the specified km or in a different city. In such a case, you will be informed by your agency 48 hours before the trip departure.
The panoramic city tours included in the tour package are tours organized for the general introduction of the cities and are panoramic tours of up to 2-3 hours, including guide narration from the vehicle only, and do not include museum or archaeological site entrances. If the panoramic tours and other tours specified in the program cannot be carried out because local authorities do not allow visits or entry on the day and time of the tour, or due to closed roads because of any event, or if weather conditions make the tour impossible, Lidya Tour is not responsible for the failure to carry out the tours in question. Some tours may be carried out by public transportation or on foot where possible in areas with closed roads or where vehicle entry is not allowed.
Triple rooms may be provided depending on hotel availability, and in such rooms the bed assigned to the third person is smaller than standard beds. Triple rooms consist of 1 large bed + 1 extra bed. Since extra beds are foldable and coach beds, tour participants are deemed to have declared that they accept the room congestion and bed type that may occur in reservations for the 3rd person and/or child. Child discounts are valid only for one child staying with 2 adults – provided the child is within the applicable age group. No bed guarantee is given in hotels for children aged 0-2.
Breakfasts included in the tour program and taken at the hotel are served in accordance with the breakfast culture of the country visited and are generally presented as a limited menu called continental breakfast, consisting of butter, jam, bread, tea, or coffee, and may be served in a separate hall allocated to the group.
Since tour flights are group tickets, flight times may change. You can confirm the current flight details with your agency. Current times will be conveyed by your agency together with the tour information.
Tour flight times must be confirmed before purchasing domestic flights. If the guest purchased the domestic connecting flight from a different product provider independent of the agency, they cannot request any refund from the agency in the event that the tour is canceled by the agency or there is a schedule change. The guest accepts in advance any material and moral losses that may arise due to the cancellation/change of the tour when purchasing the tour. Lidya Tour cannot be held responsible for this situation.
As per airline rules; if the departure flight of round-trip tickets purchased as return trips is not used, the return flight is canceled by the airline.
Our guests who join the tour without flights are required to be present at the tour starting point on their own means and without any delay. Otherwise, they will have to arrange all their transfers on their own.
Lidya Tour is not responsible for guests who do not arrive at the specified airport at the times announced in accordance with airline rules for participation in the tour, who do not complete check-in and boarding procedures on time, or who complete check-in and boarding procedures on time but cannot board the plane and thus cannot complete the flight. All expenses related to obtaining new round-trip tickets necessary for missed-flight guests to join the tour and transfers in the destination region, etc., are their responsibility.
The personal belongings, bags, suitcases, passports/IDs of the people participating in the tour are under their own responsibility, and Lidya Tour is not responsible for forgotten/lost/stolen items. In cases where forgotten items are found, there is no obligation to deliver them to the country and/or the person, and the costs incurred during delivery are borne by the owner of the item.
In cases such as illness or loss/theft, since the integrity and continuity of the group are essential for the guide, the guide cannot accompany guests one-on-one in such adverse situations.
When purchasing the tour, it is mandatory to correctly provide the name on the passport, date of birth, and passport number. Air tickets are issued according to this information. Ticket cancellation and change penalties arising from incorrect information will be charged to you.
In some airlines, food and drink and online check-in services may be subject to a fee.
During the tour, seat numbers cannot be guaranteed when using the bus.
Throughout our tours, the times announced by our guide to the guests are the departure times, the time for the vehicle wheels to turn. Our guide, who is responsible for equally protecting the rights of all our guests, will move the vehicle without any waiting at the meeting times. In such a case, our late guest must arrange transportation to the next stop on their own.
Extra tours are organized by the local agency we work with, with a minimum participation of 20 people. If sufficient numbers are not met, the tours cannot be carried out or the extra tour prices, content, and vehicle used may vary depending on the number of participants. In addition, the days and times of the tours may be changed by the guide according to the opening/closing status of the museums and archaeological sites at the destinations and the weather conditions. Different guides may accompany our guests during extra tours.
In our classic packages where extra tours are not included, extra tours are optional and not mandatory. Passengers who do not wish to join the extra tours organized during the tour are deemed to have accepted waiting at a suitable roadside rest facility. These passengers are left at a roadside rest facility before the extra tour begins and are picked up from the point where they were left after the tour is completed.
In programs where extra tours are included, it is mandatory to pay the museum & archaeological site entrance fees to your agency during reservation or to the guide during the tour.
The participant hereby agrees in advance that they will join the tours to be organized as stated in the tour program, will not disrupt the program, and accordingly will pay to the tour official during the trip, in addition to the amount previously notified in the tour program, the amount related to expenses such as local guide, museum & archaeological site entrance fees, city taxes, and if any, audio system with earphones. The participant has been fully and completely informed on this matter.
