LISBON–PORTO 2026 TK (LIS–OPO) NEW YEAR’S SPECIAL

1.Day                  ISTANBUL –  LISBON

Meeting with our valued guests in front of the international departures terminal of Istanbul Airport 3 hours before the flight time. Following baggage, ticket and boarding procedures, flying to Lisbon with Turkish Airlines. Upon arrival, a panoramic Lisbon city tour with our private buses waiting in the area. Among the places to be seen are Eduardo VII Park, Rossio Street, considered the heart of the city, the famous Liberdade Square, the Tagus River, São Jorge Castle, Alfama District, Alcantara District, Belem Tower, from where sailors were bid farewell for their voyages of discovery, the Monument to the Discoveries in Belem and Jeronimus Monastery, completing our panoramic city tour. After the tour, transfer to our hotel and free time. Guests who wish may spend their evening by joining the optionally organized Fado Night’ (70 Euros without dinner, 95 Euros with dinner). Overnight at our hotel.

                               2.Day                 LISBON

Free time after breakfast. Guests who wish may join our guide’s optional Sintra & Cascais & Estoril & Cabo  de Roca Tour’ (85€ per person). After seeing the Sintra Royal Palace, the most important summer palace of the Portuguese monarchy, panoramically, the old fishermen’s quarters of the towns, as well as Cascais and the Estoril coast, where summer houses are located, are among the places to be seen. Our final stop is Cabo da Roca, the westernmost point of the European continent. After the tour, transfer to our hotel.  Overnight at our hotel.

                               3.Day                 LISBON – PORTO

After breakfast, we set off towards Porto. Guests who wish may join our guide’s optional tour along the route Obidos & Nazare & Fatima Tour’ (60€ per person). We visit the medieval heritage city of Obidos, whose 12th-century walls are still standing and which has managed to preserve its historical texture. We then head towards the ocean coast and the fishing town of Nazare, famous for its beach. It is impossible not to be impressed by the cliffs of Nazare, where the famous explorer Vasco da Gama came to pray before embarking on long sea voyages. After Nazare, we set off towards Fatima. This place, where the Virgin Mary appeared to three young shepherds in 1917 and gave them three secrets, is considered one of the largest pilgrimage and worship centers of Christianity. After our tour, we depart for Porto. Upon arrival, the places to be seen on the panoramic Porto city tour are the historic buildings of the Rieira district overlooking the Douro River' , Bolsa Palace, the Cathedral (Porto Cathedral), House Of The Prince, Sao Francisco Church, Sao Bento train station, Ponte d Lous I Bridge and the Douro River. Guests who wish may join our guide’s optional Porto Boat Tour’ (35€ per person). After having the opportunity to see this magnificent city from the river and proceeding as far as the Ocean, we end our tour. After the tour, transfer to our hotel and overnight at our hotel. 

                        4.Day                 PORTO

Free time after breakfast. Guests who wish may join the optional Braga & Guimares Tour (80€ per person). Our first stop is Braga, one of Portugal’s important cities. In Braga, we see one of the important sacred sites, the ’Church of Bom Jesus of the Mountains’ (Bom Jesus Do Monte). This magnificent structure, reached by climbing 650 steps, is one of the finest examples of northern Portugal’s granite architecture. On holy days, devout people climb these steps on their knees to reach the sacred site. After Braga, we head to Guimares, the former capital of Portugal. Protected by UNESCO, Guimares is a very charming city with its typical houses and squares. After seeing Guimares, we head to Porto along the scenic road on the ocean coast. Upon arrival, transfer to the hotel and free time. Guests who wish may join our guide’s optional Porto by Night and Light Show Tour’ (70 Euros). The most fascinating moment of this tour, where we will have the opportunity to see Porto’s most iconic sights from the daytime illuminated at night, will be the light show accompanied by music inside Clerigos Church during the evening hours after dark. We recommend that you do not miss this rarely performed show in the world. After our tour, transfer to our hotel. Overnight at our hotel.

                        5.Day   PORTO

After breakfast, we transfer to the airport. Following ticket and customs procedures, our flight to Istanbul begins with Turkish Airlines’ scheduled service. Our tour ends upon arrival in Istanbul.
