Need to Know
  • For this tour, a passport valid for 6 months covering the minimum tour duration is required.
  • LİDYA TOUR acts as an intermediary between the airline and the passenger and is subject to the Hague Protocol of 28.09.1955.
  • During registration, the name as shown in the passport, date of birth, and passport number must be entered into the system. Airline tickets are issued based on this information. No-show fees arising from the cancellation or amendment of airline tickets due to incorrect information will be charged to the guests.
  • The city where the aircraft lands may vary. LİDYA TOUR cannot be held responsible for schedule changes or possible delays caused by airlines.
  • Airline rules apply to group tickets, and according to the group ticket rule, if the outbound flight is not used, the return flight cannot be used either.
  • The baggage allowance for most flights departing from Türkiye is 20 kg. This allowance may vary depending on the airline and the destination country. On domestic flights within the countries visited, this allowance may decrease to 15 kg. Excess baggage weight and pricing rules are determined by the airlines and are not the responsibility of LİDYA TOUR.
  • If the number of participants for the package tour is insufficient, the consumer will be notified of the tour cancellation 20 days in advance.
  • The tour route specified in the tour program is an example route, and changes may be made to the tour itinerary. City sightseeing tours may be conducted on the following day or days depending on the arrival time in the city. The excursions specified in the programs may, at the guide’s discretion and for any reason, be conducted on a day other than the specified day or days.

Tour Program
Day 1 İzmir – Düsseldorf – Amsterdam

Meeting in front of the SunExpress Airlines counter at the International Departures terminal of İzmir Adnan Menderes Airport 3 hours before the flight. After baggage, ticket and passport procedures, departure for Düsseldorf at 11:40 on SunExpress Airlines flight XQ958. Following our arrival at 13:15 local time, departure for Amsterdam by our vehicle waiting at the airport. Upon arrival, our Amsterdam city tour begins. During our city tour of Amsterdam, Dam Square, Central Station, the National Monument, the Royal Palace, the Flower Market and the Red Light District are among the places to be seen. Following our tour, transfer to our hotel. Overnight in Amsterdam or the surrounding area.
 

Day 2 Amsterdam – Zaanse Schans – Marken – Volendam – Giethoorn – Amsterdam

Following the breakfast we will have at the hotel, guests who wish may join the Magnificent Fairy-Tale Villages and Waterways (Zaanse Schans & Marken & Volendam & Giethoorn Hobbit Village) tour, which will be organized as an optional extra. (110 Euros) Our tour begins in the town of Zaanse Schans. One of the Netherlands’ hidden paradise towns, Zaanse Schans is famous for its historic windmills dating back to the 17th century that are still in operation, as well as its untouched nature. In the Dutch town of Zaanse Schans, which possesses beauty unparalleled anywhere in the world with its historic windmills and wooden houses, you will feel as though you are touring an open-air museum. The second stop on our tour is Marken. After exploring the interior of this wonderful island, which was once an island but was later connected to the mainland by filling in the area between them, we depart for Volendam. Volendam is a place that captivates people as soon as they see it, with its harbor, characteristic Dutch houses, and people wearing traditional clothing. After spending a pleasant time in this town, where you can taste delicious seafood and cheeses and buy inexpensive souvenirs, our final stop is Giethoorn Hobbit Village. Regarded as one of the most beautiful places in the world, Giethoorn is one of the most fairy-tale-like places in Europe. Giethoorn gained its popularity after the 1958 film “Fanfare” was filmed here, and since then it has continued to grow in fame, welcoming more than 800,000 tourists each year. Day 3 Amsterdam – Bruges – Ghent – Brussels

Following breakfast at the hotel, we depart for Brussels. Along the way, guests who wish may join the Magnificent Cities Bruges & Ghent tour, organized as an optional extra. (90 Euros) Our first stop on the tour is Bruges, famous for its magnificent beauty. Today, Bruges is one of the most visited cities in Europe and was placed under UNESCO protection in 1991. With its medieval architecture, canals, narrow streets, bridges, historic buildings and squares, it has succeeded in becoming one of Europe’s most cherished cities. After exploring this beautiful city, we travel to Ghent, another city where time seems to have stood still. With a history dating back 1,400 years, Ghent was founded at the confluence of the Scheldt and Lys rivers and was one of the largest and wealthiest cities of the Middle Ages. After our tour of this city, famous for its medieval monuments and university, we depart for Brussels. One of the most remarkable stops on Benelux tours, Brussels stands out for its versatility. Thanks to its cosmopolitan character, the city offers travelers many different opportunities, and we will visit a variety of valuable landmarks. Upon arrival, the places we will see include the Royal Palace, the Chinese and Japanese houses, Brussels Cathedral, the city square, the Stock Exchange Building, the Atomium Monument and the Manneken Pis statue. After our tour, we transfer to our hotel and have free time. Overnight in Brussels or the surrounding area.
 

