Toledo is a true open-air museum and the former capital of Spain, and one of the most important cities on the UNESCO World Heritage list. The country’s most magnificent cathedral rivals some of the world’s leading museums by hosting works by world-famous painters. Known as the city of El Greco, Toledo has managed to remain unchanged from the 16th century to the present day. With buildings bearing traces of Roman, Visigothic, Arab, Gothic, and Renaissance architecture, narrow streets, El Greco’s paintings, typical pastry shops, Damascene shops, and of course its famous cathedral, it is a tourist attraction. Another tradition in Toledo is the production of marzipan, dating back to the time when the Arabs conquered the city. You cannot consider a visit to Toledo complete without tasting this mouthwatering sweet. After our walk in the Jewish quarter, we head to Madrid. Accommodation at our hotel.

After free time, we set off for Figueras with views of the Pyrenees Mountains.
