DAY 1 ISTANBUL AIRPORT – MILAN – GENOA
After meeting at Istanbul Airport international terminal at 04:30, we complete our check-in procedures and then depart for Milan at 06:50 on Turkish Airlines flight TK1873. After arriving in Milan at 08:45 local time, we transfer to Genoa port, where our MSC SEAVIEW ship is waiting, with our private vehicle. After ship check-in and baggage procedures, we settle into our cabins and then have free time. After boarding, our guide will hold a meeting introducing the ship and our tours; afterwards you can enjoy the ship until dinner. Our ship will depart from the port at 16:00. Dinner and overnight on board.
DAY 2 NAPLES
Our ship will dock at Naples port at 13:00 in the morning. Guests who wish may join the extra “Sorrento & Capri Tour (Full Day)” organized by their guide. Sorrento is the birthplace of the poet Torquato Tasso, the land of colors, the homeland of mermaids, and the city of lemon trees and oranges. Having also hosted the famous Soviet writer Maxim Gorky in the 1920s, Sorrento is a charming southern city where goodness and hospitality come together and are passed down from generation to generation. After our Sorrento tour, we head to Capri. After the journey by fast ferry, we arrive on the island of Capri. Places to see in Capri include the Capri town above the harbor and the “Anacapri” town at the top of the hill, the Augustus Gardens, and the shopping street. Those who wish can take the cable car from Anacapri to the island’s highest point and have the chance to enjoy a magnificent view. After the tour, we return to our ship. Our ship will leave the port at 21:00. Dinner and overnight on board.
DAY 3 PALERMO
Our ship will dock at Palermo port at 09:00 in the morning. After breakfast, free time for shopping and personal activities. Guests who wish may join the “Palermo & Cefalu Tour” organized extra by our guide. After arriving in Palermo, the capital of Sicily, we head to Cefalu, one of the most beautiful holiday resorts of Palermo and Sicily. With its medieval structures, the town is a place where you can both shop and fully feel the spirit of Sicily. During our tour, the Norman cathedral and the ancient laundry are among the places we will visit. After free time, we return to Palermo and take a tour introducing the city. Then we visit Monreale Monastery. We see the mosaic decoration of a total of 6340 m2 depicting scenes from the Old and New Testaments. Then we return to the ship. Our ship will depart from the port at 17:00 in the evening. Dinner and overnight on board.
DAY 4 VALLETTA
Our ship will dock at Valletta port at 09:00 in the morning. After breakfast, free time for personal activities. Guests who wish may join our “Mosta & Valletta & Mdina & Marsaxlokk tour” organized extra by our guide. Our first stop is Mosta. On this tour, we visit the Santa Maria Assunta Basilica, which has the third largest dome in Europe. The interior paintings of this massive basilica, whose dome has an outer diameter of 56.2 meters, were made especially by painter Giuseppe Cali. We will see the replica of the 200 kg bomb that was dropped by German Nazi planes during World War II in 1942, pierced the dome and got lodged in the church floor without exploding, and we will receive information about the church’s interior and exterior architecture. Then we visit Mdina, Malta’s former capital, the natural set where many scenes of the famous series Game of Thrones were filmed. While walking through the narrow streets of this medieval city known as the Silent City, we will see the magnificent St. Paul’s Cathedral, Falson Mansion built in the 13th century by the Falson family, one of Malta’s noble families, the Carmelite Monastery built in Baroque style in the 17th century, Vilhena Palace, and the old houses of Mdina. Afterwards, we continue our tour by visiting the fishing village called Marsaxlokk. You should not miss the view it offers of small, charming fishing boats called luzzu, which have a color and design unique to Malta. At the same time, in this charming fishing village with an open market, we will have free time so that those who wish can have lunch in local restaurants offering menus of fresh fish and seafood. After our free time, we will set off towards Valletta. We will carry out our Valletta city tour. Valetta was chosen as the European Capital of Culture for 2018 by the Council of Ministers of the European Union. During our tour, we will have the opportunity to see the magnificently walled city of Valetta from the outside. After our bus tour, we will explore the city by walking through the lively streets of the capital Valletta with our guide. Our first stop will be the Barracca Gardens, built on the upper section of the defense walls surrounding this magnificent city. These gardens, built by the Knights of St. John, also offer a magnificent view of the Grand Harbour and the three old walled cities. At the end of our tour, we return to our ship. Our ship will depart from the port at 17:00. Dinner and overnight on board.
DAY 5 AT SEA
On this day spent cruising at sea, our ship will offer you many options. Those who wish can make use of the ship’s open and covered pools, jacuzzis, and sunbathing areas. Those who want can shop at duty-free stores, try their luck at the casino, or enjoy the various music and entertainment performed in dozens of bars. Different meal options will also be waiting for you طوال the day. Dinner and overnight on board.
DAY 6 BARCELONA
Our ship will dock at Barcelona port at 08:00 in the morning. . After breakfast, free time for personal activities. Guests who wish set off for the “Barcelona City Tour” organized extra by our guide. Our city tour in Barcelona, one of Europe’s most beautiful metropolises, will begin with our private bus waiting for us at the port. La Rambla Street, Cristoforo Colombo Monument, Maremagnum Artificial Port, Barceloneta Beach, the Olympic district and port, Catalunya Square, Paseu de Gracia street where Gaudi transformed his houses into a street museum, and his most important work, Sagrada Familia, are among the places we will see. During our tour, we will go up Montjuic hill and take landscape photos. After free time for shopping, we will return to our ship. Our ship will depart from the port at 18:00. Dinner and overnight on board.
DAY 7 MARSEILLE / AIX EN PROVANCE
Our ship will dock at Marseille port at 08:00 in the morning. After breakfast, free time for personal activities. Guests who wish set off for the “Marseille City Tour & Aix En Provance Tour” organized extra by our guide. In Marseille, an important maritime city, we will first begin our tour by visiting the “Notre Dame de la Garde Cathedral” located on a high hill. After this visit, the Longchamps Fountain, Saint Charles train station, old town, Hotel de Ville, and the marina area are some of the places to be seen. Then we will go to Aix en Provence, located 40 minutes from Marseille. It will begin with the famous St. Saviour’s Cathedral from the 12th century, with its Romanesque facade and covered arched passage. Afterwards, during the pleasant walk we will take in the old part of the city, you will see the ancient inns here and the Mazarino district, designed in the 17th century by the brother of Cardinal Mazarino. Our ship will depart from the port at 16:00. Dinner and overnight on board.
DAY 8 GENOA – MILAN – ISTANBUL AIRPORT
Our ship will dock at Genoa port at 07:00 in the morning. After breakfast, we complete our disembarkation procedures and then leave the ship. With our private vehicle waiting for us at the port, we head to Milan Airport. After arriving at the airport, following check-in and passport procedures, we depart for Istanbul at 19:25 on Turkish Airlines flight TK1816. Arrival at Istanbul Airport at 23:25 local time. End of our tour.
