IMPORTANT NOTES

Our tour program is arranged with a minimum participation requirement of 10 people. If sufficient participation is not achieved for the trip, the final cancellation notice date is 20 days before the tour departure. A tour canceled due to insufficient participation will be notified to you through your agency.

In cases where there is not enough participation but the tour is carried out, English guidance may be provided.

In cases where only category information is given in the tour program without specifying names and/or there are optional hotels for the same destination, the hotel(s) will be notified by your agency 48 hours before the tour departure.

During periods such as fairs, congresses, concerts, events, sports tournaments, etc., hotels may be used at distances greater than the stated km. In such a case, you will be informed by your agency 15 days before the tour departure date.

3-person rooms can be provided depending on hotel availability, and in such rooms the bed assigned to the 3rd person is smaller than standard beds. 3-person rooms consist of 1 large bed + 1 extra bed. Since extra beds are pull-out beds and coach beds, participants making 3rd person and/or child reservations are deemed to have accepted the possible cramped space in the rooms and the bed type. Child discounts apply only to a single child in the relevant age group staying with 2 adults.

The breakfasts included among the services in the tour program are served in accordance with the breakfast culture of the country visited and generally with a limited menu called continental breakfast, consisting of butter, jam, bread, tea or coffee, and may be served in a separate hall assigned to the group for groups.

Panoramic city tours included in the tour package are tours of up to 2-3 hours organized for the general introduction of the cities, conducted panoramically from inside the vehicle with guide narration, and do not include museum or archaeological site entrance fees. Panoramic tours, including the other tours specified in the program, are not the responsibility of Lidya Tour if they cannot be carried out because local authorities do not allow visits or entry on the day and time of the tour, or due to closed roads because of any event, or when weather conditions make the tour impossible. Some tours may be conducted by public transport or on foot where possible, at closed roads or points where vehicle entry is not permitted.

Since tour flights are group tickets, flight times may change. You can confirm the current flight details with your agency. Current times will be communicated by your agency with the tour information.

It is necessary to confirm the tour flight times before purchasing a domestic flight. If the guest purchased the domestic connecting flight from a different product provider independent of the agency, they cannot request any refund from the agency in case the trip is canceled by the agency or there is a schedule change. The guest accepts in advance any material and moral losses that may arise due to the cancellation or change of the tour when purchasing the tour. Lidya Tour cannot be held responsible for this situation.

According to airline rules; if the outbound flight of round-trip tickets is not used, the return flight is canceled by the airline.

Guests included in the tour without a flight must be present at the tour starting point on their own means and without any delay. Otherwise, they will have to arrange all transfers at their own expense.

Lidya Tour is not responsible for guests who, in accordance with airline rules, do not arrive at the specified airport at the stated times for participation in the tour, do not complete check-in and boarding on time, or complete check-in and boarding on time but cannot board the plane, in the event that they are unable to take the flight. All costs related to obtaining new round-trip airline tickets required for guests who miss the plane to join the tour, and transfers in the destination area, etc., shall be borne by them.

The participants' personal belongings, bags, suitcases, passports/IDs are under their own responsibility, and Lidya Tour is not responsible for forgotten/lost/stolen items. In cases where forgotten items are found, there is no obligation to deliver them to the country and/or the person, and the costs incurred during delivery belong to the owner of the item.

In cases such as illness, loss or theft, since the integrity and continuity of the group are essential for the guide, the guide cannot accompany the guests one-to-one in such adverse situations.

When purchasing the tour, it is mandatory to provide the name, date of birth, and passport number exactly as they appear in the passport. Airline tickets are issued according to this information. Cancellation and change penalties for tickets arising from incorrect information will be collected from you.

On some airlines, food, beverages, and online check-in services may be subject to a fee.

During the tour, seat numbers on the bus cannot be guaranteed.

During our tours, the times announced by our guide to the guests are the departure, wheel-turning times of the vehicle. Our guide, who is responsible for safeguarding the rights of all our guests equally, will move the vehicle without waiting at the meeting times. In the event of a delay, our guest must make their own way to the next stop.

Extra tours are arranged by the local agency we work with, with a minimum participation requirement of 20 people. If the required number is not met, the excursions cannot be carried out or the extra tour prices, content, and vehicle used may vary depending on the number of participants. In addition, the days and times of the tours may be changed by the guide depending on the opening/closing status of the museums and archaeological sites at the destinations and the weather conditions.

In our classic packages, where extra tours are not included, extra tours are optional and not mandatory. Passengers who do not wish to join the extra tours arranged during the tour are deemed to have accepted waiting at a suitable rest area along the route. These passengers are dropped off at a roadside rest stop before the extra tour begins and picked up from the point where they were dropped off after the tour is completed.

In programs where extra tours are included, it is mandatory to pay the museum & archaeological site entrance fees to your agency at the time of booking or to the guide during the tour.

The participant accepts in advance that they will join the tours to be organized as stated in the tour program, will not disrupt the program, and accordingly will additionally pay the amount previously notified in the tour program to the tour official during the trip for expenses such as local guide, museum & archaeological site entrance fees, city taxes, and audio system if any. The participant has been fully and completely informed on this matter.

In cases where only category information is given and/or there is alternative information for the same destination, you can learn the hotel(s) where you will stay 48 hours before the tour departure.

Lidya Tour is an intermediary institution between the airline and the passenger and is subject to the Hague Protocol dated 28.09.1955. There may be a risk of delays on scheduled and special flights, or times may change before the current trip and flight. Lidya Tour is obliged to notify such changes as soon as possible. Our passengers have purchased the tour knowing and accepting that flight details may change.

VISA

There is no visa requirement for Turkish Republic citizens. A passport valid for at least 6 months from the end date of travel is sufficient.

Our guests traveling with a T.C. green passport, if the issue date of their passport is more than 10 years old, must renew their passports. Otherwise, they may not be accepted into the destination country and/or may not be allowed to fly by the airline. In such a case, responsibility lies with the passenger. 

The visa information specified in the program applies to citizens of the Republic of Türkiye. Guests holding a passport other than that of the Republic of Türkiye must obtain visa information from the relevant consulates.

The passport police have the authority to refuse you entry into the country. Lidya Tour is not responsible for this situation; responsibility lies with the passenger. 

To avoid problems with customs police at the border of the country to be visited due to passports that are torn, worn, wet and/or damaged in a similar way; such passports must be renewed, and if the country requires a visa for T.C. citizens, the relevant visa must be in the new passport. Otherwise, responsibility lies with the passenger.
