Need to Know

Important Notes;
•    For this tour, a passport valid for 6 months, covering the minimum tour duration, is required.
•    LİDYA TOUR acts as an intermediary between the airline and the passenger and is subject to the 28.09.1955 Hague Protocol. 
•    During registration, the name as shown in the passport, date of birth, and passport number must be entered into the system. Airline tickets are issued according to this information. No-show fees for the cancellation or changes of airline tickets resulting from incorrect information will be charged to the guests.
•    The city where the plane lands may vary. LİDYA TOUR cannot be held responsible for schedule changes or possible delays made by airlines.
•    Airline rules apply to group tickets, and according to the group ticket rule, if the outbound flight is not used, the return flight cannot be used either.
•    The general baggage allowance for flights departing from Türkiye is 20Kg’s. This weight may vary depending on the airline and the destination country. For domestic flights in the countries visited, this weight may decrease to 15 Kg’s. Excess baggage weight/price rules are determined by the airlines and are not the responsibility of LİDYA TOUR.
•    If the number of participants required for the package tour is not sufficient, the cancellation of the tour will be notified to the consumer 20 days in advance. 
•    The tour route specified in the tour program is an example route, and changes may be made to the tour itinerary. City sightseeing tours may be conducted on the following day/days depending on the arrival time in the city. The excursions specified in the programs may, at the guide’s discretion and for any reason, be conducted on another day outside the specified day/days.

•    Extra tours along the route will take place if at least 10 people from the group participate. Guests who do not wish to participate will be asked to wait at the rest stop. 
•    Excursions or tours that local authorities do not permit for any reason will not take place. LİDYA TOUR cannot be held responsible if these excursions or tours cannot be operated. 
•    Museum and archaeological site entrance fees are not included in the prices.     
•    LİDYA TOUR reserves the right to change hotel names, provided that the star category remains the same.
•    All hotel names, etc. specified in the programs are examples and are written to indicate the star category and distance. This does not mean that accommodation will be provided at the hotel with the specified name.
•    In rooms for 3 people, an extra bed is provided, and the 3rd bed is smaller than a standard bed and/or is an additional folding bed. 
•    When children under the age of 18 who are not legally adults do not participate in the tour with one or both of their parents, they are required to carry the consent forms necessary for participation in the tour with them during the journey.
•    In the event of cancellation or changes, the “LİDYA TOUR Sales Agreement” shall apply.
 

Tour Program
Day 1 Istanbul – Barcelona

Meeting in front of the Turkish Airlines counter at the international departures terminal of Istanbul Airport 3 hours before the flight.  After completing the baggage, ticket and passport procedures, departure for Barcelona at 09:00 on Turkish Airlines flight TK1853. Upon our arrival at 10:45 local time, our panoramic city tour begins with our vehicle waiting for us at the airport. Barcelona is the second-largest city in Spain and the vibrant, fascinating capital of the Catalonia region, renowned worldwide. Bathed by the warm waters of the Mediterranean, this magnificent city offers a unique blend of history, art, culture and entertainment. With its magnificent architecture, colorful streets, delicious cuisine and lively nightlife, Barcelona attracts millions of visitors every year. The city resembles an open-air museum adorned with the unique works of Antoni Gaudí. During our city tour in this beautiful city, the La Sagrada Familia Church, the Christopher Columbus Monument, Montjuïc Hill, La Rambla, Spain Square and Catalunya Square, the Las Arenas, and the Olympic Port are among the places to be seen. After our tour, transfer to our hotel and free time. Overnight at the hotel

Day 2 Barcelona – Girona & Figueres (Dali Museum) – Barcelona

After the breakfast we will have at the hotel, our guests who wish may join the Magnificent Pearls of Northern Catalonia (Girona & Figueras & Dali Museum) tour, which will be organized as an optional extra. (70 Euros) The first stop of our tour is Girona. Girona, a historic city located in northeastern Catalonia, approximately 100 kilometers north of Barcelona, is famous for its narrow medieval streets, historic buildings, museums, churches and city walls. During our tour here, the Lion statue, Cathedral Square and the famous Jewish Quarter (El Call) are among the places to be seen. Following our tour, we set off for the city of Figueres. Figueres is a city located northeast of Girona and known as the birthplace of Salvador Dali. The city is closely associated with the life and works of the famous Spanish painter Salvador Dali. The most important tourist attraction in Figueres is the Salvador Dali Museum. Dali established a museum here to leave something in the place where he was born and exhibit his works. Today, this museum has the largest Dali collection and is considered Dali’s greatest work, as he designed every part of it. The museum contains more than 4,000 works created by Dali using different techniques. Following our tour, transfer to our hotel. In the evening, our guests who wish may join the Magnificent Flamenco Fire tour, which will be organized as an optional extra. (55 Euros) Flamenco is considered an expression of emotion and passion and is an important part of Spain's cultural heritage. As both a dance and a musical form, flamenco offers viewers a lively and exciting experience. Following the wonderful time you will spend here, transfer to our hotel. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 3 Barcelona – Park Güell & Gothic Quarter – Barcelona

After breakfast at the hotel, guests who wish may join the extra tour to be organized Gaudi’s Magnificent Masterpiece Park Guell & Gothic Quarter tour. (60 Euros) Our first stop on the tour is Park Guell. One of Antoni Gaudi’s magnificent works, Park Guell is included on the UNESCO World Heritage List. Known as a fairytale park, this park creates a fairytale atmosphere with its colorful stairways and fanciful pavilions. After seeing this magnificent work of Gaudi, our second stop will be the Gothic Quarter. In the Gothic Quarter, you can feel the enchanting atmosphere of the Middle Ages with its narrow and labyrinthine streets dating back to the Middle Ages, Gothic churches, romantic squares and Roman walls, and admire its historic texture. Among the most important structures in the quarter are Barcelona Cathedral, Plaça Reial (Royal Square), Plaça del Rei (King’s Square) and La Rambla. Following our tour, guests who wish may join the extra Magnificent Sitges Tour to be organized (40 Euros) Sitges is a charming seaside town located southwest of Barcelona, on the Mediterranean coast. It is famous for its turquoise sea, beautiful beaches and lively atmosphere, as well as being known for its art and cultural events and hosting many art galleries, museums and festivals. We will begin our excursion at the magical steps of the San Bartolome-Santa Tecla Cathedral and lose ourselves in its historic streets. This cathedral, dating back to the 17th century, rises over the remains of former Romanesque and Gothic churches. After admiring this magnificent cathedral, our next destination will be the historic streets of Sitges. Located within the medieval city center, the Maricel Palace and Museum, one of the finest examples of Modernism, is practically a paradise for collection enthusiasts. The place we will stop at just opposite is the Cau Ferrat Museum, the home of Santiago Rusiñol, one of the leaders of the modernist movement in the Catalonia region. When he began exhibiting his paintings here in Sitges, he played the greatest role in making the town so well known. After seeing the colorful houses and charming bars in the narrow streets where the Sitges Festival, which features horror and fantasy films and attracts thousands of people every year, is held, we will continue toward the beach and spend the rest of our time having fun like the locals. Following our tour, transfer to our hotel. Overnight at the hotel.

 

Day 4 Barcelona – Istanbul

After breakfast at the hotel, transfer to the airport at the time determined by the guide. Following baggage, ticket and passport procedures, departure at 18:30 on Turkish Airlines flight TK1856 to Istanbul Airport. Arrival at 23:55 local time and the end of our tour.
