Meeting in front of the SunEpxress Airlines counter at the international departures terminal of İzmir Adnan Menderes Airport 3 hours before the flight.  After completing the baggage, ticket and passport procedures, departure for Barcelona at 11:35 on SunExpress Airlines flight XQ 894. Upon our arrival at 13:15 local time, our vehicle waiting for us at the airport will take us on our city tour. Barcelona is Spain’s second-largest city and the lively, fascinating capital of the Catalonia region, renowned worldwide. Bathed by the warm waters of the Mediterranean, this magnificent city offers a unique blend of history, art, culture and entertainment. With its magnificent architecture, colorful streets, delicious cuisine and vibrant nightlife, Barcelona attracts millions of visitors every year. The city is like an open-air museum adorned with the unique works of Antoni Gaudí. During our city tour in this beautiful city, the La Sagrada Familia Church, the Christopher Columbus Monument, Montjuïc Hill, La Rambla, Spain Square and Catalunya Square, the Las Arenas bullring and the Olympic Port are among the places to be seen. After the breakfast we will have at the hotel, our guests who wish may join the Magnificent Pearls of Northern Catalonia (Girona & Figueras & Dali Museum) tour, which will be organized as an optional extra. (70 Euros) The first stop of our tour is Girona. Girona, a historic city located in northeastern Catalonia, approximately 100 kilometers north of Barcelona, is famous for its narrow medieval streets, historic buildings, museums, churches and city walls. During our tour here, the Lion statue, Cathedral Square and the famous Jewish Quarter (El Call) are among the places to be seen. Following our tour, we set off for the city of Figueres. Figueres is a city located northeast of Girona and known as the birthplace of Salvador Dali. The city is closely associated with the life and works of the famous Spanish painter Salvador Dali. The most important tourist attraction in Figueres is the Salvador Dali Museum. Dali established a museum here to leave something in the place where he was born and exhibit his works. Today, this museum has the largest Dali collection and is considered Dali’s greatest work, as he designed every part of it. The museum contains more than 4,000 works created by Dali using different techniques. Following our tour, transfer to our hotel. In the evening, our guests who wish may join the Magnificent Flamenco Fire tour, which will be organized as an optional extra. (55 Euros) Flamenco is considered an expression of emotion and passion and is an important part of Spain's cultural heritage. After breakfast at the hotel, guests who wish may join the optional Gaudi’s Magnificent Work Park Guell & Gothic Quarter tour. (60 Euros) Our first stop on the tour is Park Guell. One of Antoni Gaudi’s magnificent works, Park Guell is included on the UNESCO World Heritage List. Known as a fairytale park, this park creates a magical atmosphere with its colorful stairways and imaginary pavilions. After seeing this magnificent work by Gaudi, our second stop is the Gothic Quarter. In the Gothic Quarter, you can feel the enchanting atmosphere of the Middle Ages among its narrow, labyrinthine streets dating back to the Middle Ages, Gothic churches, romantic squares, and Roman walls, while admiring its historical texture. The most important structures in the quarter include Barcelona Cathedral, Plaça Reial (Royal Square), Plaça del Rei (King’s Square), and La Rambla. After our tour, guests who wish may join the optional Magnificent Sitges Tour (40 Euros) Sitges is a charming seaside town located southwest of Barcelona on the Mediterranean coast. It is famous for its turquoise sea, beautiful beaches, and lively atmosphere, as well as for its art and cultural events, hosting numerous art galleries, museums, and festivals. We will begin our excursion at the magical stairs of the Cathedral of San Bartolome-Santa Tecla and lose ourselves in its historic streets. Dating back to the 17th century, this cathedral rises over the remains of former Romanesque and Gothic churches. After admiring this magnificent cathedral, our next stop will be the historic streets of Sitges. The Maricel Palace and Museum, located in the medieval town center and featuring rare examples of Modernism, is practically a paradise for collectors. The place we will visit directly opposite is the Cau Ferrat Museum, the home of Santiago Rusiñol, one of the leaders of the modernist movement in the Catalonia region. When he began exhibiting his paintings here in Sitges, he played the greatest role in making the town so well known. After seeing the colorful houses and charming bars in the narrow streets where the Sitges Festival, which features horror and fantasy films and attracts thousands of people every year, is held, we will head toward the beach and spend the rest of our time enjoying the day like the locals.
