DAY 1 ISTANBUL – HURGHADA – LUXOR
At the designated time, we meet in front of the Pegasus Airlines counter at the International Terminal of Istanbul Sabiha Gökçen Airport. Following check-in and passport procedures, we depart for Hurghada on Pegasus Airlines’ scheduled flight. Upon arrival at Hurghada International Airport, we depart for Luxor in our private vehicle waiting for us at the airport. Following our arrival, we depart from the hotel for the Luxor city tour. During our panoramic city tour, the Avenue of Sphinxes, Luxor Bazaar and the Mummification Museum are among the places to be seen panoramically. After our tour, we depart for our river cruise ship. Free time upon arrival. Guests who wish may join the Luxor and Karnak Temple Tour (90 Euros), which our guide will organize as an extra. During our tour, we set out to see the Karnak Temple, which is on the UNESCO World Heritage List and is the largest ancient structure ever built in the world. Surrounded by 20-meter-high mud-brick walls and containing many temples, this magnificent structure provides important information about Egypt’s history and mythology. You will feel fascinated while visiting this magnificent structure, whose construction took more than 2,000 years and to which each pharaoh made more additions than the previous pharaoh. After visiting Karnak Temple, we will visit Luxor Temple, built in Luxor, home to the world’s largest open-air museum, by the 9th Pharaoh in the name of Amun, the greatest of the ancient Egyptian gods. Following the temple visit, which resembles an open-air museum, we depart for our river cruise ship. Overnight on our river cruise ship.
DAY 2 LUXOR – EDFU
Free time after breakfast. Guests who wish may join the Luxor Balloon Tour (150 Euros), which our guide will organize as an optional activity. We depart from our river cruise ship with the first light of day, and after this tour, during which you can observe many temples in Luxor and even the Valley of the Kings from above by hot-air balloon, free time will be given. Guests who wish may join the Valley of the Kings & Hatshepsut Tour & Colossi of Memnon (100 Euros), which our guide will organize as an extra. The Valley of the Kings, where magnificent tombs were carved into the desert rocks in the ancient Egyptian civilization and filled with treasures for the pharaohs’ afterlife, will be our first point of visit. We will also visit the tomb of King Tutankhamun here. We will then visit the Temple of Hatshepsut, one of the most striking monuments in Egypt. While walking through the temple’s large courtyards and admiring the intricate hieroglyphic decorations, we will also learn about Queen Hatshepsut, Egypt’s famous female ruler who posed as a man in order to gain the throne. We will then visit the Colossi of Memnon, two monumental statues representing Amenhotep III of Egypt’s 18th Dynasty (1386-1353 BC). These statues are located west of the modern city of Luxor and face east toward the Nile River. Following our tour, we return to our ship and have lunch. Our ship then departs for Edfu. Lunch, dinner and overnight on our ship.
DAY 3 EDFU – KOM OMBO – ASWAN
Free time after breakfast. Guests who wish may join the Edfu & Kom Ombo Temple Tour (90 Euros), which our guide will organize as an extra. The Temple of Edfu was built for the falcon-headed god Horus according to traditional Egyptian temple architecture. It is one of the best-preserved temples to have survived to the present day. At the end of the tour, we return to our ship and have lunch on board. Meanwhile, our Deluxe River Cruise Ship continues sailing toward Kom Ombo. Upon arrival in Kom Ombo, we will visit the Temple of Kom Ombo, built in the 2nd century BC during the Ptolemaic Dynasty. It is the only temple in history shared by two gods; one side is dedicated to the crocodile god Sobek and the other to the falcon god Haroeris. The temple has been damaged over the centuries as a result of the flooding of the Nile River. Return to our ship after the tour. Our ship departs for Aswan. Lunch, dinner and overnight on our ship.
DAY 4 ASWAN
Free time after breakfast. Guests who wish may join the Abu Simbel Tour with lunch (100 Euros), which our guide will organize as an extra. During our tour, we visit the Abu Simbel Temple, where one of the most important temple relocation operations in world history was carried out and which is protected under the UNESCO World Heritage List. After visiting this region, located in Egypt’s southernmost area near Sudan and considered one of the places in Egypt that should be visited most after the Pyramids, we depart for a local restaurant for lunch. Following our tour, transfer to the ship and free time. Dinner and overnight on our ship.
DAY 5 ASWAN – CAIRO
Free time after breakfast. Guests who wish may join the Nubian Village Tour (60 Euros), which our guide will organize as an extra. During this tour, we will observe the lifestyle of the local people of the Aswan region and will even be served refreshments in a home in a local neighborhood. During our visit to a crocodile farm, we will also have the opportunity to see a Nile crocodile up close and even take a picture with it. Following our tour, transfer to Aswan Airport. Flight to Cairo with a domestic airline. Upon our arrival in Cairo, we begin our panoramic city tour . During our tour, the Old City center, Mohamed Ali Mosque, Sadat’s Tomb, Baron Palace, El Tahrir Square, the city center extending along the Nile and Khan El Khalili Bazaar are among the places we will see. Free time after our tour. Following our tour, transfer to our hotel. Dinner and overnight at our hotel.
DAY 6 CAIRO
Free time after breakfast. Guests who wish may join the New Cairo Museum Tour (80 Euros), which our guide will organize as an extra. After visiting this magnificent museum, opened to visitors in 2024 and housing more than 100,000 historical artifacts from the ancient Egyptian period, free time will be given. Guests who wish may join the evening dinner and entertainment Nile River Cruise Tour (60 Euros), which our guide will organize as an optional activity. On our boat, where we will have the opportunity to see Cairo illuminated along the Nile River, one of the longest rivers in the world that divides Cairo in two and gives life to Egypt, we will both enjoy ourselves and have dinner. Following our tour, we will transfer to our hotel. Overnight at our hotel.
DAY 7 CAIRO – ISTANBUL
Free time after breakfast. (Check-out from the hotel will take place at 11:00.)Guests who wish may join the Giza Pyramids & Sphinx Tour (90 Euros), which our guide will organize as an extra. We will visit the Giza Pyramids, which include the Pyramid of Cheops, one of the 7 Wonders of the World, and the Sphinxes, which were considered sacred in ancient Egyptian mythology and are believed to have been built to protect the pharaohs’ tombs and pyramids by using their magical powers. Afterwards, transfer to the airport at the time designated by our guide.
DAY 8 CAIRO – ISTANBUL
Following completion of baggage and check-in procedures, departure for Istanbul on Pegasus Airlines’ scheduled flight. Arrival in Istanbul and end of our tour.
