Need to Know

  • A passport valid for 6 months, covering at least the minimum tour duration, is required for this tour.
  • LİDYA TOUR acts as an intermediary between the airline and the passenger and is subject to the Hague Protocol of 28.09.1955.
  • During registration, the name as shown on the passport, date of birth, and passport number must be entered into the system. Airline tickets are issued according to this information. No-show fees resulting from the cancellation or change of airline tickets due to incorrect information will be charged to the guests.
  • The city where the aircraft lands may vary. LİDYA TOUR cannot be held responsible for schedule changes that may be made by airlines or for possible delays.
  • Airline rules apply to group tickets, and under the group ticket rule, if the outbound flight is not used, the return flight cannot be used either.
  • For most flights departing from Türkiye, the baggage allowance is 20 kg. This allowance may vary depending on the airline and the destination country. On domestic flights within the countries visited, this allowance may decrease to 15 kg. Excess baggage weight and price rules are determined by the airlines and are not the responsibility of LİDYA TOUR.
  • If the number of people participating in the package tour is insufficient, the consumer will be notified of the tour cancellation 20 days in advance.
  • The tour route specified in the tour program is an example route, and changes may be made to the tour itinerary. Tour Program
Day 1: İzmir – Basel – Strasbourg

Meeting in front of the SunExpress Airlines counter at the international departures terminal of İzmir Adnan Menderes Airport 3 hours before the flight. Following the baggage, ticket, and passport procedures, departure for Basel at 12:10 on SunExpress Airlines flight XQ 912. After arriving in Basel at 13:25 local time, our Basel city tour begins with our vehicle waiting for us at the airport. Basel, Switzerland’s third most populous city after Zurich and Geneva, is a magnificent city that encompasses both modern and historic textures and contains many treasures despite its small area. During our city tour, Basel Cathedral, where the tomb of the famous Dutch Renaissance writer Erasmus is located, the city’s main square Marktplatz, the Government Building, and Hotel Les Trois Roi will be among the places to see. After our tour, departure for Strasbourg. As you explore Strasbourg, one of the most beautiful cities in France and the pearl of the Alsace region, you will feel as though you are journeying through history in Europe’s largest cobblestoned medieval districts. With its fairytale-like nature and historical structures, wooden houses, medieval churches, cathedrals, and numerous works of art, it is a place well worth seeing. Strasbourg also has historical importance as the place where the French national anthem, “La Marseillaise,” was written, and stands out as a city where Alsatian culture and French architecture are blended. During our city tour, Strasbourg Cathedral, Rohan Palace, Place Kléber, and the Petit France district adorned with traditional Alsatian houses will also be among the places to see. Day 2 Strasbourg – Eguisheim – Colmar – Kaysersberg – Riquewihr – Strasbourg

After breakfast at the hotel, our guests who wish may join the optional Splendid Fairy-Tale Villages of Alsace (Eguisheim & Colmar & Kaysersberg & Riquewihr) tour. (110 Euros) On our tour, during which we will want to take photographs at every opportunity from beginning to end, our first visit will be to Eguisheim. Named the “Favorite French Village” in 2013, Eguisheim is a village where history and nature dance together. Its colorful houses, reflecting the typical architecture of the Alsace region, create Eguisheim’s postcard-like appearance. Following our tour, we depart for Colmar, famous for its historic buildings dating back to the Middle Ages, Gothic-style churches, and colorful houses. While strolling through Colmar’s exceptionally well-preserved streets, the places to see include St. Martin Cathedral, built entirely from pink stone; Little Venice, reminiscent of Italy’s city of Venice with its small canals; Maison Pfister, one of Colmar’s oldest houses; and Maison des Têtes, a Renaissance building adorned with faces. The third stop on our tour is Kaysersberg. Kaysersberg is a charming part of the Alsace region, a medieval town in France. It is famous for its colorful houses, narrow streets, and historic character. In particular, the Château de Kaysersberg fortress, dating back to the 13th century, is one of the town’s most prominent symbols. The Sainte-Croix Church, located in the town center, stands out with its Gothic architecture. Following our tour, we head to our final stop, Riquewihr, one of Alsace’s most enchanting towns, featuring numerous half-timbered houses that give the town its charm. This historic village fascinates its visitors with its old houses decorated with colorful flowers, narrow streets, and medieval character surrounded by ramparts. During our tour, we will also see the remains of Riquewihr Castle and feel the medieval atmosphere by walking along the village’s old ramparts. Day 3 Strasbourg – Heidelberg – Baden-Baden – Outlet Center – Strasbourg

Free time after breakfast at the hotel. Guests who wish may join the Splendid Germany Duo (Heidelberg & Baden Baden & Outlet Center) tour, organized as an optional extra. (110 Euros) Our tour begins with a departure for Heidelberg. The streets, squares, and buildings of this city will take you on a journey through time, making you feel the Middle Ages at every corner. A tranquil, elegant, and refined city, Heidelberg will welcome you with the harmony of its architecture and colors. During our city tour here, Hauptstrasse, Marktplatz Square, the Old Bridge, and Heidelberg Castle are among the places to be seen. Following our tour, our second stop is Baden Baden, a treasure trove of oxygen surrounded by nature, a center of culture and art, home to thermal springs, and even one of Europe’s most famous casinos, offering countless attractions. After exploring Baden Baden, a unique overseas travel destination that has inspired many famous writers and composers, our final stop is the outlet center, where many famous brands are located together, and we will have free time. Following our tour, transfer to our hotel. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 4 Strasbourg – Rhine Falls, Schaffhausen – Zurich – Lucerne – Strasbourg

Free time after breakfast at the hotel. Guests who wish may join the optional Magnificent Schaffhausen Rhine Falls and Swiss Cities (Rhine Falls & Zurich & Lucerne) tour. (130 Euros) Our first stop on the tour is the natural wonder of the Rhine Falls, which holds the title of Europe’s largest waterfall with its width of 150 meters and height of 23 meters. Embraced by the powerful branches of the Rhine River, this place is a paradise where you will find peace while watching the dance of the deep blue waters. After our enchanting walk, accompanied by the power of the water and the impressive scenery, our second stop is Zurich, Switzerland’s largest city, which welcomes millions of visitors every year with its historic center, striking Gothic-style churches, and historic buildings. After seeing the Grossmünster and Fraumünster Churches and St. Peter’s Church, home to Europe’s largest clock tower, we tour Bahnhofstrasse, considered the city’s shopping center. After our tour, we travel to Lucerne, a historic city located in central Switzerland at the foothills of the Alps. In this fascinating city, after seeing the Lion Monument, built in memory of the 800 Swiss soldiers who were martyred while protecting King Louis XVI and his family, the Chapel Bridge, and the magnificent view of Lake Lucerne, we conclude our tour and transfer to our hotel. Day 5 Strasbourg – Stuttgart – Izmir

After breakfast, check-out from the rooms and departure for Stuttgart Airport as indicated by our guide. Following the baggage, ticket, and passport procedures, departure for Izmir at 14:05 on SunExpress Airlines flight XQ 973. Arrival at 18:55 local time and the end of our tour.
