Day 1 Izmir-Skopje
Meeting in front of the Pegasus desk at Izmir Airport International Departures Terminal. After ticket, baggage, and passport procedures, departure to Skopje at 19:45 with Pegasus Airlines flight PC1571. Arrival in Skopje at 20:00 local time. After baggage, passport, and customs procedures, we transfer to our hotel in Skopje by private vehicle. Overnight at our hotel.

Day 2 Skopje – Tetova (Kalkandelen) – Bitola (Manastır)-Resne- Ohrid
After breakfast at our hotel, we visit the Alaca Mosque in the city of Kalkandelen (Tetova), which has a rare architecture in the Balkans. Then, crossing the Mavrovo mountains, we arrive in Bitola. During our city tour of Manastır (Bitola), we visit the Turkish Bazaar, the Bedesten, the Ishak Mosque, the Yeni Mosque, the Haydar Kadi Mosque, and the Military School where Atatürk graduated, as well as the Atatürk Museum, where you will experience the most emotional moments of the tour. Then we depart for Resne. In Resne, we see the palace of Resneli Niyazi, who became famous as one of the three most renowned figures of the Committee of Union and Progress and for his contributions in the Turkish-Greek War, and then crossing the Mavrovo mountains we reach Ohrid, a Mediterranean-style town in the Balkans. We begin our tour introducing Ohrid with the Harbor Square, mentioning the statues we will see there, and continue with a walk through the district where the historic Ohrid houses used in the filming of Elveda Rumeli are located, seeing the historic Ottoman houses, the Hagia Sophia Church, and ending with the presentation of the famous Ohrid Pearl, the city’s greatest symbol. After our tour, we have free time. After free time, transfer to our hotel. Overnight at our hotel.

Day 3 Ohrid – Sveti Naum – Tirana – Shkodër
After breakfast on our tour, we first arrive at St. Naum with a journey of about 1 hour amid magnificent scenery. We visit the source where Lake Ohrid is born. The exquisite view here is truly breathtaking.After our tour, we leave Ohrid and cross into Albania to arrive in Tirana via Elbasan. We will take a panoramic tour introducing this beautiful city, which was caught between wars throughout the 20th century, lived under Enver Hoxha's dictatorship for 40 years, is a mountainous Balkan country, was developed by Suleyman Pasha in 1614, and became the capital of Albania in 1920. During our tour, some of the places we will see are the Et'hem Bey Mosque, the historic Clock Tower, the National Museum, the Opera and Ballet Building, the Parliament and Prime Ministry Buildings, the Presidential Palace, the Mother Teresa Statue, and Skanderbeg Square. After our Tirana tour, short free time. After meeting, arrival at the accommodation point in the Shkodër region. Overnight at our hotel.

Day 4 Shkodër – Budva – Kotor – Medjugorje
After breakfast at our hotel, we cross into Montenegro, one of the youngest states in the world. Our first stop is a break where, depending on parking availability, we can see the magnificent St. Stefan from above, which is today a holiday destination for the jet set after the expropriation of an island that once served as a fishing settlement and its later sale to a Singaporean multimillionaire. We continue along the extraordinary scenic roads on the Adriatic coast and after seeing Budva panoramically, our next stop is Kotor, an important historical and natural paradise and a tourist attraction. Here, on a walking tour in Stari Grad (Old Town-Castle), you will get to know this charming town. After our Kotor tour, we head to the city where we will stay. Accommodation in Medjugorje, Trebinje, or surrounding areas. Overnight at our hotel.

