IMPORTANT NOTES
Our tour program is arranged with a minimum participation of 40 people. If sufficient participation is not achieved for the trip, the agency’s final cancellation notification date is 21 days before the tour departure. Tours canceled due to insufficient participation will be notified to you through your agency.
In cases where only category information is provided in the tour program without specifying names and/or there are optional hotels for the same destination, the hotel(s) will be announced by your agency 48 hours before departure.
During periods such as fairs, congresses, concerts, events, sports tournaments, etc., hotels may be used at distances greater than the stated kilometers or in a different city. In such a case, you will be informed by your agency 48 hours before departure.
Panoramic city tours included in the tour package are tours organized for the general introduction of cities, lasting at most 2-3 hours, and conducted only as a panoramic tour with guide commentary from inside the vehicle, without museum or archaeological site entrance fees. Lidya Tour is not responsible if, including panoramic tours and other tours specified in the program, the tour cannot be carried out on the relevant day and time due to restrictions by local authorities, closed roads, or if visiting/entering is not permitted, or if weather conditions make the tour impossible. Some tours may, where possible, be conducted by public transport or on foot in areas with closed roads or where vehicle access is not permitted.
Triple rooms may be provided depending on hotel availability, and in such rooms the bed assigned to the 3rd person is smaller than standard beds. Triple rooms consist of 1 large bed + 1 extra bed. Since extra beds are folding or coach beds, the tour participant is deemed to have accepted the possible cramped conditions in the room and the bed type in 3rd person and/or child reservations. Child discounts are valid only for a single child staying with 2 adults and belonging to the relevant age group. Beds are not guaranteed in hotels for children aged 0-2.
Breakfasts included in the tour program are served according to the breakfast culture of the country visited and generally with a limited menu called continental breakfast, consisting of butter, jam, bread, tea or coffee, and may be served in a separate hall assigned to the group.
Since tour flights are group tickets, flight times may change. You can confirm the current flight details with your agency. Current times will be communicated by your agency with the tour information.
Flight times for the tour must be confirmed before purchasing domestic flights. If the guest purchased the domestic connection flight from a different product provider independent of the agency, they cannot request any refund from the agency in the event of cancellation by the agency or schedule changes. The guest accepts in advance any financial and moral losses that may arise due to tour cancellation or changes when purchasing the tour. Lidya Tour cannot be held responsible for this situation.
In accordance with airline rules; if the outbound flight of tickets purchased as round-trip is not used, the return flight is canceled by the airline.
Guests joining the tour without flights must be present at the tour starting point on their own means and without any delay. Otherwise, they will have to arrange all transfers themselves.
Lidya Tour is not responsible for guests who do not arrive at the specified airport at the times announced in accordance with airline rules for tour participation, who do not complete check-in and boarding on time, or who complete check-in and boarding on time but are unable to board the plane and therefore cannot take the flight. All expenses related to obtaining new round-trip airline tickets necessary for guests who miss the plane to join the tour, and transfers in the destination region, etc., will be borne by them.
The personal belongings, bags, suitcases, passports/IDs of the participants are under their own responsibility, and Lidya Tour is not responsible for forgotten/lost/stolen items. In the event that forgotten items are found, there is no obligation to deliver them to the country and/or person, and any expenses incurred during delivery are the responsibility of the owner of the item.
In cases such as illness or loss/theft, since the integrity and continuity of the group are essential for the guide, the guide cannot accompany guests individually in such adverse situations.
When purchasing the tour, it is mandatory to provide the passport name, date of birth, and passport number correctly. Airline tickets are issued based on this information. Cancellation and change penalty fees for tickets arising from incorrect information will be collected from you.
On some airlines, food and beverage services and online check-in may be subject to a fee.
During the tour, seat numbers on the bus cannot be guaranteed.
During our tours, the times announced by our guide to the guests are the departure times, the time the vehicle starts moving. Our guide, who is responsible for treating all our guests equally, will move the vehicle without any waiting at the meeting times. In such a case, our guest who is late will have to reach the next stop on their own means.
Extra tours are organized by the local agency we use with a minimum participation requirement of 20 people. If the required number is not reached, the excursions cannot be carried out, or the extra excursion prices, content, and the vehicle to be used may vary depending on the number of participants. In addition, the days and times of the tours may be changed by the guide according to the open/closed status of museums and archaeological sites at the destinations and weather conditions. During extra tours, a different guide may accompany our guests.
In our classic packages where extra tours are not included, extra tours are optional and not mandatory. Passengers who do not wish to join extra tours arranged during the tour are deemed to have accepted waiting at a suitable rest stop along the route. These passengers are dropped off at a roadside rest area before the extra tour begins and picked up from the same point after the tour is completed.
In programs where extra tours are included, it is mandatory to pay museum & archaeological site entrance fees to your agency during booking or to the guide during the tour.
The participant agrees in advance that they will join the tours scheduled in the tour program and will not disrupt the program, and accordingly will separately pay to the tour representative during the trip the amount previously announced in the tour program for expenses such as local guide, museum & archaeological site entrance fees, city taxes, and if applicable headphone audio system fees. The participant has been fully and completely informed on this matter.
Lidya Tour is an intermediary institution between the airline and the passenger and is subject to the 28.09.1955 Hague Protocol. The visa information stated in the program applies to citizens of the Republic of Turkey. Guests holding passports other than the Republic of Turkey should obtain visa information from the relevant consulates.
Having a visa does not mean that entry into the country is guaranteed; the passport police have the authority to refuse entry. Lidya Tour is not responsible for this situation; responsibility belongs to the passenger.
In order to avoid problems with customs police at the border crossing of the country to be visited due to torn, worn, wet and/or similarly damaged passports; replaced passports must be renewed and, if the country applies a visa to Turkish citizens, the relevant visa must be in the new passport. Otherwise, responsibility belongs to the passenger.
Since children under 18 traveling alone or with only one parent may be asked by the police officer at the country’s entry/exit points to present a document showing the mutual consent of the parents, we recommend that our guests under 18 and their parents be sensitive about this matter.
