Need to Know

Important Notes:
•    For this tour, a passport valid for 6 months, covering the minimum tour duration, is required.
•    LİDYA TOUR acts as an intermediary between the airline and the passenger and is subject to the 28.09.1955 Hague Protocol. 
•    During registration, the name as shown in the passport, date of birth, and passport number must be entered into the system. Airline tickets are issued according to this information. Any cancellation or change fees, including no-show fees, resulting from incorrect information will be charged to the guests.
•    The city where the aircraft lands may vary. LİDYA TOUR cannot be held responsible for schedule changes that may be made by airlines or for possible delays.
•    Airline rules apply to group tickets, and according to group ticket rules, if the outbound flight is not used, the return flight cannot be used either.
•    The standard baggage allowance on most flights departing from Türkiye is 20Kg. This allowance may vary depending on the airline and the destination country. On domestic flights within the countries visited, this allowance may decrease to 15 Kg. Excess baggage weight/price rules are determined by the airlines and are not the responsibility of LİDYA TOUR.
•    If the number of people required to participate in the package tour is not reached, the consumer will be informed of the tour cancellation 20 days in advance. 
•    The tour route specified in the tour program is an example route, and changes may be made to the tour itinerary. City sightseeing tours may be carried out on the following day/days depending on the time of arrival in the city. The excursions specified in the programs may, at the guide's discretion and for any reason, be conducted on a day other than the specified day/days.

•    Optional tours along the route will take place provided that at least 10 people from the group participate. Guests who do not wish to participate will be asked to wait at the rest stop.

•    Museum and archaeological site entrance fees are not included in the prices.     
•    LİDYA TOUR reserves the right to change hotel names while keeping the star category the same.
•    All hotel names, etc. specified in the programs are examples written to indicate the star category and distance. They do not mean that accommodation will be provided at the hotel with the specified name.
•    Triple rooms include an additional bed; the third bed is smaller than a standard bed and / or is an additional foldable bed. 
•    When children under the age of 18, who are not considered adults, do not participate in the tour with one or both of their parents, the required consent forms must be carried by the individuals during the journey.
•    In the event of cancellation or changes, the “LİDYA TOUR Sales Agreement” shall apply.

Tour Program
Day 1 Istanbul (SAW) – Casablanca – Marrakech

Meeting in front of the Air Arabia Airlines counter at the international departures terminal of Sabiha Gökçen Airport 3 hours before the flight. Following the baggage and ticket procedures, departure for Casablanca at 00.20 on Air Arabia Airlines flight 3O438. After arriving in Casablanca at 03.25 local time, departure for Marrakech by our vehicle waiting for us at the airport. Following our arrival in Marrakech, we begin exploring this city, which will take you centuries back with its narrow streets and takes its name from the word “mur akush,” meaning “Land of God” in the language of the Berbers, the oldest indigenous people of North Africa.  Marrakech, one of the country’s most important tourist centers, is also known as the “Red City” because of its famous red walls. During our city tour, the Bahia Palace, which offers a wonderful impression of what it was like to be a nobleman in 19th-century Morocco; the Koutoubia Minaret, one of the city’s most important landmarks; the Majorelle Gardens, home to a plant collection from all over the world; and Djemaa El Fna Square, the heart of the city known as the “Courtyard of Souks and Miracles,” are among the places we will see. After the tour, transfer to our hotel and free time. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.
 

Day 2 Marrakech – Essaouira – Marrakech

Following breakfast at the hotel, we set out on the UNESCO World Heritage-listed Magnificent Essaouira Tour. Having hosted civilizations since prehistoric times, Essaouira is located on the Atlantic coast and is known for its medina (city center), surrounded by old city walls painted white, narrow streets, and traditional markets. This Essaouira, whose city center is included on UNESCO’s ‘’World Heritage’’ list, is a tranquil coastal town where art and culture intertwine, in addition to being a fishing port. The city has a remarkably peaceful atmosphere compared to Marrakech, offering visitors the opportunity for a relaxing escape. Over the years, this atmosphere has attracted many world-famous artists, such as Cat Stevens, Jimi Hendrix, and Orson Welles, turning the city into a center of art and culture. The town most recently hosted the filming of the famous Game Of Thrones series.  During our tour, the Essaouira walls and Essaouira Castle, Essaouira Port, where the fish market is located, and the world-famous Medina are among the places we will visit.  In Essaouira, which bears the elegance of traditional Moroccan architecture alongside traces of modern life, you will also have the opportunity to enjoy shopping while exploring the city. After the tour, we return to our hotel in Marrakech. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.
 

Day 3 Marrakech – Rabat – Casablanca

After breakfast at the hotel, we depart for Morocco’s capital, the magnificent capital Rabat. Following our arrival, during the panoramic city tour, the Hassan Tower, the Mohammed V Mausoleum built in memory of the grandfather of the current king, who was a pioneer of Morocco’s independence, and the Royal Palace will be among the places we see.  After our tour, we depart for Casablanca. Upon our arrival, our city tour begins. Morocco’s main port, Casablanca is famous for the 1942 Hollywood film named after the city and is not only the country’s economic center but also its most densely populated city. As you walk through the city’s narrow streets, you can see Islamic, French and Berber influences reflecting its rich cultural heritage. Mohammed V Square, the heart of Casablanca; United Nations Square, where Morocco’s past and present are wonderfully blended; Hassan II Mosque, famous for its magnificent structure and being home to the world’s second-longest minaret; the Old Medina; the Habous district, famous for its open-air markets; and Ain Diab and the Corniche, located along the coastline on the Atlantic Ocean, will be among the places we see. After our tour, transfer to our hotel and free time. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.
 

Day 4 Casablanca – Istanbul (SAW)

Free time after breakfast at the hotel and checkout. Then depart for the airport at the time advised by our guide.  Following baggage and ticket procedures, depart for Istanbul at 16.50 on Air Arabia flight 3O437. Arrival at 23.40 local time and the end of our tour.
