Need to Know
  • A passport valid for 6 months, covering the minimum tour duration, is required for this tour.
  • LİDYA TOUR acts as an intermediary between the airline and the passenger and is subject to the Hague Protocol of 28.09.1955.
  • During registration, the name as stated in the passport, date of birth, and passport number must be entered into the system. Airline tickets are issued according to this information. No-show fees arising from the cancellation or alteration of airline tickets due to incorrect information will be charged to the guests.
  • The city where the aircraft lands may vary. LİDYA TOUR cannot be held responsible for schedule changes that may be made by airlines or for possible delays.
  • Airline rules apply to group tickets, and according to the group ticket rule, if the outbound flight is not used, the return flight cannot be used either.
  • For most flights departing from Türkiye, the baggage allowance is 20 kg. This allowance may vary depending on the airline and the destination country. On domestic flights within the countries visited, this allowance may decrease to 15 kg. Excess baggage weight and pricing rules are determined by the airlines and are not the responsibility of LİDYA TOUR.
  • If the number of participants for the package tour is insufficient, the consumer will be informed of the tour cancellation 20 days in advance.
  • The tour route specified in the tour program is an example route, and changes may be made to the tour itinerary. City sightseeing tours may be carried out on the following day/days depending on the time of arrival in the city. The excursions specified in the programs may, at the guide’s discretion and for any reason, be conducted on a day other than the specified day/days.

  • Optional tours along the route will take place if at least 10 people from the group participate. Guests who do not wish to participate will be asked to wait at the rest stop.

  • Museum and archaeological site entrance fees are not included in the prices.          
  • LİDYA TOUR reserves the right to change hotel names, provided that the star category remains the same.
  • All hotel names specified in the programs, etc. (and similar) are provided as examples regarding star category and distance. They do not mean that accommodation will be provided at the hotel with the specified name.
  • Extra beds are provided in rooms for 3 people, and the third bed is smaller than a standard bed and/or is an additional foldable bed.
  • When children under the age of 18 who are not legally adults do not participate in the tour with one or both of their parents, the required consent forms must be carried by the individuals during the journey.
  • In the event of cancellation or changes, the “LİDYA TOUR Sales Agreement” shall apply.

 

Tour Program
Day 1: Istanbul – Tunis

Meeting in front of the Turkish Airlines counter at Istanbul Airport international departures terminal 3 hours before the flight. Following baggage, ticket and passport procedures, departure for Tunis at 09:00 on Turkish Airlines flight TK661. Upon arrival in Tunis at 10:00 local time, our city tour begins with our vehicle waiting for us at the airport. Habib Bourguiba Avenue, described as Tunis’ “Champs Elsysees Boulevard,” Independence Square, the Clock Tower, which has become a symbol of the city, and St. Vincent de Paul Cathedral, the largest structure in Tunis dating from the colonial period to the present day, are among the places to be seen. Following our tour, transfer to our hotel in the Hammamet Region and free time. Dinner and overnight stay at our hotel in the Hammamet region.

Day 2 Tunisia

After the breakfast we will have at the hotel, we join the Historical Traces of Magnificent Tunisia (Tunis & Carthage & Sidi Bou Said & Bardo Museum) tour. Our tour begins in the city of Tunis. In this city, which is not only the capital of the country but also its political, commercial and cultural center, we will have the opportunity to witness modern and old Tunisia blended together. We then depart for Carthage, which is on the UNESCO World Heritage List, was founded by the Phoenicians and was once one of the centers of the Roman Empire in Africa. Following the lunch break here, we depart for Sidi Bou Said, the pearl of Tunisia. After our photo break accompanied by Mediterranean views in this charming town, famous for its cobblestone streets and blue-and-white houses, our next and final stop will be the Bardo Museum, one of the most important museums in the Mediterranean region. In addition to its rich marble collection featuring Roman gods and emperors, the museum also houses the world’s largest collection of Roman mosaics. Following our tour, transfer to our hotel. Dinner and overnight at our hotel in the Hammamet area.

Day 3 Tunisia

After the breakfast we will have at the hotel, we join the Magnificent Ancient Cities (Kairouan & El Djem & Sousse) tour. Our tour begins in the holy city of Kairouan, which is home to the Great Mosque, considered one of the finest examples of Islamic architecture in the region, and ranks fourth after Mecca, Medina and Jerusalem as a place of pilgrimage in Islam. We will then see the impressive remains of North Africa’s largest colosseum in El Djem. After seeing this impressive structure, which 35,000 spectators filled to watch gladiator fights during the region’s most prosperous period, we continue to Sousse, the country’s third-largest city and one of its tourism centers. After a lunch break in this city, famous for its magnificent scenery, bazaars in the maze-like medina in the city center and its walls, we depart for our hotel. Dinner and overnight stay at our hotel in the Hammamet area.

Day 4 Tunisia – Istanbul

After breakfast at the hotel, we check out. Then, we depart for the airport at the time to be announced by our guide.  After the luggage and ticket procedures, we depart for Istanbul at 18.20 on Turkish Airlines flight TK 664. Arrival at 23.15 local time and the end of our tour.
