Day 1 Istanbul – Tbilisi
Meeting in front of the International Departures Terminal at Sabiha Gökçen Airport. After ticket, baggage, and passport procedures, depart for Tbilisi on Ajet Airlines flight VF227 at 00:15. Arrival in Tbilisi at 03:50 local time. After passport, baggage, and customs procedures; upon arrival, we begin our city tour to explore Tbilisi, the capital and largest city of Georgia. Located on the banks of the Mtkhvari River and founded in the 5th century by King Vakhtang Gorgasali, the city fascinates visitors with its historical texture and colorful architecture. During our city tour, Shota Rustaveli Street, one of Tbilisi’s main arteries, will be viewed panoramically, then we will proceed to Freedom Square and the Old Town district. Here, we will see the monument of King Vakhtang Gorgasali, the founder of the city, take a photo break in the Abanotubani district famous for its sulfur baths, and visit Shardeni Street, one of Tbilisi’s liveliest spots. In the continuation of our tour, the Peace Bridge, which stands out with its modern architecture and was designed by an Italian architect, will be viewed panoramically. Guests who wish may, accompanied by our guide, go up to Narikala Fortress by cable car and enjoy a bird’s-eye view of Tbilisi (10 USD). From the ancient fortress, there will be an opportunity to take photos with views of the Old Town, the Mtkhvari River, and modern Tbilisi. Free time after the city tour. Guests who wish may visit the Tbilisi Wine Museum, located in a historic caravanserai from the 17th century, to get to know Georgia’s 8,000-year-old wine culture closely and join a guided wine tasting (20 USD). In the evening, for guests who wish, a Georgian Night will be organized in a traditional restaurant with national Georgian cuisine, folkloric dances, and live music (55 USD). After our tour, we head to the hotel where we will be staying. Overnight at our hotel.

Day 2 Tbilisi
After breakfast at the hotel, for guests who wish, accompanied by our guide, a half-day excursion to Mtskheta, Georgia’s former capital and a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is offered (59 USD). On this trip, we will visit Svetitskhoveli Cathedral, considered one of Georgia’s spiritual symbols and one of the masterpieces of medieval architecture; then, by going up to Jvari Monastery located on a hill, we will enjoy the unique panoramic view where the Aragvi and Mtkvari rivers meet. After returning to Tbilisi, free time continues, and for guests who wish, there is an option for a boat tour on the Mtkvari River in the evening (35 USD). Later in the day, guests who wish may visit the Georgia Chronicles Monument, located on the road to Tbilisi Airport and reflecting Georgia’s rich history (25 USD). Designed by sculptor Zurab Tsereteli, this monumental structure draws attention with its massive stone columns depicting Christianity and the history of the Georgian kings. There is also an opportunity to view the surroundings panoramically from the monument area.

Day 3 Tbilisi
After breakfast at the hotel, for guests who wish, accompanied by our guide, a full-day excursion to the city of Gori, located in the heart of Georgia and standing out with its historical texture, is offered (98 USD). On this trip, we will take a short walk through the streets of Gori, one of the important cities in Georgian history, to get acquainted with the local atmosphere. In the continuation of our tour, we will visit the ancient rock-hewn city of Uplistsikhe, carved into cliffs and notable for its history dating back to the 1st millennium BC. In this area, one of Georgia’s most impressive archaeological sites with its pagan temples, tunnels, and halls, free time will be given accompanied by unique views of the surrounding valley. Later in the trip, guests who wish may visit the Stalin Museum, located in Gori and including Joseph Stalin’s birthplace (18 USD). During the museum visit, Stalin’s personal belongings, the preserved childhood home, and notable exhibitions from the Soviet era will be seen.

INFORMATION
- During the tour, Euro is sufficient for shopping and spending in all countries included in the program. In regions where local currency is used, the guide will assist with currency exchange.
- Comfortable walking shoes or sneakers should be preferred during the tour. It is advisable to bring a cardigan or similar clothing for the evening.
- On our tours, a daily rotation (seat change) is applied in seat planning, and fixed seats and front-seat guarantees are not provided. Seat changes are organized by the vehicle guide.
- When entering Turkey from abroad, a minimum 3-day stay is required in order to bring goods (alcohol, cigarettes, etc.).

- On the tour program, the guides may make changes to the flow of the program depending on weather and road conditions, provided that all places stated in the program are shown.
- In cases where only category information is provided in the tour program without mentioning names and/or there are alternatives for the same destination, the hotel(s) will be announced by Lidya Tour 2 days before the tour departure.
- During periods such as fairs, congresses, concerts, events, sports tournaments, etc., hotels may be used at distances greater than those stated in km. In such a case, information will be provided by Lidya Tour 15 days before the departure date of the tour
- Triple rooms may be provided depending on hotel availability, and in such rooms the bed assigned to the 3rd person is smaller than standard beds. Triple rooms consist of 1 large bed + 1 extra bed. Since extra beds are folding beds and coach beds, tour participants are deemed to have declared that they accept the possible congestion in the rooms and the bed type in 3rd person and/or child reservations. Child discounts are valid only for one child in the relevant age group staying with 2 adults.
- Breakfasts included among the services in the tour program are served according to the breakfast culture of the country being visited and are generally offered as a limited menu called continental breakfast, consisting of butter, jam, bread, tea or coffee, and may be served in a separate hall allocated to the group.
- The panoramic city tours included in the tour package are tours lasting at most 2-3 hours, organized for a general introduction of the cities and conducted panoramically with guide commentary from inside the vehicle, not including entrance fees to museums or ruins. For panoramic tours, including the other tours specified in the program, if they cannot take place on the day and time of the tour because local authorities do not permit visiting or entering, or due to closed roads because of any event, or when the tour becomes impossible due to weather conditions, Lidya Tour is not responsible for the inability to carry out the aforementioned tours. Some tours may, where possible, be conducted by public transportation or on foot at points where roads are closed or vehicle entry is not permitted.
- During travel, waiting times at customs gates crossed by road may exceed standards, and Lidya Tour cannot be held responsible for any inconveniences caused by these waiting times.
- Extra tours are organized by the local Lidya Tour we work with, with a minimum participation requirement of 20 people. If the required number is not met, the excursions cannot be carried out, or the extra excursion prices, content, and vehicles to be used may vary according to the number of participants. In addition, the days and times of the tours may be changed by the guide according to the opening/closing status of the museums and ruins to be visited and weather conditions.
- Participation in extra tours is optional and not mandatory. Passengers who do not wish to join extra tours organized during the tour are deemed to have accepted waiting at a suitable rest area along the route. These passengers are dropped off at a roadside rest area before the extra tour starts and are picked up from the point where they were left after the tour is completed.
- For those participating in air tours, the required check-in and boarding procedures are personal procedures and must be completed by the guest at the relevant airline counters at airports before the flight or online on the airlines’ websites.
- Lidya Tour is not responsible for persons who are not present at the airport at the times notified by Lidya Tour for participation in the tour, who do not complete their check-in and boarding procedures on time, or who complete their check-in and boarding procedures on time but do not board the plane and therefore cannot take the flight. The round-trip new flight tickets required for people who miss the plane to join the tour and all expenses related to their transfers in the destination region are their responsibility.
- Lidya Tour is an intermediary institution between the airline and the passenger and is subject to the Hague Protocol dated 28.09.1955. There may be a risk of delay on scheduled and charter flights, or the times of the current tour and before the flight may change. Lidya Tour is obliged to notify these changes as soon as possible. The passenger has purchased the tour accepting the risk of schedule changes. Children aged 0-2 do not pay airport tax and airport service fees.
