Day 1 Istanbul – Baku
Meeting in front of the International Departures Terminal of Sabiha Gökçen Airport. After ticket, baggage and passport procedures, depart for Baku at 13:25 with Ajet Airlines flight VF177. Arrival in Baku at 17:15 local time. After passport, baggage and customs procedures, we begin exploring Baku, where East and West, history and modern architecture meet in perfect harmony. We start our program with Mountain Park, one of the city’s most impressive panoramic points. From here, the Caspian Sea, Flame Towers and Baku’s enchanting city view can be admired; these unique views are immortalized with photo breaks. During the rest of our city tour, Baku Olympic Stadium, which hosts international events and stands out with its modern architecture, SOCAR Tower, symbolizing Azerbaijan’s energy power and becoming one of the landmarks of the city skyline, Governor’s Garden, one of Baku’s oldest and most orderly green spaces, the Government House with its magnificent architecture dating back to the Soviet era, and the State Philharmonic Hall, considered the heart of the city’s cultural and artistic life, will be seen panoramically. In addition, by passing through some sections of the world-famous Formula 1 city circuit hosted by Baku, the sporty and organizational face of modern Baku will be closely observed. Our tour continues along Baku Boulevard stretching by the Caspian Sea. Along the way, the Azerbaijan National Carpet Museum, notable for its architecture, will be seen. Then free time is given on Nizami Street (Torgovaya), one of the city’s liveliest and most popular spots. In this area, there is an opportunity to spend pleasant time among historic buildings, stylish cafés and shops. After free time, transfer to our hotel. Overnight at the hotel. Guests who wish may attend the Azerbaijan Night, arranged as an extra. (75 USD)

Day 2 Baku (Modern Baku and Old City)
After breakfast at the hotel, guests who wish may join our guide for the Baku city tour (55 USD). The tour will begin with a panoramic view of the White City area, one of the symbols of modern Baku, and information will be provided about the city’s contemporary architecture and new living spaces. Then the Military Trophy Park (entrance included) will be visited and our guide will share information about Azerbaijan’s recent history and national values. After the tour, free time will be given for shopping and rest, and one of Baku’s leading shopping centers will be visited. The program will continue with a visit to the Modern Art Museum (entrance included), where works by Azerbaijani artists will be seen; afterwards, a photo break will be taken at the Heydar Aliyev Center, designed by the world-famous architect Zaha Hadid. The tour will continue with a short walk around Governor’s Garden and the Azerbaijan State Philharmonic Hall, and in the final part of the day, the Old City (Icheri Sheher), listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, will be visited. In this area, Shirvanshahs’ Palace, Maiden Tower, historic caravanserais, mosques and traditional bathhouses will be seen from the outside, allowing the historical atmosphere to be felt up close. After the program, transfer to our hotel. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 3 Baku – (Gobustan and First Oil Well)
After breakfast at the hotel, on this tour arranged as an extra for guests who wish, the legendary Gobustan National Reserve (entrance included) (45 USD), listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, will be visited. Rock carvings dating back approximately 10,000 years will be seen, and before that, detailed information about Gobustan’s history, geological structure, flora and fauna will be provided in the modern and interactive museum. On the return route, Flag Square, Crystal Hall, the area where the world’s first mechanical oil well is located (1846), and Bibi-Heybat Mosque will be seen panoramically.

INFORMATION
- During the tour, Euro is sufficient for shopping and spending in all countries included in the program. In regions where local currency is used, the guide will assist with currency exchange.
- Comfortable walking shoes or sneakers should be preferred during the tour. It is advisable to bring a cardigan or similar clothing for the evening.
- On our tours, a daily rotation (seat change) is applied in seat planning, and fixed seats and front-seat guarantees are not provided. Seat changes are organized by the vehicle guide.
- When entering Turkey from abroad, a minimum 3-day stay is required in order to bring goods (alcohol, cigarettes, etc.).

- On the tour program, the guides may make changes to the flow of the program depending on weather and road conditions, provided that all places stated in the program are shown.
- In cases where only category information is provided in the tour program without mentioning names and/or there are alternatives for the same destination, the hotel(s) will be announced by Lidya Tour 2 days before the tour departure.
- During periods such as fairs, congresses, concerts, events, sports tournaments, etc., hotels may be used at distances greater than those stated in km. In such a case, information will be provided by Lidya Tour 15 days before the departure date of the tour
- Triple rooms may be provided depending on hotel availability, and in such rooms the bed assigned to the 3rd person is smaller than standard beds. Triple rooms consist of 1 large bed + 1 extra bed. Since extra beds are folding beds and coach beds, tour participants are deemed to have declared that they accept the possible congestion in the rooms and the bed type in 3rd person and/or child reservations. Child discounts are valid only for one child in the relevant age group staying with 2 adults.
- Breakfasts included among the services in the tour program are served according to the breakfast culture of the country being visited and are generally offered as a limited menu called continental breakfast, consisting of butter, jam, bread, tea or coffee, and may be served in a separate hall allocated to the group.
- The panoramic city tours included in the tour package are tours lasting at most 2-3 hours, organized for a general introduction of the cities and conducted panoramically with guide commentary from inside the vehicle, not including entrance fees to museums or ruins. For panoramic tours, including the other tours specified in the program, if they cannot take place on the day and time of the tour because local authorities do not permit visiting or entering, or due to closed roads because of any event, or when the tour becomes impossible due to weather conditions, Lidya Tour is not responsible for the inability to carry out the aforementioned tours. Some tours may, where possible, be conducted by public transportation or on foot at points where roads are closed or vehicle entry is not permitted.
- During travel, waiting times at customs gates crossed by road may exceed standards, and Lidya Tour cannot be held responsible for any inconveniences caused by these waiting times.
- Extra tours are organized by the local Lidya Tour we work with, with a minimum participation requirement of 20 people. If the required number is not met, the excursions cannot be carried out, or the extra excursion prices, content, and vehicles to be used may vary according to the number of participants. In addition, the days and times of the tours may be changed by the guide according to the opening/closing status of the museums and ruins to be visited and weather conditions.
- Participation in extra tours is optional and not mandatory. Passengers who do not wish to join extra tours organized during the tour are deemed to have accepted waiting at a suitable rest area along the route. These passengers are dropped off at a roadside rest area before the extra tour starts and are picked up from the point where they were left after the tour is completed.
- For those participating in air tours, the required check-in and boarding procedures are personal procedures and must be completed by the guest at the relevant airline counters at airports before the flight or online on the airlines’ websites.
- Lidya Tour is not responsible for persons who are not present at the airport at the times notified by Lidya Tour for participation in the tour, who do not complete their check-in and boarding procedures on time, or who complete their check-in and boarding procedures on time but do not board the plane and therefore cannot take the flight. The round-trip new flight tickets required for people who miss the plane to join the tour and all expenses related to their transfers in the destination region are their responsibility.
- Lidya Tour is an intermediary institution between the airline and the passenger and is subject to the Hague Protocol dated 28.09.1955. There may be a risk of delay on scheduled and charter flights, or the times of the current tour and before the flight may change. Lidya Tour is obliged to notify these changes as soon as possible. The passenger has purchased the tour accepting the risk of schedule changes. Children aged 0-2 do not pay airport tax and airport service fees.
