Need to Know

  • For this tour, a passport valid for 6 months, covering the minimum tour duration, is required.
  • LİDYA TOUR acts as an intermediary between the airline and the passenger and is subject to the Hague Protocol of 28.09.1955.
  • During registration, the name as stated in the passport, date of birth, and passport number must be entered into the system. Airline tickets are issued according to this information. Any no-show fees resulting from the cancellation or change of airline tickets due to incorrect information will be charged to the guests.
  • The city where the aircraft lands may vary. LİDYA TOUR cannot be held responsible for schedule changes or possible delays that may be made by the airlines.
  • Airline rules apply to group tickets, and under the group ticket rule, if the outbound flight is not used, the return flight cannot be used either.
  • The general baggage allowance for flights departing from Türkiye is 20 kg. This allowance may vary depending on the airline and the destination country. On domestic flights within the countries visited, this allowance may decrease to 15 kg. Excess baggage weight and price rules are determined by the airlines and are not the responsibility of LİDYA TOUR.
  • If the number of participants for the package tour is insufficient, the cancellation of the tour will be notified to the consumer 20 days in advance.
  • The tour route specified in the tour program is an example route, and changes may be made to the tour itinerary. City sightseeing tours may be conducted on the following day or days depending on the arrival time in the city. The excursions specified in the programs may, at the guide’s discretion and for any reason, be held on another day or days apart from those specified.

Tour Program
Day 1 İzmir – Frankfurt – Strasbourg

Meeting in front of the SunExpress Airlines counter at the international departures terminal of İzmir Adnan Menderes Airport 3 hours before the flight. Following the baggage, ticket and passport procedures, departure for Frankfurt at 07.05 on SunExpress Airlines flight XQ 910. After arriving in Frankfurt at 08.35 local time, departure for Strasbourg by our vehicle waiting for us at the airport. As you explore Strasbourg, one of France’s most beautiful cities and the pearl of the Alsace region, you will feel as though you are journeying through history in Europe’s largest cobblestone medieval neighborhoods. With its fairytale-like nature and historic buildings, wooden houses, medieval historic churches, cathedrals and numerous works of art, it is a place well worth seeing. Strasbourg also has historical significance as the place where the French national anthem “La Marseillaise” was written, and presents itself as a city where Alsatian culture and French architecture are blended. During our city tour, Strasbourg Cathedral, Rohan Palace, Place Kléber and the Petit France district, adorned with traditional Alsatian houses, will also be among the places to see. Following our tour, transfer to our hotel. Overnight at our hotel in Strasbourg or the surrounding area.

Day 2 Strasbourg – Eguisheim – Colmar – Kaysersberg – Riquewihr – Strasbourg

After breakfast at the hotel, our guests may optionally join the Magnificent Alsace’s Fairy-Tale Villages (Eguisheim & Colmar & Kaysersberg & Riquewihr) tour. (110 Euros) Throughout our tour, we will want to take photographs at every opportunity, and our first visit will be to Eguisheim. Awarded the title of “Favorite French Village” in 2013, Eguisheim is a village where history and nature intertwine. Its colorful houses, reflecting the typical architecture of the Alsace region, create Eguisheim’s postcard-like appearance. After our tour, we head to Colmar, famous for its medieval historic buildings, Gothic-style churches, and colorful houses. While strolling through Colmar’s remarkably well-preserved streets, we will see St. Martin’s Cathedral, built entirely of pink stone; Little Venice, which resembles Italy’s city of Venice with its small canals; Maison Pfister, one of Colmar’s oldest houses; and Maison des Têtes, a Renaissance building decorated with hundreds of faces. Our third stop on the tour is Kaysersberg. Kaysersberg is a charming part of the Alsace region, a medieval town in France. It is famous for its colorful houses, narrow streets, and historic character. In particular, Château de Kaysersberg, a castle dating back to the 13th century, is one of the town’s most prominent landmarks. The Sainte-Croix Church, located in the town center, draws attention with its Gothic architecture. Following our visit, we proceed to our final stop, Riquewihr, one of the most enchanting towns in Alsace, featuring numerous half-timbered houses that lend the town its charm. This historic village fascinates visitors with its old houses decorated with colorful flowers, narrow streets, and medieval character surrounded by ramparts. During our tour, we will also see the remains of Riquewihr Castle and feel the medieval atmosphere as we walk along the village’s old ramparts. After our tour, transfer to our hotel in Strasbourg. Day 3 Strasbourg – Heidelberg – Baden-Baden – Outlet Center – Strasbourg

Free time after breakfast at the hotel. Guests who wish may join the optional Glorious Germany Duo (Heidelberg & Baden Baden & Outlet Center) tour. (110 Euros) Our tour begins with a departure for Heidelberg, our first stop. The streets, squares, and buildings of this city will take you on a journey through time, evoking the Middle Ages at every corner. A calm, elegant, and refined city, Heidelberg will welcome you with the harmony of its architecture and colors. During our city tour here, Hauptstrasse, Marktplatz Square, the Old Bridge, and Heidelberg Castle are among the sights to be seen. Following our tour, our second stop is Baden Baden, a treasure trove of oxygen surrounded by nature, a center of culture and art, home to thermal springs, and even one of Europe's most famous casinos, offering countless opportunities. After exploring Baden Baden, a unique international travel destination that has inspired many famous writers and composers, we will give you free time at the outlet center, where many renowned brands are gathered together. Following our tour, transfer to our hotel. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 4 Strasbourg – Schaffhausen Rhine Falls – Zurich – Lucerne – Strasbourg

Free time after breakfast at the hotel. Guests who wish may join the optional Magnificent Schaffhausen Rhine Falls and Swiss Cities (Rhine Falls & Zurich & Lucerne) tour. (130 Euros) Our first stop on the tour is the natural wonder of the Rhine Falls, which is Europe's largest waterfall, measuring 150 meters wide and 23 meters high. Embraced by the powerful branches of the Rhine River, this place is a paradise where you will find peace while watching the dance of the deep blue waters. After our enchanting walk, accompanied by the power of the water and the impressive scenery, our second stop is Zurich, Switzerland's largest city, which welcomes millions of visitors every year with its historic center, stunning Gothic-style churches, and historic buildings. After seeing the Grossmünster and Fraumünster Churches and St. Peter's Church, home to Europe's largest clock tower, we tour Bahnhofstrasse, considered the city's shopping center. Following our tour, we travel to Lucerne, a historic city located in central Switzerland at the foothills of the Alps. In this enchanting city, we see the Lion Monument, built in memory of the 800 Swiss soldiers who were martyred while protecting King Louis XVI and his family, the Chapel Bridge, and the magnificent view of Lake Lucerne, before ending our tour and transferring to our hotel. Overnight at our hotel in or around Strasbourg.

Day 5 Strasbourg – Basel – Izmir

After breakfast, check-out and departure for Basel as indicated by our guide. Upon arrival, our city tour begins. Basel, Switzerland’s third most populous city after Zurich and Geneva, is a magnificent city that combines both modern and historic textures and, although small in area, contains many treasures. During our city tour, the places to be seen include Basel Cathedral, where the tomb of the famous Dutch Renaissance writer Erasmus is located, the city’s main square, Marktplatz, the Government Building, and Hotel Les Trois Roi. After our tour, transfer to Basel Airport. Following the baggage, ticket, and passport procedures, departure for Izmir at 14:15 on SunExpress Airlines flight XQ 913. Arrival at 19:10 local time and the end of our tour.
