Day 1                 Istanbul – Bologna – Venice

Meeting with our valued guests 3 hours before the flight time in front of the Pegasus Airlines counter at the international departures terminal of Sabiha Gökçen Airport. Following the baggage and ticket procedures, flight to Bologna with a scheduled Pegasus Airlines flight. Upon arrival, transfer to the hotel in Venice and free time. Guests who wish may join the Floating City Venice Tour (€60 per person), which will be organized as an optional tour by our guide. After arriving at Tronchetto Square, a short boat ride to St. Mark’s Square and a panoramic city tour. During our city tour, the famous St. Mark’s Square and Basilica, the Bridge of Sighs, where prisoners took one last look at Venice before entering prison, the Grand Canal and the Rialto Bridge over it, the Doge’s Palace, the Bell and Clock Tower, and the Church of San Giorgio Maggiore will be among the places to see. Free time after the tour. Transfer to our hotel after the tour. Overnight at our hotel.


Day 2                 Venice – Milan

After breakfast at the hotel, we depart for Milan. Guests who wish may join the Verona Tour (€40 per person), which will be organized as an optional tour along the route by our guide. During our tour, Romeo & Juliet’s house, the setting of the greatest love story in history, the Verona Arena, the Scaligero Bridge with its distinctive architecture, and Verona Cathedral will be among the places to see. After our Verona tour, we will visit Lake Garda, one of the most beautiful lakes in Northern Italy. Free time after our tour. Guests who wish may join the Como Tour (€40 per person), which will be organized as an optional tour along the route by our guide. Located only 45 minutes from Milan and nestled at the foothills of the Alps, Lake Como is a calm, narrow and long lake shaped by glacial erosion. In Como, which offers beautiful views of the affluent and charming towns of Como and Lecco both above and below the Alps, Piazza Cavour and the 14th-century Duomo will be among the places we see. Departure for Milan after the tour. Following our arrival, a panoramic city tour of Milan. During our tour, Milan Cathedral, Italy’s second-largest church, whose construction took approximately 500 years, the Fortezza castle, and the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele, home to the world’s most famous fashion stores, will be among the places to see. Transfer to our hotel after the tour. Overnight at our hotel.


Day 3                 Milan – Florence

After breakfast, we depart for Florence. Opportunity to join the Bologna Tour (€35 per person), which will be organized as an optional tour along the route by our guide. During our Bologna city tour, Piazza Maggiore (the Main Square), considered the center of Bologna, the Neptune Fountain located just behind the square, the Old Stock Exchange Building, Europe’s first university building, Quadrilatero (the old market), and the Garisenda and Asinelli towers, which have become symbols of Bologna, will be among the places to see. After our tour, we depart for our hotel and have free time upon arrival. Guests who wish may join the In the Footsteps of the Renaissance Florence Tour (€45 per person), which will be organized as an optional tour by our guide. During our tour, the Arno River dividing Florence in two, the Ponte Vecchio bridge famous for its jewelry shops, Palazzo Vecchio, where the Medici family ruled Florence, Piazza della Signoria, home to the Hercules and David statues, among the masterpieces of the Renaissance, Santa Maria del Fiore Duomo, which has Italy’s third-highest dome, and the Baptistery, famous for its doors, will be among the places to see. Transfer to our hotel at the end of the tour. Overnight at our hotel.


Day 4                 Florence

Guests who wish may join the Tuscany Tour (€120 per person), which will be organized as an optional tour by our guide. After seeing the Leaning Tower of Pisa, which has become a symbol of Italy, and Piazza dei Miracoli right next to it, in Pisa, our first stop on the tour, we depart for San Gimignano. In San Gimignano, where you will feel as though you are in the Middle Ages, we will see the 13 towers built by rival noble families in the 12th and 13th centuries and Cisterna Square. Our final stop after the tour is Lucca. We explore Lucca, one of Tuscany’s enchanting cities. Walking along the historic city walls, we feel Lucca’s unique atmosphere and embark on a pleasant discovery through its narrow streets and charming squares. After spending an unforgettable day in Lucca, where history, architecture and Italian life intertwine, we depart for the hotel. Overnight at our hotel.


Day 5                  Florence – Rome         

After breakfast, we depart for Rome. Opportunity to join the Siena & Orvieto Tour (€60 per person), which will be organized as an optional tour by our guide along the route. Our first stop is Siena. There are 17 neighborhoods in total in Siena, where neighborhood culture is strongly evident. Campo Square, where the Palio horse races are held with the participation of the neighborhoods, the unfinished Siena Duomo, and the city’s narrow streets will be among the places to see during our Siena city tour. Our next stop is Orvieto. In Orvieto, which holds an important place in Italy’s artistic and general history and boasts extraordinary natural beauty, we will see the ancient city center and Orvieto Duomo before departing for our hotel in Rome. Free time upon arrival at the hotel. Overnight at our hotel.


Day 6                 Rome

Free time after breakfast at the hotel. Guests who wish may join the Rome Wonders & Outlet & Lakes Region & Vatican Tour (€130 per person), which will be organized as an optional tour by our guide. During our tour, Castel Sant’Angelo, where Cem Sultan was imprisoned, Piazza Venezia, where Mussolini addressed the public, and the monument to Victor Emmanuel II, the Colosseum, which hosted gladiator battles, the Trevi Fountain, made famous by the film La Dolce Vita, the Spanish Steps consisting of 135 steps, and the Spanish Steps, which contain the Barcaccia Fountain, will be among the places to see. Then, after visiting the region where the Popes lived during the summer, known for its natural beauty, and the village of Nemi, where you will always want to live and which is famous for its wild strawberries, free time for shopping at Castel Romano Outlet, Italy’s most famous shopping outlet area. Then we depart for St. Peter’s Square, considered the center of Christianity. Upon arrival, free time to visit the Basilica and the Square. Guests who wish may join the Rome by Night Tour (€35 per person), which will be organized as an optional tour by our guide. Overnight at our hotel.

