Important Notes;

  • A passport valid for 6 months, covering at least the duration of the tour, is required for this tour.
  • LİDYA TOUR acts as an intermediary between the airline and the passenger and is subject to the 28.09.1955 Hague Protocol.
  • During registration, the name as written in the passport, date of birth, and passport number must be entered into the system. Flight tickets are issued according to this information. No-show fees for flight ticket cancellations or changes resulting from incorrect information will be charged to the guests.

 

 

  • The city where the plane lands may vary. LİDYA TOUR cannot be held responsible for schedule changes or possible delays made by the airlines.
  • Airline rules apply to group tickets, and according to the group ticket rule, if the outbound flight is not used, the return flight cannot be used either.
  • In general, the baggage allowance for flights departing from Turkey is 20Kg. This allowance may vary depending on the airline and the destination country. On domestic flights in the countries visited, this allowance may decrease to 15 Kg. Excess baggage weight/price rules are determined by the airlines and are not the responsibility of LİDYA TOUR.
  • If the number of participants for the package tour is insufficient, the cancellation of the tour will be notified to the consumer 20 days in advance.
  • The tour route specified in the tour program is an example route, and changes may be made to the tour itinerary. City sightseeing tours may be conducted on the following day/days depending on the time of arrival in the city. The excursions specified in the programs may, at the guide’s discretion and for any reason, be conducted on another day other than the specified day/days.

Tour Program
Day 1 Izmir – Milan

Meeting 3 hours before the flight in front of the SunExpress Airlines counter at the international departures terminal of İzmir Adnan Menderes Airport.  Following the baggage, ticket and passport procedures, departure for Milan at 11.35 on SunExpress Airlines’ XQ892 flight. After our arrival at 12.40 local time, our panoramic city tour begins with our vehicle waiting for us at the airport. In Milan, famous for its wealth of historical and modern sights, the Duomo Cathedral, one of the largest and most magnificent Gothic cathedrals in the world; La Scala, one of the world’s oldest opera houses; Galleria Vittorio Emanuele, a stunning 19th-century arched shopping gallery; and Castello Sforzesco (Sforza Castle), with its magnificent architecture, are among the places to be seen. After our tour, transfer to our hotel. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 2: Milan – Verona – Venice

After the breakfast we will have at the hotel, we set off toward Venice.  Along the way, we join the Magnificent Verona Tour’. (The Verona tour is included in the tour fee) Located in northern Italy, on the banks of the Adige River, it is a historic city with a rich cultural heritage dating back to the Roman period. The city, evoking a sense of aesthetics through history, architecture and literature, is known for Shakespeare’s famous work "Romeo and Juliet"; it attracts visitors with the building known as Juliet's house and its balcony. Among Verona's impressive medieval architectural structures, the Arena di Verona, an amphitheater dating back to the 1st century, stands out as a magnificent Roman structure and still hosts important concerts. In addition, the city’s narrow stone streets and lively squares such as Piazza delle Erbe and Piazza Bra reflect its rich history and cultural diversity. After our tour, we continue our journey to Venice. Like a historic fairytale city dancing on the water, Venice captivates its visitors with its romance and mystery, surrounded like a labyrinth by canals and gondolas. During our city tour, St. Mark’s Basilica and Square, the Doge’s Palace, the Grand Canal, the Bridge of Sighs and the Rialto Bridge are among the places to see in Venice. After our tour, guests who wish may join the Gondola Tour on the Magnificent Venetian Canals to be organized as an extra. (40 Euros) During this tour, which we will take with traditional gondolas, one of the symbols of Venice, we will have the opportunity to see Venice’s canals. At the end of the tour, transfer to our hotel and free time. Overnight at our hotel.

Day 3 Venice – Rome

After enjoying breakfast at the hotel, we set off for Rome, the country’s largest city and capital. Upon arrival, our city tour begins. The city, which was also the center of one of the greatest civilizations in history, has been a center of power, culture, and religion throughout its approximately 2,500-year existence. The city’s historic center is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. With its magnificent palaces, thousand-year-old churches and basilicas, impressive romantic ruins, grand monuments, ornate sculptures, and elegant fountains, the city has an exceptionally rich historical heritage and a cosmopolitan atmosphere. The Vatican (St. Peter’s Basilica), the administrative center of the Catholic denomination of Christianity; the Colosseum, where gladiatorial battles were held; the Roman Forum, located in the center of Ancient Rome and once the site of religious, political, and social activities; the Monument to Victor Emmanuel II (Vittoriano Emanuele); the Trevi Fountain (Fontana di Trevi), famous in our country as the Fountain of Love; and the Spanish Steps (Piazza di Spagna) are among the places to be seen. Following our tour, transfer to our hotel. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 4 Rome – Castel Gandolfo & Nemi & Vatican – Rome