Day 5 Medjugorje – Mostar –Blagaj - Konjic – Sarajevo
After breakfast at our hotel, we head to historic Mostar. Upon arrival in Mostar, in our walking city tour we first see the Mostar Bridge. (The bridge, built by Architect Hayreddin in 1557, is a masterpiece of Ottoman architecture.) The bridge was destroyed by Croatian artillery during the war in 1992, but it was reopened in 2004 with major contributions from the Republic of Turkey. We stroll through the old city bazaar. After free time, we head to Blagaj, the land of dervishes. After our Blagaj visits, we depart for the capital Sarajevo. We stop in Konjic (Konyitz) to see the famous Konjic bridge, restored by Turkey and dating from the Ottoman period to the present, and to enjoy coffee by the Neretva River.After our stop, we arrive in the capital Sarajevo. We take a walk in Baščaršija, the most distinguished bazaar in Europe. In our tour introducing this cultural city, we start with the Sarajevo Sebilj Fountain, which has become almost a symbol of the Bazaar, then continue to see Morica Han, one of the city’s most authentic spots. Next, we visit the Gazi Husrev Bey Mosque, a relative of Suleiman the Magnificent. As our tour continues, we see the Clock Tower, the famous fountain that has become a ritual, and the meeting point of cultures; this avenue is also where the symbolic Eternal Flame monument is located. Then we have free time; those who wish can photograph the Latin Bridge, where World War I began. After our tour and free time, transfer to our hotel. Overnight at our hotel.

Day 6 Sarajevo – Vrelo Bosna – Belgrade
After breakfast, we visit Vrelo Bosne, Sarajevo’s largest national park, famous for its perfect walking trails, carriage rides, and authentic coffee houses, located on the edge of Mount Igman, where the source of the Bosna River is also found, and arranged at the order of Tito. After free time, departure for Belgrade. After our journey, we begin our city tour of Belgrade, one of the oldest cities in Europe and a new symbol of vitality and movement, with Knez Mihailova Street, the city’s most elegant avenue. Then we head to Belgrade Fortress, one of the supply centers of the Ottoman fleet, where Fatih Sultan Mehmed was wounded for its sake but whose conquest belonged to Suleiman the Magnificent. Inside the fortress, we conclude our tour at the terrace area where we will see the Key Handover Monument, the French Monument, Istanbul Gate, the Military Museum, the Damat Ali Pasha Tomb, Sokollu Fountain, and the meeting point of the Danube and Sava rivers, offering the city’s most beautiful view. After our tour, we have free time. Accommodation at our hotel in Belgrade.

Day 7 Belgrade – Skopje
After breakfast, depart for Skopje, the capital of Macedonia. We begin our tour introducing this city, where two different cultures are separated by the famous Vardar River, with the Macedonian side, which we can call the land of statues. Among the statues we will first see is the colossal Alexander the Great statue. Then, crossing the historic Skopje Stone Bridge built over the Vardar River, we experience how cultures change in an instant and move on to the Skopje Turkish Bazaar, one of the most distinguished bazaars of the Ottoman Balkans. Mentioning the statues at the entrance of the bazaar, we begin our bazaar tour with the historic Davut Pasha Bath, then conclude by seeing Kapan Han, one of the most important structures of Ottoman bazaar organization, and the Murat Pasha Mosque, which managed to survive despite earthquakes. After our visits, one hour of free time will be given for shopping in the Turkish Bazaar. Among what you can buy are Šuška peppers, Strumica peanuts, and traditional sandals. At the end of our tour, transfer to our hotel and check into the rooms. Overnight at our hotel.

Day 8 Skopje – Kosovo (Prizren) – Matka Canyon – Izmir
After breakfast at our hotel we depart for Kosovo, one of the youngest states in the world, where the vast majority of the population consists of Muslim Albanians. We will spend an emotional day on the former Ottoman lands where a human tragedy occurred very recently. First, we visit the Tomb of Murad Hüdavendigar. After our visit, we will take a short bus ride to Prizren. In Prizren, perhaps one of the cutest cities in the Balkans, during our panoramic tour we will see the Turkish Bath from the 17th century, the Sinan Pasha Mosque built in 1615, and Prizren Fortress among the places to be seen. At the end of the tour and free time, we head to Matka Canyon, known for its unique beauty near Skopje. After our nature walk here, guests who wish may take a canyon boat tour during free time with the canyon’s famous boats. After free time, we arrive at Skopje Airport. Need to Know
INFORMATION
- During the tour, to be able to shop and spend in all the countries included in the program, it is sufficient to have Euros with us. In regions where the local currency is used, the guide will assist with currency exchange.
- During the trip, comfortable walking shoes or sneakers should be preferred. It is advisable to bring a cardigan or similar clothing for the evening.
- On our tours, daily seat rotation (seat changes) is applied in the seating plan, and no fixed seat or front seat guarantee is given. Seat changes are organized by the vehicle guide.
- When entering Turkey from abroad, there is a minimum 3-day accommodation requirement in order to bring goods (alcohol, cigarettes, etc.).

