DAY 1                ISTANBUL – ROME

We meet our valued guests in front of the Turkish Airlines Foreign Departures Terminal at Istanbul Airport. After baggage and ticket procedures, we fly on the scheduled Turkish Airlines flight. Upon arrival, we move to the city center of Rome for a panoramic city tour with our private bus waiting for us at the airport. Following our arrival in Rome, we begin our panoramic city tour. Among the places to see during our tour are Castel Sant’Angelo where Cem Sultan was imprisoned, Piazza Venezia where Mussolini addressed the people and which is the topographic center of Rome and Italy, the monument to Vittorio Emanuele II, the Colosseum which hosted gladiator fights, the Trevi Fountain (Lovers’ Fountain) famous from the film “La Dolce Vita”, the Spanish Steps consisting of 135 steps, and the Spanish Square featuring a sunken ship fountain. After the tour, transfer to the hotel. Overnight at our hotel.

DAY 2         ROME
After breakfast, free time. Guests who wish can join the Rome Step by Step tour organized additionally by our guide (85€). In this tour, we set out to explore Rome, one of the oldest cities in the world, which was once called Caput Mundi and considered the center of the world. Among the places to see on our tour are the Pantheon, built by Agrippa before Christ and having the largest dome ever attributed to all pagan gods; Piazza Navona, considered one of the most beautiful squares in the world; San Luigi di Francese Church where you may have the opportunity to see works by Caravaggio; Sant’Andrea della Valle Church, one of the best decorated churches in Rome; and Campo de’ Fiori, another famous square in Rome where a fixed market is held. After the tour, we offer famous Roman ice cream and provide free time.  After free time, transfer to our hotel. Overnight at our hotel.

DAY 3               ROME

After breakfast, free time. Guests who wish can join the Outlets and Lakes Region(Castel Gandolfo-Nemi) & Vatican tour organized additionally by our guide (80Euro). After visiting Nemi, known for its natural beauty where popes spent their summers and famous for mountain strawberries, there is free time in Italy’s most famous outlet region. Then we move to San Pietro Square, accepted as the center of Christianity. After our arrival, there is free time for visiting the Basilica and the Square. Guests who wish can join the Rome Night Tour (35 Euro) or the fun Night Tour with an Ancient Roman style meal (65 Euro) in the evening. Overnight at your hotel.

DAY 4               ROME – ISTANBUL   

After breakfast at the hotel, free time until the time determined by the guide. Guests who wish can join the Heart of the Empire Rome Tour (65€ per person) organized additionally by our guide. We begin our tour with a visit to Santa Maria Maggiore Basilica. One of the four major papal basilicas of Rome, Santa Maria Maggiore is one of the most important religious structures in the city with its 16-century history on Esquiline Hill. The basilica, which stands out with its magnificent mosaics decorating the interior, historical chapels, and artworks, is accepted as one of the most important sacred buildings dedicated to the Virgin Mary. We visit this impressive structure where we will get to know closely the religious and artistic heritage of Rome. Then we move to San Pietro in Vincoli Church. The church, which houses Michelangelo’s famous Moses Statue, also stands out for holding the chains believed to have been used when Saint Peter was imprisoned in Jerusalem. After this impressive structure where we will discover together the art and religious history of Rome, we continue following the traces of ancient Rome. Our next stop is Trajan Forum (Foro di Traiano). Among the ruins of this magnificent complex built during the reign of Roman Emperor Trajan, we see Trajan’s Column, approximately 30 meters high, and the detailed reliefs on the column. We see the famous Moses Statue made by Michelangelo for the tomb of Pope Julius II and accepted among the artist’s most important works. Then we proceed along Via dei Fori Imperiali, seeing monumental forums and historical remains reaching from the eras of Caesar, Augustus, and Trajan to the present day. Passing through the heart of ancient Rome, we witness the glorious past of the Roman Empire along this impressive avenue extending around the Colosseum and the Roman Forum. After the tour, there is free time until the time determined by the guide. Then transfer to Rome Airport. After completing baggage and check-in procedures, we depart for Istanbul on the scheduled Turkish Airlines flight. With our arrival, our tour and services come to an end.