 Day 7                 Rome   

Free time after breakfast. Guests who wish may join the Naples & Sorrento Tour (€105 per person), which will be organized as an optional tour by our guide. Our first stop is Naples. Piazza del Plebiscito, the central square of Naples, the Royal Palace built in the 17th century, Castel Nuovo (New Castle), the Basilica of San Francesco di Paola, modeled after St. Peter’s Square and the Pantheon in Rome, the Galleria Umberto I, home to shops, the San Carlo Theatre, built in 1737 and included on the UNESCO World Heritage List, and the Port of Naples will be among the places to see. Our next stop is Sorrento, one of Italy’s most romantic cities. You may be enchanted by Sorrento’s lush streets and flower-filled squares. Transfer to our hotel after the tour. Overnight at our hotel.


Day 8                 Rome – Istanbul   

After breakfast, transfer to Rome Airport depending on the flight time. Following completion of the baggage and check-in procedures, departure for Istanbul on a scheduled Pegasus Airlines flight. Arrival in Istanbul and the end of our tour.

The extra tours along the route will take place if at least 6 people from the group participate. Guests who do not wish to participate will be asked to wait at rest stops, recreation facilities, or similar points. 

In the event of fairs, congresses, events, etc. that may take place in the cities, accommodation may be provided outside the promised distance and area. In such a case, our agencies will be informed in writing of the hotel area at least 21 days before the tour departure.

Triple rooms include an extra bed; the third bed is smaller than a standard bed and/or is an additional foldable bed.

Since triple rooms are not available in some European cities, hotels may provide a double room + a single room instead of a triple room.

Bed-type requests are subject to hotel availability and cannot be guaranteed.

Advantageous packages can only be paid for in cash or by credit card to the local agency after the tour has started.


INFORMATION:

For international travel, a passport valid for at least 6 months is mandatory. Passports older than 10 years are not valid for travel abroad and must be renewed before the tour departure date. Entry is not permitted with torn or worn passports.

For a visa application, a passport valid for at least 6 months and the documents specified in the list of documents required for the visa, which can be obtained from our agencies, must be submitted to the agency in full with written approval at least 1 month before the tour departure date.

In the event of fairs, congresses, events, etc. that may take place in the cities, accommodation may be provided outside the promised distance and area. In such a case, our agencies will be informed in writing of the hotel area at least 30 days before the tour departure.

The visa must be obtained from the country of first entry to the tour destination or from the country where the longest stay will take place; otherwise, Lidya Tour is absolutely not responsible if passport police do not allow entry into the country.

In the event of tour cancellation, visa and insurance fees cannot be refunded.

Lidya Tour acts only as an intermediary between the consulate and our customers and bears no responsibility if the visa is rejected for any reason, is not issued in time, and/or contains errors; the passenger has no right to claim compensation from Lidya Tour under any circumstances.

Lidya Tour acts as an intermediary between the airline and the passenger and is subject to the Hague Protocol of 28.09.1955.

During registration, the name as it appears in the passport, date of birth, and passport number must be entered into the system. Airline tickets are issued according to this information. No-show fees resulting from the cancellation or changes of airline tickets due to incorrect information will be charged to the guests.

Flight times may change before departure, and our guests must call the central office and obtain written confirmation of all times 48 hours before the departure dates.

The city where the aircraft lands may vary. Lidya Tour cannot be held responsible for schedule changes or possible delays caused by airlines.

Lidya Tour is not responsible for changes experienced in domestic connecting flights by guests who do not confirm their flight times and route.

Airline rules apply to group tickets; according to the group ticket rules, if the outbound flight cannot be used, the return flight cannot be used either.

The general baggage allowance for flights departing from Turkey is 20 kg. This allowance may vary according to the airline and the destination country. On domestic flights in the destination countries, this allowance may decrease to 15 kg. Excess baggage weight and price rules are determined by the airlines and are not the responsibility of Lidya Tour.

If the number of people participating in the package tour is insufficient, the consumer will be notified of the tour cancellation 21 days in advance.

The tour route specified in the tour program is an example route, and changes may be made to the tour itinerary.

City sightseeing tours may be conducted on the following day/days depending on the time of arrival in the city.

The excursions specified in the programs may, at the guide’s discretion and for any reason, be conducted on another day apart from the specified day/days.

The extra tours along the route will take place if at least 6 people from the group participate. Guests who do not wish to participate will be asked to wait at the rest stop.

During busy periods such as fairs, congresses, and seminars, hotel accommodation may be provided outside the city.

Excursions or tours that local authorities do not permit for any reason will not be conducted. Alternative tours may be conducted with a minimum participation of 20 people; with fewer participants, they may be conducted at the guide’s discretion and, if necessary, with adjusted prices. Lidya Tour cannot be held responsible if these excursions or tours cannot be conducted.

Entrance fees to museums and archaeological sites are not included in the prices.

Lidya Tour reserves the right to change hotel names, provided that the star category remains the same.

All hotel names specified in the programs are examples, indicated as etc. (and similar), for the purpose of exemplifying the star category and distance. They do not mean that accommodation will be provided at the named hotel.

During your travel, please make sure that you have taken all your belongings with you when leaving the vehicles you use and the hotels where you stay.

When minors under the age of 18 do not participate in the tour together with one or both of their parents, they must carry the required parental consent forms with them during the journey.

In the event of cancellation or changes, the “LIDYA TOUR SALES AGREEMENT” shall apply.