- On the tour program, the guides may make changes to the flow of the program depending on weather and road conditions, provided that all places specified in the program are shown.
-Our tour program is organized with a minimum participation of 25 people. If sufficient participation is not achieved for the trip, the final cancellation notice date is 20 days before the tour departure. The tour canceled due to insufficient participation will be notified by Lidya Tour.
-In cases where only category information is provided without specifying a name in the tour program and/or options are available for the same destination, the hotel(s) will be announced by Lidya Tour 2 days before the tour departure.
-During fairs, congresses, concerts, events, sports tournaments, etc., hotels may be used at distances greater than the specified km’s. In such a case, information will be provided by Lidya Tour 15 days before the departure date of the tour
- 3-person rooms are provided subject to hotel availability, and in such rooms the bed allocated to the 3rd person is smaller than standard beds. 3-person rooms consist of 1 large bed + 1 extra bed. Since the extra beds are foldable and called coach beds, tour participants are deemed to have accepted the possible congestion in the room and the bed type for 3rd person and/or child reservations. Child discounts are valid for a single child staying with 2 adults and fitting the relevant age group.
-Breakfasts included in the tour program and taken at the hotel are served in accordance with the breakfast culture of the country visited and generally with a limited menu called continental breakfast, consisting of butter, jam, bread, tea, or coffee, and may be served in a separate hall allocated to the group.
-The panoramic city tours included in the tour package are tours organized for the general introduction of the cities, lasting at most 2-3 hours, conducted panoramically from the vehicle with guide narration and not including museum or archaeological site entrances. Panoramic tours, including other tours specified in the program, are not the responsibility of Lidya Tour if they cannot be carried out on the day and time of the tour due to places that local authorities do not allow to be visited or entered, or due to closed roads because of any event, or when it becomes impossible to conduct the tour due to weather conditions. Some tours may be conducted by public transportation or on foot where possible, at closed roads or points where vehicle access is not allowed.
- During the journey, waiting times at customs gates crossed by road may exceed the standard; Lidya Tour cannot be held responsible for any inconveniences arising from these waiting times.
-Extra tours are organized by the local Lidya Tour we receive service from, with a minimum participation requirement of 20 people. If the sufficient number is not met, the excursions cannot be carried out, or the extra tour prices, content, and vehicle to be used may vary according to the number of participants. In addition, the days and times of the tours may be changed by the guide depending on the open/closed status of museums and archaeological sites in the places to be visited and on weather conditions.
- Extra tours are optional and not mandatory. Passengers who do not wish to join the extra tours organized during the tour are deemed to have accepted waiting at a suitable rest facility on the route. These passengers are dropped off at the roadside rest facility before the extra tour starts and picked up from the point where they were dropped off after the tour is completed.
- For people participating in tours by plane, the required check-in and boarding procedures are personal procedures and must be carried out by the guest before the flight at the relevant airline counters at the airports or online on the airline companies’ websites.
- Lidya Tour is not responsible for the inability of people who do not be present at the airport specified at the times announced by Lidya Tour for participation in the tour, who do not complete their check-in and boarding procedures on time, or who complete their check-in and boarding procedures on time but do not board the plane. The new round-trip airline tickets required for people who miss the plane to join the tour, and all expenses related to their transfers in the destination region, are their own responsibility.
- Lidya Tour is an intermediary institution between the airline and the passenger and is subject to the Hague Protocol dated 28.09.1955. There may be a risk of delay on scheduled and special flights, or the times before the current trip and flight may change. Lidya Tour is obliged to notify these changes as soon as possible. The passenger has purchased the trip accepting the risk of schedule changes. Children aged 0-2 do not pay airport tax and airport service fees.
