IMPORTANT NOTES

 Our tour program is organized with a minimum participation of 40 people. If sufficient participation is not achieved for the trip, the latest cancellation notice date by the agency is 21 days before the tour departure. The tour canceled due to insufficient participation will be notified to you through your agency.

 In cases where only category information is given without a name in the tour program and/or there are alternative options for the same destination, the hotel(s) will be announced by your agency 48 hours before the tour departure.

 During fairs, congresses, concerts, events, sports tournaments, etc., hotels may be used at distances greater than the stated km or in a different city. In such a case, you will be informed by your agency 48 hours before the tour departure.

 Panoramic city tours included in the tour package are tours organized for the general introduction of the cities, lasting at most 2-3 hours, conducted panoramically with the guide’s narration from inside the vehicle only, and not including museum or archaeological site entries. Lidya Tour is not responsible for the inability to conduct the said tours, including panoramic tours and other tours specified in the program, if local authorities do not permit sightseeing or entry on the day and time corresponding to the tour, or if the tour cannot take place due to any event or closed roads, or if weather conditions make the tour impossible. Some tours may be conducted by public transport or on foot where possible at closed roads or points where vehicle entry is not allowed.

 Triple rooms are subject to hotel availability, and the bed allocated to the 3rd person in such rooms is smaller than standard beds. Triple rooms consist of 1 large bed + 1 extra bed. Since the extra beds are foldable or coach beds, participants in the tour are deemed to have accepted the room congestion and bed type that may occur in reservations for the 3rd person and/or children. Child discounts are valid for one child only, within the relevant age group, staying with 2 adults. No bed guarantee is provided for children aged 0-2.

 Breakfasts included in the tour program and taken at the hotel are served in accordance with the breakfast culture of the country in question and generally as a limited menu called continental breakfast, consisting of butter, jam, bread, tea or coffee, and may be served in a separate hall allocated to the group.

 Since tour flights are group tickets, flight times may change. You can confirm the current flight details with your agency. Current times will be communicated by your agency along with the tour information.

 Tour flight times must be confirmed without purchasing a domestic flight. If the guest purchased the domestic connecting flight from a different product provider independent of the agency, they cannot request any refund from the agency in case the trip is canceled by the agency or if there is a schedule change. The guest accepts in advance any financial or moral losses that may arise due to the cancellation or change of the tour when purchasing the tour. Lidya Tour cannot be held responsible for this situation.

 According to airline rules, if the outbound flight of round-trip tickets purchased as a round trip is not used, the return flight is canceled by the airline.

 Guests included in the tour without flights must be present at the tour starting point on their own and without any delay. Otherwise, they will arrange all their transfers at their own expense.

 Lidya Tour is not responsible for the inability of guests who do not arrive at the specified airport at the times notified in accordance with airline rules, who do not complete check-in and boarding procedures on time, or who complete check-in and boarding procedures on time but cannot board the plane, to take the flight. The costs of obtaining new round-trip tickets required for guests who miss the plane to join the tour, as well as their transfers in the destination area, etc., are entirely their responsibility.

 The personal belongings, bags, suitcases, passports/IDs of participants in the tour are under their own responsibility, and Lidya Tour is not responsible for forgotten/lost/stolen items. If forgotten items are found, there is no obligation to deliver them to the country and/or person; any costs incurred during delivery are borne by the owner of the item.

 In cases such as illness, loss or theft, since the integrity and continuity of the group are essential for the guide, the guide cannot accompany guests individually in such adverse situations.

 When purchasing the tour, it is mandatory to provide the name, date of birth, and passport number exactly as shown in the passport. Airline tickets are issued according to this information. Penalties for ticket cancellation and changes arising from incorrect information will be collected from you.

 In some airlines, food and beverage services and online check-in services may be subject to fees.

 During the tour, seat numbers on the bus cannot be guaranteed.

 The times announced by our guide to guests during our tours are departure times, the time when the vehicle’s wheels start turning. Our guide, who is responsible for equally protecting the rights of all our guests, will move the vehicle without any waiting at the meeting times. In the event of a possible delay, our late guest must reach the next stop by their own means.

 Extra tours are organized by the local agency we receive service from with a minimum participation requirement of 20 people. If the required number is not met, the trips cannot be carried out, or the extra excursion prices, content, and vehicle used may vary according to the number of participants. In addition, the days and times of the tours may be changed by the guide depending on the open/closed status of museums and archaeological sites at the destination and on weather conditions. Different guides may accompany our guests during extra tours.

 Participation in extra tours is optional and not mandatory. Guests who do not wish to join extra tours organized during the tour are deemed to have accepted waiting at a suitable place on the road (rest area, etc.). These guests are dropped off before the extra tour starts and picked up from the point where they were left after the tour is completed. They cannot use the tour bus for transfer, and any personal expenses incurred while waiting are their responsibility.

 The participant expressly accepts that they will join the tours to be organized as specified in the tour program, will not disrupt the program, and accordingly will pay the amount previously announced in the tour program for expenses such as local guide, museum & archaeological site entrance fees, city taxes, audio system headphones, if any, separately to the tour official during the trip. The participant has been fully and completely informed in this regard.

 In programs where extra tours are included, it is mandatory to pay the museum & archaeological site entrance fees to your agency at the time of reservation or to the guide during the tour.

 Lidya Tour is an intermediary institution between the airline and the passenger and is subject to the Hague Protocol dated 28.09.1955. There may be a risk of delays on scheduled and special flights, or times may change before the current trip and flight. Lidya Tour is obliged to notify these changes as soon as possible. Our passengers have purchased the tour knowing and accepting that flight details may change.

VISA

 There is a visa requirement for Turkish Republic citizens. For a visa application, it is necessary to apply with a passport valid for at least 6 months from the end date of travel and the documents listed in the “Required Documents for Visa” list.

 There is no visa requirement for holders of green passports; a passport valid for at least 6 months from the end date of travel is sufficient.

 The visa information stated in the program applies to citizens of the Republic of Turkey. Guests holding a passport other than that of the Republic of Turkey must obtain visa information from the relevant consulates.

 Obtaining a visa does not mean that entry into the country is guaranteed; the passport police have the authority to refuse entry. Lidya Tour is not responsible for this situation; responsibility belongs to the passenger.

 In order to avoid any issues with customs police at the border crossing of the country to be visited due to passports that are torn, worn, wet, and/or similarly damaged; the passport must be renewed, and if the country applies a visa to T.R. citizens, the relevant visa must be in the new passport. Otherwise, responsibility belongs to the passenger.

 Since for our guests under 18 traveling alone or with only one parent, the border officer may request a document showing the mutual consent of both parents when entering/exiting the country, we recommend that our guests under 18 and their parents pay attention to this matter.
