Following the breakfast we will have at the hotel, we set off for Rome, the largest city and capital of the country. Upon our arrival, our city tour begins. With its magnificent palaces, thousand-year-old churches and basilicas, grand romantic ruins, imposing monuments, ornate statues and elegant fountains, the city has an exceptionally rich historical heritage and a cosmopolitan atmosphere. The Vatican (St. Peter’s Cathedral), the administrative center of the Catholic denomination of Christianity; the Collosseum, where gladiator fights were held; the Roman Forum, located in the center of Ancient Rome and once the site of religious, political and social activities; the Monument to Victor Emmanuel II (Vittoriano Emanuele); the Fontana di Trevi, famous in our country as the Fountain of Love; and the Spanish Steps (Piazza di Spagna) are among the places to be seen.