Following the breakfast we will have at the hotel, guests who wish may join the additionally organized Magnificent Castel Gondolfo & Nemi & Outlet & Vatican Tour’. (85 Euros) Our first stop will be Castel Gondolfo, home to the Papal Summer Palace, known as the summer residence of the Popes. This historic palace and its surroundings are famous for their impressive views and beautiful gardens. We then depart for Nemi Village. Located around Lake Nemi, which was formed inside a volcanic crater, this village is also known as the strawberry village because the region is renowned for its fresh and delicious strawberries. With its historical ruins, narrow stone streets and beautiful lake views, the village is an attractive destination for both tourists and nature lovers. During the free time provided, you will have the opportunity to explore the village and go shopping. Following our tour, we head to Italy’s most famous outlet area and have free time. You will have the opportunity to shop at attractive prices in this outlet area. Following our tour, we depart for the famous San Pietro Square in the Vatican, which is regarded as the center of Christianity. Upon arrival, free time will be provided to visit the basilica and the square. As you walk around the square, the obelisk in its center and the columns surrounding it will truly enchant you. Following our tour, transfer to our hotel. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 5: Rome – Naples & Pompeii – Rome

Following the breakfast we will have at the hotel, guests who wish may join the additionally organized Magnificent Naples & Pompeii tour. (110 Euro). Naples, an energetic port city in southern Italy brimming with historical and cultural richness, has a unique character with its lively markets, traditional pizza, and impressive historical ruins, located on the shores of the Mediterranean under the shadow of Mount Vesuvius, which offers a magnificent view. Our next stop after the tour is Pompeii. At the archaeological site of this Ancient Roman city, which was destroyed by the eruption of Mount Vesuvius’ in 79 B.C. and brought to light thousands of years later, you will embark on a deep journey into the Ancient Roman era, with remarkably well-preserved remains of settlements and daily life. Following our tour, transfer to our hotel. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 6 Rome – Florence – Pisa, Siena & San Gimignano – Florence

After our breakfast at the hotel, we set off towards Florence. Upon our arrival in Florence, the city where the Renaissance was born, our panoramic city tour begins. Our city tour in Florence, a cultural, artistic, and architectural jewel, includes the Duomo Cathedral (Santa Maria Del Fiore), the Baptistery, the Old Palace, Ponte Vecchio, and Piazza Signoria. After our tour, guests who wish may join the Magnificent Tuscan Towns (Pisa & Siena & San Gimignano) Tour to be organized as an extra. (110 Euros) Our first stop will be the Leaning Tower of Pisa, one of the symbols of the country and famous for its inclined structure. After taking magnificent photos here, we continue to the city of Siena, which is included on the UNESCO World Heritage List. With its narrow streets and stone buildings carrying the magic of the Middle Ages, Siena offers visitors an almost time-travel experience and, with its historic Piazza del Campo and impressive cathedral, is like an elegant fortress at the heart of traditional Italian city life. Our final stop on the tour will be San Gimignano. San Gimignano is a town in the heart of Tuscany, famous for its stone towers rising like a medieval fairy tale. Called the “Manhattan of the Middle Ages,” this impressive settlement is known for its 14 tall towers, built as a result of the struggle for wealth and prestige among city-states in the 14th century. With its narrow, labyrinthine streets and historic buildings, it vividly conveys traces of the past to its visitors. In addition, this town, offering magnificent panoramic views, also enchants with its artistic and cultural riches; its buildings constructed in Gothic and Romanesque styles, historic square Piazza della Cisterna, and fascinating frescoes make it a true treasure of history and art. Day 7 Florence – Milan

After having breakfast at the hotel, we set off for Milan. Upon our arrival in Milan, our guests who wish may join the Magnificent Lakes (Como & Lugano) and Outlet Center Tour’. (75 Euros) Our first stop on the tour is Como. Named after Lake Como, which has become synonymous with the city, Como is one of the attraction centers with a unique natural landscape that attracts visitors from all over the world. In addition to its architectural beauties reflecting Gothic and Renaissance styles, Como also draws attention with the homes owned by world-famous names such as Madonna and George Clooney. Our second stop after the tour is Lugano. Lake Lugano is a fascinating lake located in southern Switzerland, at the foothills of the Alps. This lake brings together the cultural and natural features of both Switzerland and Italy. After our visit to this city, famous for its magnificent views and elegant shopping streets, we take a break for shopping at the outlet featuring world-famous brands. Day 8 Milan – Izmir

After breakfast at the hotel, transfer to the airport at the time determined by the guide. Following the baggage, ticket and passport procedures, departure at 13.40 on SunExpress Airlines flight XQ893 to İzmir Adnan Menderes Airport. Arrival at 18.25 local time and the end of our tour.
