IMPORTANT NOTES

 Our tour program is arranged with a minimum participation requirement of 40 people. If sufficient participation is not achieved for the trip, the final cancellation notice date by the agency is 21 days before the tour departure. The tour canceled due to insufficient participation will be notified to you through your agency.

 In cases where only category information is provided without specifying names in the tour program and/or where options are available for the same destination, the hotel(s) will be announced by your agency 48 hours before the tour departure.

 During periods such as fairs, congresses, concerts, events, sports tournaments, etc., hotels may be used at a greater distance than the stated km or in a different city. In such a case, you will be informed by your agency 48 hours before the tour departure.

 The panoramic city tours included in the tour package are tours of no more than 2-3 hours, arranged for a general introduction to the cities and conducted panoramically with guide commentary only from the vehicle, without museum or archaeological site entries. Lidya Tour is not responsible for the inability to carry out the aforementioned tours if, on the day and time corresponding to the tour, they are not permitted to be visited or entered by local authorities, or if they cannot take place due to any event, road closures, or if weather conditions make the tour impossible. Some tours may be conducted by public transport or on foot where roads are closed or vehicle entry is not permitted, within the limits of possibility.

 Triple rooms may be provided depending on hotel availability, and the bed assigned to the 3rd person in such rooms is smaller than standard beds. Triple rooms consist of 1 large bed + 1 extra bed. Since extra beds are folding beds or coach beds, the tour participant, in 3rd person and/or child reservations, is deemed to have accepted the possible cramped conditions in the rooms and the bed type. Child discounts are valid for only one child staying with 2 adults, provided the child falls within the relevant age group. No bed guarantee is provided in hotels for children aged 0-2.

 Breakfasts included in the tour program are served at the hotel in accordance with the breakfast culture of the country visited and are generally a limited menu called continental breakfast, consisting of butter, jam, bread, tea, or coffee, and may be served in a separate hall allocated to the group.

 Since tour flights are group tickets, flight times may change. You may confirm the current flight details with your agency. Updated times will be communicated by your agency with the tour information.

 It is necessary to confirm the tour flight times before purchasing a domestic flight. If the guest purchased the domestic connecting flight from a different product provider independent of the agency, they cannot request any refund from the agency in the event of tour cancellation by the agency or schedule changes. The guest expressly accepts in advance any material or moral losses that may arise due to tour cancellation or changes when purchasing the tour. Lidya Tour cannot be held responsible for this situation.

 According to airline rules, if the outbound flight of tickets purchased as round-trip is not used, the return flight is canceled by the airline.

 Our guests participating in the tour without flights must be present at the tour starting point on their own means and without any delay. Otherwise, they will need to arrange all their transfers on their own.

 Lidya Tour is not responsible if guests who do not arrive at the specified airport at the times announced in accordance with airline rules, who do not complete check-in and boarding procedures on time, or who complete check-in and boarding procedures on time but cannot board the plane, are unable to complete the flight. Any expenses arising from obtaining new round-trip airline tickets required for guests who miss the plane to join the tour and from transfers in the destination area, etc., will be borne by them.

 The personal belongings, bags, suitcases, passports/IDs of the people participating in the tour are under their own responsibility, and Lidya Tour is not responsible for forgotten/lost/stolen items. In the event that forgotten items are found, there is no obligation to deliver them to the country and/or person, and the expenses incurred during delivery are the responsibility of the owner of the item.

 In cases such as illness or lost/stolen items, since the integrity and continuity of the group are essential for the guide, the guide cannot accompany guests individually in such adverse situations.

 When purchasing the tour, it is mandatory to provide the name as stated in the passport, date of birth, and passport number correctly. Airline tickets are issued according to this information. Cancellation and change penalties for tickets arising from incorrect information will be charged to you.

 In some airlines, food and beverage services and online check-in may be subject to a fee.

 During the tour, seat numbers on the bus cannot be guaranteed.

 During our tours, the times announced by our guide to the guests are the departure times, the time the vehicle wheels start turning. Our guide, who is responsible for protecting the rights of all our guests equally, will depart without waiting at the meeting times. In case of delay, our guest must make their own way to the next stop.

 Extra tours are organized by the local agency we work with, with a minimum participation of 20 people. If sufficient numbers are not reached, the excursions cannot be carried out, or the prices, content, and vehicles used for extra excursions may vary according to the number of participants. In addition, the days and times of tours may be changed by the guide depending on the opening/closing status of museums and archaeological sites at the destinations and weather conditions. Different guides may accompany our guests during extra tours.

 In our classic packages, where extra tours are not included, extra tours are optional and not mandatory. Passengers who do not wish to join the extra tours organized during the tour are deemed to have accepted waiting at a suitable rest stop along the way. These passengers will be dropped off at a roadside rest stop before the extra tour starts and picked up from the same point after the tour is completed.

 In programs where extra tours are included, it is mandatory to pay the museum & archaeological site entrance fees to the guide during the tour.

 The participant accepts in advance that they will join the tours to be organized as stated in the tour program, will not disrupt the program, and will additionally pay the amount previously announced in the tour program to the tour officer during the trip for expenses such as local guide, museum & archaeological site entrance fees, city taxes, and audio system with headphones if any. The participant has been fully and completely informed about this matter.

 Lidya Tour is an intermediary institution between the airline and the passenger and is subject to the Hague Protocol dated 28.09.1955. There may be a risk of delay on scheduled and charter flights, or times may change before the current trip and flight. Lidya Tour is obliged to inform these changes as soon as possible. Our passengers have purchased the tour knowing and accepting that flight details may change.

VISA

 There is a visa requirement for Turkish Republic citizens. For a visa application, you must apply with a passport valid for at least 6 months from the end date of travel and the documents listed in the “Documents Required for Visa” list.

 The visa must be obtained from the first country of entry on the trip or from the country where the longest stay will be made.

 For holders of green passports, there is no visa requirement; a passport valid for at least 6 months from the end date of travel is sufficient.

 The visa information stated in the program is the information applicable to citizens of the Republic of Turkey. Guests holding a passport other than that of the Republic of Turkey must obtain visa information from the relevant consulates.

 Obtaining a visa does not mean that entry to the country is guaranteed; the passport police have the authority to refuse you entry. Lidya Tour is not responsible for this situation; responsibility belongs to the passenger.

 In order to avoid problems with customs police at the border of the country to be visited due to passports that are torn, worn, wet and/or have similar damage(s), the passports obtained must be renewed, and if it is a country that requires visas for Turkish Republic citizens, the relevant visa must be in the new passport. Otherwise, responsibility belongs to the passenger.

 Since there is a possibility that our guests under 18 traveling alone or with only one of their mother or father may be asked by the officer at the country’s entry/exit to present a document showing the mutual consent of the parents, we recommend that our guests under 18 and their parents pay attention to this matter.
