Our tour program is organized with a minimum participation of 40 people. If sufficient participation is not achieved for the tour, the final cancellation notice date by the agency is 21 days before the tour departure. The tour cancelled due to insufficient participation will be notified to you through your agency.

In cases where only category information is provided without specifying a name in the tour program and/or options are available for the same destination, the hotel(s) will be announced by your agency 48 hours before the tour departure.

During periods such as fairs, congresses, concerts, events, sports tournaments, etc., hotels may be used farther than the specified km distances or in a different city. In such a case, you will be informed by your agency 48 hours before the tour departure.

The panoramic city tours included in the tour package are tours organized for the general introduction of cities and lasting at most 2-3 hours, conducted panoramically from the vehicle only with guide commentary, excluding museum and site entrance fees. Lidya Tour is not responsible for the inability to carry out the panoramic tours and other tours specified in the program, including cases where, on the day and time of the tour, visits or entries are not permitted by local authorities, or the tour cannot take place due to closed roads because of any event, or when it becomes impossible to conduct the tour due to weather conditions. Some tours may, where possible, be carried out by public transportation or on foot at closed roads or points where vehicle access is not permitted.

Triple rooms are provided depending on hotel availability, and the bed assigned to the 3rd person in such rooms is smaller than standard beds. Triple rooms consist of 1 large bed + 1 extra bed. Since extra beds are folding beds and coach beds, tour participants are deemed to have accepted the possible crampedness in the rooms and the bed type in 3rd person and/or child reservations. Child discounts are valid only for one child staying with 2 adults and matching the relevant age group. No bed guarantee is given for children aged 0-2.

Breakfasts included in the tour program and taken at the hotel are served in accordance with the breakfast culture of the country visited and generally with a limited menu, known as continental breakfast, consisting of butter, jam, bread, tea or coffee, and may be served for groups in a separate hall allocated to the group.

Since tour flights are group tickets, flight times may change. You can confirm the current flight details with your agency. Current times will be communicated by your agency together with the tour information.

It is necessary to confirm the tour flight times before purchasing a domestic flight. If the guest purchased the domestic connection flight from a different product provider independent of the agency, they cannot request any refund from the agency in case the trip is cancelled by the agency or if there is a schedule change. The guest accepts in advance, at the time of purchasing the tour, all material and moral losses that may arise due to the cancellation or change of the tour. Lidya Tour cannot be held responsible for this.

According to airline rules; if the outbound flight of tickets purchased as round-trip is not used, the return flight is cancelled by the airline.

Our guests who join the tour without flights must be present at the tour starting point with their own means and without any delay. Otherwise, they will have to arrange all transfers on their own.

Lidya Tour is not responsible if guests who do not arrive at the specified airport at the times announced in accordance with airline rules for participation in the tour, do not complete check-in and boarding procedures on time, or complete them on time but still cannot board the plane and therefore cannot take the flight. Any expenses related to obtaining new round-trip tickets required for guests who miss the plane in order to join the tour, and transfers in the destination area, etc., shall be borne by them.

The personal belongings, bags, suitcases, passports/ID cards of the people participating in the tour are under their own responsibility, and Lidya Tour is not responsible for forgotten/lost/stolen items. In cases where forgotten items are found, there is no obligation to deliver them to the country and/or the person, and the costs incurred during delivery shall be borne by the owner of the item.

In cases such as illness or loss/theft, since the integrity and continuity of the group are essential for the guide, the guide cannot accompany guests individually in such adverse situations.

When purchasing the tour, it is mandatory to correctly provide the name, date of birth, and passport number as shown in the passport. Airline tickets are issued according to this information. Ticket cancellation and change penalty fees arising from incorrect information will be collected from you.

In some airlines, food and beverage services and online check-in may be subject to a fee.

During the tour, seat numbers on the bus cannot be guaranteed.

During our tours, the times announced by our guide to guests are the departure times, the time when the vehicle’s wheels start moving. Our guide, who is responsible for equally respecting the rights of all our guests, will move the vehicle without waiting at the meeting times. In such a case, our guest who is late will have to reach the next stop on their own.

Extra tours are organized by the local agency we work with, with a minimum participation of 20 people. If the required number is not reached, the tours cannot be carried out, or the extra tour prices, content, and vehicle used may vary according to the number of participants. In addition, the days and times of the tours may be changed by the guide depending on whether the museums and ruins at the destinations are open/closed and on weather conditions. A different guide may accompany our guests during extra tours.

In our classic packages, where extra tours are not included, extra tours are optional and not mandatory. Passengers who do not want to participate in extra tours arranged during the tour are deemed to have accepted waiting at a suitable rest facility along the way. These passengers are dropped off at a rest stop on the way before the extra tour starts and are picked up from the point where they were dropped off after the tour is completed.

In programs where extra tours are included, it is mandatory to pay the museum & site entrance fees to your agency at the time of reservation or to the guide during the tour.

Lidya Tour is an intermediary institution between the airline and the passenger and is subject to the Hague Protocol of 28.09.1955. There may be a risk of delay on scheduled and special flights, or times may change before the current trip and flight. Lidya Tour is obliged to notify these changes as soon as possible. Our passengers have purchased the tour knowing and accepting that flight details may change.

VISA

There is a visa requirement for T.R. citizens. For a visa application, you must apply with a passport valid for at least 6 months from the end date of travel and with the documents listed in the “Required Documents for Visa” list from our agency.

The visa must be obtained from the first country of entry on the trip or from the country where you will stay the longest.

For holders of green passports, there is no visa requirement, and a passport valid for at least 6 months from the end date of travel is sufficient.

The visa information specified in the program applies to citizens of the Republic of Turkey. Guests holding a passport other than that of the Republic of Turkey must obtain visa information from the relevant consulates.

Having obtained a visa does not mean that you will be allowed to enter the country; the passport police have the authority to deny you entry. Lidya Tour is not responsible for this situation; responsibility lies with the passenger.

In order to avoid problems with customs police at the border of the country to be visited due to torn, worn, wet and/or similarly damaged passports, the passports obtained must be renewed, and if the country applies a visa to T.R. citizens, the relevant visa must be in the new passport. Otherwise, responsibility lies with the passenger.

Since there is a possibility that police officers at country entry/exit points may ask for a document showing the mutual consent of the parents when our guests under the age of 18 travel alone or with only one of their parents, we recommend that our guests under 18 and their parents be sensitive about this matter.
