IMPORTANT NOTES

Our tour program is arranged with a minimum participation of 40 people. If sufficient participation for the trip is not achieved, the final cancellation notice date is 20 days before the tour departure. The canceled tour due to insufficient participation will be communicated to you through your agency.

If there is insufficient participation but the tour is still carried out, English guidance may be provided.

In cases where only category information is provided in the tour program without specifying names, and/or there are optional alternatives for the same destination, the hotel(s) will be notified by your agency 48 hours before the tour departure.

During fairs, congresses, concerts, events, sports tournaments, etc., hotels may be used at distances greater than those specified in km. In such a case, you will be informed by your agency 15 days before the tour departure date.

Triple rooms may be provided depending on hotel availability, and the bed assigned to the 3rd person in such rooms is smaller than standard beds. Triple rooms consist of 1 large bed + 1 extra bed. Since extra beds are folding beds or coach beds, the tour participant is deemed to have accepted the possible tightness in the rooms and the bed type in 3rd person and/or child reservations. Child discounts are valid only for one child staying with 2 adults and matching the relevant age group. No bed guarantee is given for children aged 0–2.

Breakfasts included in the tour program are served at the hotel in accordance with the breakfast culture of the country and generally with a limited menu called continental breakfast, consisting of butter, jam, bread, tea or coffee, and may be served in a separate hall allocated to the group.

The panoramic city tours included in the tour package are tours organized for the general introduction of the cities, lasting at most 2-3 hours, and conducted panoramically from the vehicle with guide narration, not including museum or historical site entrance fees. Panoramic tours, including the other tours specified in the program, are not the responsibility of Lidya Tour if they cannot be carried out because the day and time of the tour coincide with restrictions imposed by local authorities on sightseeing or entry, or due to closed roads because of any event, or when weather conditions make the tour impossible. Some tours may be carried out by public transport or on foot where possible in areas with closed roads or where vehicle access is not permitted.

Extra tours are organized by the local agency we work with, subject to a minimum participation of 10 people. If the required number is not reached, the trips cannot be carried out, or the extra tour prices, content, and vehicle used may vary according to the number of participants. In addition, the days and times of the tours may be changed by the guide depending on the opening/closing status of the museums and historical sites at the destinations and the weather conditions.

Extra tours are optional and not mandatory. Passengers who do not wish to join extra tours organized during the tour are deemed to have accepted waiting at a suitable rest stop along the route. These passengers are dropped off at a roadside rest stop before the extra tour begins and picked up from the same point after the tour is completed.

Due to airline rules, if the outbound flight of round-trip tickets purchased is not used, the return flight is canceled by the airline.

Guests included in the tour without a flight must be present at the tour starting point on their own means and without any delay. Otherwise, they will arrange all their transfers on their own.

Lidya Tour is not responsible for passengers who do not arrive at the specified airport at the times notified in accordance with airline rules for participation in the tour, who do not complete check-in and boarding procedures on time, or who complete check-in and boarding procedures on time but are unable to board the plane, in the event they cannot make the flight. All costs related to obtaining new round-trip plane tickets required for missed-flight guests to join the tour, transfers in the destination region, etc. are their responsibility.

The personal belongings, bags, suitcases, passports/IDs of the people participating in the tour are under their own responsibility, and Lidya Tour is not responsible for forgotten/lost/stolen items. There is no obligation to deliver forgotten items to the country and/or person if found, and the costs incurred during delivery are borne by the owner of the item.

In cases such as illness, loss, or theft, the guide cannot accompany guests individually in such negative situations, as the integrity and continuity of the group is essential for the guide.

When purchasing the tour, it is mandatory to provide the name as in the passport, date of birth, and passport number correctly. Airline tickets are issued according to this information. Any ticket cancellation and change penalties resulting from incorrect information will be collected from you.

Food and beverage and online check-in services may be subject to fees on some airlines.

Seat numbers cannot be guaranteed during the tour when using the bus.

During our tours, the times announced by our guide to the guests are the departure times, the wheel-turning times of the vehicle. Our guide, who is responsible for fairly considering the rights of all our guests, will move the vehicle without waiting at the meeting times. In the event of a delay, our guest must make their own way to the next stop.

In cases where only category information is provided and/or alternative information exists for the same destination, you can learn the hotel(s) where you will stay 48 hours before the tour departure.

Lidya Tour is an intermediary institution between the airline and the passenger and is subject to the Hague Protocol dated 28.09.1955. On scheduled and charter flights, there may be a risk of delay, or the times may change before the current trip and flight. Lidya Tour is obliged to notify these changes as soon as possible. Our passengers have purchased the tour knowing and accepting that flight details may change.

VISA

There is no visa requirement for T.R. citizens. For a visa application, a passport valid for at least 8 months from the end date of travel is sufficient.

Our guests traveling with a T.R. green passport must renew their passports if the passport issuance date is older than 10 years; otherwise, they may not be accepted into the destination country and/or the airline may not operate their flight. In such a case, responsibility lies with the passenger.

The visa information stated in the program applies to citizens of the Republic of Turkey. Guests holding a passport other than that of the Republic of Turkey should obtain visa information from the relevant consulates.

Passport control has the authority to deny you entry into the country. Lidya Tour is not responsible for this situation; responsibility lies with the passenger.

In order to avoid problems with customs police at the border of the country to be visited due to torn, worn, wet and/or similarly damaged passports, such passports must be renewed, and if the country applies a visa to T.R. citizens, the relevant visa must be in the new passport. Otherwise, responsibility lies with the passenger.

Since it is possible that our guests under 18 traveling alone or with only one of their mother or father may be asked by the officer at the country’s entry-exit points for a document showing the mutual consent of the parents, we recommend that our guests under 18 and their parents be sensitive about this matter.
