Upon arrival in Tunis at 10:00 local time, our city tour begins with our vehicle waiting for us at the airport. Habib Bourguiba Avenue, described as the “Champs Elysees Boulevard” of Tunis, Independence Square, the Clock Tower, which has become a symbol of the city, and St. Vincent de Paul Cathedral, the largest structure remaining from Tunis’s colonial period to the present day, are among the places to be seen. Following our photo break accompanied by Mediterranean views in this charming town, famous for its cobblestone streets and blue-and-white houses, our next and final stop will be the Bardo Museum, one of the most important museums in the Mediterranean region. In addition to its rich collection of marble works featuring Roman gods and emperors, the museum is also home to the world's largest collection of Roman mosaics. After seeing this impressive structure, which 35,000 spectators filled to watch gladiator fights during the region’s most prosperous period, we proceed to Sousse, the country’s third-largest city and one of its tourism centers. After a lunch break in this city, famous for its magnificent views, bazaars in the maze-like medina in the city center, and city walls, we depart for our hotel.
