Day 1                 Istanbul – Bologna – Rome

Meeting with our valued guests in front of the Pegasus Airlines counter at the international departures terminal of Sabiha Gökçen Airport 3 hours before the flight time. Following the baggage and ticket procedures, departure for Bologna on a scheduled Pegasus Airlines flight. Upon arrival, we depart for the transfer to Rome. Upon arrival at the hotel, room allocation and free time for rest. Overnight at our hotel.


Day 2                 Rome

Free time after breakfast at the hotel. Our guests who wish may join the Rome Highlights & Outlet & Lakes Region & Vatican Tour (€130 per person), to be organized optionally by our guide. During our tour, the places to be seen include Castel Sant’Angelo, where Cem Sultan was imprisoned; Piazza Venezia, where Mussolini addressed the public, and the Monument to Vittorio Emanuele II; the Colosseum, which hosted gladiator battles; the Trevi Fountain, made famous by the film La Dolce Vita; the Spanish Steps consisting of 135 steps and the Spanish Steps featuring the Barcaccia Fountain. Afterwards, our next stop is the region of natural beauty where the Popes resided during the summer months, followed by a visit to the village of Nemi, famous for its wild strawberries and a place where you will want to live forever. We then have free time for shopping at Italy's most famous shopping destination, the Castel Romano Outlet area. Afterwards, we depart for St. Peter’s Square, considered the center of Christianity. Upon arrival, free time to visit the Basilica and the Square. Our guests who wish may join the Rome by Night Tour (€35 per person), to be organized optionally by our guide. Overnight at our hotel.

 Day 3                 Rome

Free time after breakfast. Our guests who wish may join the Naples & Sorrento Tour (€105 per person), to be organized optionally by our guide. The first stop of our tour is Naples. The places to be seen include Piazza del Plebiscito, the central square of Naples; the Royal Palace, built in the 17th century; Castel Nuovo (New Castle); the Basilica of San Francesco di Paola, inspired by St. Peter’s Square and the Pantheon in Rome; the Galleria Umberto I, where the shops are located; the San Carlo Theatre, built in 1737 and included in the UNESCO World Heritage List; and the Port of Naples. Our next stop is Sorrento, one of Italy's most romantic cities. You may be enchanted by Sorrento with its lush green streets and flower-filled squares. Transfer to our hotel after the tour. Overnight at our hotel.


 Day 4                 Rome – Florence

After breakfast, we depart for Florence. Along the route, there is an opportunity to join the Orvieto Tour (€40 per person), to be organized optionally by our guide. Our next stop is Orvieto. In Orvieto, which holds an important place in Italy’s art and general history and boasts extraordinary natural beauty, we will see the ancient city center and Orvieto Duomo before departing for our hotel in Montecatini. Free time upon arrival at the hotel. Our guests who wish may join the Florence Tour in the Footsteps of the Renaissance (€45 per person), to be organized optionally by our guide. During our tour, the places to be seen include the Arno River, which divides Florence in two; the Ponte Vecchio bridge, famous for its jewelers; Palazzo Vecchio, where the Medici family ruled Florence; Piazza della Signoria, home to the Hercules and David statues, among the masterpieces of the Renaissance; the Santa Maria del Fiore Duomo, which has Italy’s third-highest dome; and the Baptistery, famous for its doors. Transfer to our hotel at the end of the tour. Overnight at our hotel.


 Day 5                 Florence

Our guests who wish may join the Tuscany Tour (€120 per person), to be organized optionally by our guide. After seeing the Leaning Tower of Pisa, which has become a symbol of Italy, and Piazza dei Miracoli right beside it in Pisa, the first stop of our tour, we depart for San Gimignano. In San Gimignano, where you will feel as if you are in the Middle Ages, we will see the 13 towers built by rival noble families in the 12th and 13th centuries and Cisterna Square. After our tour, we depart for Siena. Siena has a total of 17 neighborhoods, where neighborhood culture is strongly evident. Piazza del Campo, where the Palio horse races are held with the participation of the neighborhoods; the unfinished Siena Duomo; and the city’s narrow streets are among the places to be seen during our Siena city tour. Transfer to our hotel after the tour. Overnight at our hotel.


 Day 6                 Florence – Milan

After breakfast, we depart for Milan, with an opportunity beforehand to join the Bologna Tour (€35 per person), to be organized optionally by our guide along the route. During our Bologna city tour, the places to be seen include Piazza Maggiore (Main Square), considered the center of Bologna; the Fountain of Neptune, located just behind the square; the Old Stock Exchange Building; Europe’s first university building; Quadrilatero (the old market); and the Garisenda and Asinelli towers, which have become symbols of Bologna. After our tour, we depart for Milan. Our guests who wish may join the Como Tour (€40 per person), to be organized optionally by our guide. Lake Como, located only 45 minutes from Milan and nestled in the foothills of the Alps as a calm, narrow and long lake, was shaped by glacial erosion. In Como, which offers beautiful views of the affluent and charming towns of Como and Lecco both above and below the Alps, Piazza Cavour and the 14th-century Duomo are among the places we will see. After our tour, we continue our journey to Milan from where we left off. Following our arrival, a panoramic Milan city tour. During our tour, the places to be seen include Milan Duomo, Italy’s second-largest church, whose completion took approximately 500 years; Fortezza Castle; and the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele, home to the world’s most famous fashion stores. Free time after our tour. Overnight at our hotel.