Day 4 Brussels – Paris

After having breakfast at the hotel, we depart for Paris, one of the most romantic cities in the world. Upon our arrival in Paris, the places we will see include Charles de Gaulle and the Arc de Triomphe, the Champs-Élysées, the Louvre Museum and its Pyramid, Place de l'Étoile, the Grand Palais and Petit Palais exhibition palaces, Place de la Concorde and its Obelisk, the French Parliament Building, Pont Alexandre III, the Seine River, Napoleon’s Tomb, and the Eiffel Tower. Following our tour, we transfer to our hotel and have free time. In the evening, guests who wish may join the optional Paris Under the Magnificent Lights tour. (35 Euros) The city of Paris is beautiful in a different way by day and by night. On this tour, you will have the opportunity to see the Champs-Élysées, Place de la Concorde, the Louvre Museum, and many other boulevards, buildings, and squares illuminated by lights. Following our tour, we transfer to our hotel. Overnight in Paris or the surrounding area.
 

Day 5 Paris

After breakfast at the hotel, guests who wish may optionally join the Magnificent Paris Masterpieces & Seine River Boat (Eiffel Tower & Seine River Boat Tour & Montmartre Artists’ Hill & Sacre Coeur Basilica & Notre Dame Cathedral) tour. (110 Euros) Our first stop on the tour is the Eiffel Tower, the city’s iconic landmark visited by millions of tourists every year. You will have the chance to see Paris from above by going up to the second floor of the Eiffel Tower. We then set out on a boat tour along the Seine River, which divides Paris in two. After seeing the historic monuments on both banks of the river during the boat tour, we take a cable car up Montmartre Hill, the highest point in Paris. At this hill, which bears the traces of important artists such as Pablo Picasso, Henri Toulouse-Lautrec, Dalida, Vincent van Gogh and Jean Marais, the first place we will visit is Sacre Coeur (Church of Vows). After viewing this structure up close, we visit Notre Dame Cathedral, described both as a symbol of French history and an indispensable part of Paris’s skyline, following a break in Place du Tertre, where you can shop and have your portrait drawn. Notre Dame Cathedral was built by order of King Louis VII, who ruled between 1137 and 1180, to demonstrate Paris’s political, economic and cultural power to the world. After seeing this magnificent structure, we take a short photo break. We then transfer to our hotel. Overnight in Paris or the surrounding area.

 

Day 6 Paris – Reims – Metz

After having breakfast at the hotel, we set off for Reims, another beautiful city in France. Reims was the ancient capital of the Gallic people, and its name comes from Remes, dating back to that period. During this magnificent tour in Reims, the most important and largest city in the Champagne Region, which has a history dating back to the Roman Empire and unique Gothic architecture and has witnessed the coronation ceremonies of many French kings, the Reims Cathedral, added to the UNESCO World Heritage List in 1991, The Palace of Tau, the Basilica of Saint Remi, and La Porte de Mars are among the places to be seen. After our tour, we set off for Metz. Metz is a charming city located between Nancy and Luxembourg in France’s Lorraine Region. Ranked 4th in the “European Best Destinations” competition held in 2019, Metz is included on the UNESCO World Heritage Tentative List with its historical, cultural, and architectural features. Day 7 Metz – Luxembourg

After breakfast at the hotel, we set off for Luxembourg. Upon arrival, our Luxembourg city tour begins. Notre Dame Cathedral, the Grand Ducal Palace, the City Hall and Constitution Square are among the places to be seen. Following our tour, guests who wish may join the Magnificent History and Mosaics (Trier & Remich & Schengen) tour, which will be organized as an optional extra. (65 Euros) Our first stop on the tour will be Trier, founded by the Romans in 15 BC and known as the oldest city in Germany. Located within the Moselle Wine Region, between low red sandstone hills covered with vineyards along the Moselle River, one of the tributaries of the Rhine, Trier will offer us a city tour featuring the Porta Nigra, the largest surviving Roman city gate north of the Alps; Roman ruins listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site; St. Peter’s Cathedral and the Church of Our Lady; the Basilica of Constantine; and the house where Karl Marx, the revolutionary thinker and father of scientific socialism, was born. After our visit to Trier, we depart for the town of Remich, a tax haven and the place where you can shop at the lowest prices during our tour. Due to Luxembourg’s low-tax policies and its location near the border, you can purchase products such as chocolate, coffee and alcoholic beverages here at very affordable prices. Finally, we visit Schengen, where the borders of Germany, France and Luxembourg meet and where the free-movement agreement abolishing passport controls between European Union member states was signed. In this village, one of Europe’s important wine regions, you will have the opportunity to taste local wines and see the monument and building where the Schengen Agreement was signed. Day 8: Luxembourg – Cologne – Düsseldorf – Izmir

After breakfast at the hotel, departure for Cologne. Cologne is one of Germany’s most important transportation, cultural, scientific, artistic and commercial centers. During our city tour here, the Gothic Cathedral, the Rhine River and the shopping streets are among the places to be seen. Following our tour, during our city tour in Düsseldorf, one of Germany’s most important cultural, artistic and industrial cities, the revolving restaurant Rheinturm, Schloss Benrath, where Germany’s most important thinkers were educated, the shopping street Königsallee and Horfgarten, with its lush green spaces, are among the places to be seen. Following our tour, transfer to Düsseldorf Airport. After baggage, ticket and passport procedures, departure for Izmir Airport at 18:10 on SunExpress Airlines flight XQ 989. Arrival at 23:25 local time and the end of our tour.