 Day 7                 Milan – Venice

After breakfast at the hotel, we depart for Venice. Our guests who wish may join the Verona & Garda Tour (€60 per person), to be organized optionally by our guide along the route. During our tour, the places to be seen include the house of Romeo & Juliet, the subject of history’s greatest love story; the Verona Arena; the Scaligero Bridge with its distinctive architecture; and Verona Cathedral. Following our Verona tour, we will visit Lake Garda, one of the most beautiful lakes in Northern Italy. After our tour, transfer to the Venice hotel and free time. Our guests who wish may join the Floating City Venice Tour (€60 per person), to be organized optionally by our guide. Upon arrival at Tronchetto Square, we take a short boat ride to St. Mark’s Square, followed by a panoramic city tour. During our city tour, the places to be seen include the famous St. Mark’s Square and Basilica; the Bridge of Sighs, where prisoners took one last look at Venice before entering prison; the Grand Canal and the Rialto Bridge over it; the Doge’s Palace; the Bell and Clock Tower; and San Giorgio Maggiore Church. Free time and transfer to our hotel after the tour. Overnight at our hotel.


Day 8                 Venice – Istanbul   

After breakfast, transfer to Venice Airport depending on the flight time. Following completion of the baggage and check-in procedures, departure for Istanbul on a scheduled Pegasus Airlines flight. Arrival in Istanbul and the end of our tour.

The extra tours along the route will take place provided that at least 6 people from the group participate. Guests who do not wish to participate will wait at rest stops, service facilities, etc. 

In the event of fairs, congresses, events, etc. that may take place in the cities, accommodation may be provided outside the promised distance and area. In such a case, our agencies will be informed in writing of the hotel area at least 21 days before the tour departure.

Triple rooms have an extra bed, and the third bed is smaller than a standard bed and/or is an additional folding bed.

Since triple rooms are not available in some European cities, hotels may provide a double room + a single room instead of a triple room.

Child discounts are valid only for purchases of the advantageous Eco or advantageous Maxi extra tour packages. No discount is applied to individual purchases.

Advantageous packages can only be paid for in cash or by credit card to the local agency after the tour has started.


INFORMATION:

A passport valid for at least 6 months is mandatory for international travel. Passports older than 10 years are not valid for international travel and must be renewed before the tour departure date. Entry is not permitted with torn or worn passports.

For a visa application, a passport valid for at least 6 months and the documents specified in the list of documents required for the visa, which can be obtained from our agencies, must be submitted to the agency in full with written approval at least 1 month before the tour departure date.

In the event of fairs, congresses, events, etc. that may take place in the cities, accommodation may be provided outside the promised distance and area. In such a case, our agencies will be informed in writing of the hotel area at least 30 days before the tour departure.

The visa must be obtained from the first country of entry on the tour or from the country where the longest accommodation will take place; otherwise, Lidya Tour is absolutely not responsible if passport control officers do not allow entry into the country.

In the event of tour cancellation, visa and insurance fees cannot be refunded.

Lidya Tour acts only as an intermediary between the consulate and our customers and bears no responsibility if the visa is not approved for any reason, is not issued in time, and/or contains errors; the passenger has no right to claim compensation from Lidya Tour under any circumstances.

Lidya Tour acts as an intermediary between the airline and the passenger and is subject to the 28.09.1955 Hague Protocol.

During registration, the name as stated in the passport, date of birth, and passport number must be entered into the system. Airline tickets are issued according to this information. No-show fees arising from the cancellation or changes of airline tickets due to incorrect information will be charged to the guests.

Flight times may change before departure, and all times must be confirmed in writing by our guests by calling the central office 48 hours before the departure dates.

The city where the aircraft lands may vary. Lidya Tour cannot be held responsible for schedule changes or possible delays caused by airlines.

Lidya Tour is not responsible for changes experienced in domestic connecting flights by guests who do not confirm their flight times and route.

Airline rules apply to group tickets, and according to the group ticket rules, if the outbound flight cannot be used, the return flight cannot be used either.

For most flights departing from Turkey, the baggage allowance is 20 kg. This weight may vary according to the airline and the destination country. On domestic flights within the countries visited, this allowance may decrease to 15 kg. Excess baggage weight/price rules are determined by the airlines and are not the responsibility of Lidya Tour.

If the number of people required to participate in the package tour is not reached, tour cancellation will be notified to the consumer 21 days in advance.

The tour route specified in the tour program is an example route, and changes may occur in the tour itinerary.

City sightseeing tours may be conducted on the following day/days depending on the time of arrival in the city.

The excursions specified in the programs may, at the guide's discretion and for any reason, be conducted on another day/days other than those specified.

The extra tours along the route will take place provided that at least 6 people from the group participate. Guests who do not wish to participate will wait at the rest stop.

During busy periods such as fairs, congresses, and seminars, hotel accommodation may be provided outside the city.

Excursions or tours that local authorities do not permit to be visited or attended for any reason will not be conducted. Alternative tours may be conducted with a minimum participation of 20 people; with lower participation, they may be conducted at the guide's discretion and, if necessary, with changed prices. Lidya Tour cannot be held responsible if these excursions or tours cannot be conducted.

Museum and archaeological site entrance fees are not included in the prices.

Lidya Tour reserves the right to change hotel names provided that the star category remains the same.

All hotel names specified in the programs are examples, indicated as E.G. (or similar), in terms of star category and distance. This does not mean that accommodation will be provided at the hotel named.

When leaving the vehicles you use during your trip and the hotels where you stay, please make sure that you have taken all your belongings.

The child discount is valid only for children in the specified age group staying with 2 adults.

When children under the age of 18 who are not legally adults do not participate in the tour together with one or both of their parents, they are required to carry the necessary parental consent forms with them during the trip.

In the event of cancellation or change, the “LIDYA TOUR SALES CONTRACT” shall apply.
