IMPORTANT NOTES
Our tour program is organized with a minimum participation requirement of 40 people. In the event that sufficient participation is not achieved for the trip, the agency will notify you 21 days before the tour departure date. Tours canceled due to insufficient participation will be communicated to you via your agency.
In cases where only category information is provided without naming the hotels and/or if options are available for the same destination, the hotels will be announced by your agency 48 hours prior to the trip departure.
During periods such as fairs, congresses, concerts, events, sports tournaments, etc., hotels may be used at greater distances than specified or in different cities. In such cases, your agency will inform you 48 hours before the trip departure.
The panoramic city tours included in the tour package are designed for general promotion of the cities and are conducted as panoramic tours with narrative by the guide only from the vehicle, excluding entrance to museums and archaeological sites, lasting no more than 2-3 hours. Lidya Tour is not responsible for the inability to perform these tours due to local authority restrictions, closed roads, or any events on the days and times that correspond to the tours, as well as due to weather conditions that make it impossible to conduct the tour. Some tours may be conducted using public transport or on foot, within the limits of available means, in places where roads are closed or vehicle entry is prohibited.
Triple rooms may be provided depending on the availability in the hotels, and in such rooms, the bed assigned to the 3rd person is smaller than standard beds. Triple rooms consist of 1 large bed + 1 additional bed. The additional beds are made up of pull-out beds and those referred to as coach beds, therefore, participants in the trip who have booked a 3rd person and/or child in the reservations accept that they may experience tightness and bed types in the rooms. Child discounts apply only for a single child of the appropriate age group accompanying 2 adults. No bed guarantee is provided for children aged 0-2.
Breakfasts provided at the hotel are served in accordance with the breakfast culture of the country being visited and generally consist of a limited menu known as continental breakfast, including butter, jam, bread, and tea or coffee, which may be served in a separate room allocated for groups.
As group tickets, tour flights may change in terms of flight times. You can confirm current flight details with your agency. Updated times will be communicated to you by your agency with the tour information.
It is necessary to confirm the tour flight times without taking domestic flights. If a guest purchases their domestic connection flight from a different product provider independent of the agency, in the event that the tour is canceled by the agency or if there is a time change, they cannot request any refund from the agency. The guest accepts in advance all material and moral losses that may arise from the cancellation or changes in the tour upon purchasing. Lidya Tour cannot be held responsible for this situation.
According to airline regulations; if the outbound flight of a round-trip ticket is not used, the return flight will be canceled by the airline.
Guests not included in the flight must be present at the trip starting point on their own without any delay. Otherwise, they will be responsible for all their transfers.
Lidya Tour is not responsible for passengers who are not present at the designated time at the specified airport according to the airline regulations for participation in the tour, who do not complete check-in and boarding procedures on time, or who complete these procedures but cannot board the plane. All expenses related to obtaining new round-trip plane tickets and transfers in the destination area for passengers who miss their flight are their responsibility.
Participants in the tour are responsible for their personal belongings, bags, suitcases, passports/identities, and Lidya Tour is not responsible for forgotten/lost/stolen items. In case forgotten items are found, there is no obligation to deliver them to the country and/or individual, and any costs incurred during delivery are the responsibility of the item owner.
In cases of illness, loss, or theft, the guide cannot accompany guests individually due to the integrity and continuity of the group.
It is mandatory to provide correct information regarding the name, date of birth, and passport number as they appear on the passport when purchasing the tour. Flight tickets are issued according to this information. Penalty fees for ticket cancellations and changes caused by incorrect information will be charged to you.
In some airlines, catering and online check-in services may be subject to charges.
The bus seat number cannot be guaranteed during our tours.
During our tours, the times communicated by our guide to guests are the times for the vehicle’s wheels to start moving. Our guide is responsible for ensuring that the rights of all guests are equally protected and will not wait for any guests at the meeting times. In the event that a guest is late, they will have to reach the next stop on their own.
Extra tours are provided by the local agency we work with, subject to a minimum participation requirement of 20 people. If sufficient numbers cannot be achieved, the excursions may not take place, or the contents, pricing, and types of vehicles used may vary based on the number of participants. Additionally, the days and times of the tours may be changed by the guide depending on the open/closed status of museums and archaeological sites to be visited and weather conditions. Different guides may accompany our guests during extra tours.
Extra tours are not mandatory and depend on the participant's wishes in our standard packages. Passengers who do not wish to participate in extra tours organized during the tour are deemed to have accepted to wait at a suitable rest facility along the way. These passengers will be dropped off at a roadside rest facility before the extra tour begins and picked up from the point they were dropped off after the completion of the tour.
In programs that include extra tours, payment of museum and archaeological site entrance fees is required to be made to your agency or the guide during the tour.
Lidya Tour acts as an intermediary between the airline and passengers and is subject to the 28.09.1955 Hague Protocol. There may be a risk of delays in scheduled and special flights, or existing trip and flight times may change before departure. Lidya Tour is obliged to inform this change as quickly as possible. Our passengers have purchased the tour knowing and accepting that flight details may change.
VISA
Visa application is required for Turkish citizens. For the visa application, it is necessary to apply with a passport valid for at least 6 months from the date of completion of the trip along with the documents listed in our agency’s "Documents Required for Visa" list.
The visa must be obtained from the first country entered in the tour or from the country where the most accommodation will be spent.
Holders of green passports do not require a visa; a passport valid for at least 6 months from the date of completion of the trip is sufficient.
The visa information provided in the program pertains to Turkish citizens. Guests holding a passport other than the Republic of Turkey must obtain visa information from the relevant consulates.
Having a visa does not guarantee entry into the country, as the passport police have the authority to deny entry. Lidya Tour is not responsible for this situation; the responsibility lies with the passenger.
In order to avoid issues with customs police at the border of the visited country due to torn, worn, wet, and/or similarly damaged passports, it is required to renew the obtained passports, and if the destination country requires a visa for Republic of Turkey citizens, the relevant visa must be on the new passport. Otherwise, the responsibility lies with the passenger.
Minor guests under the age of 18 traveling alone or with only one of the parents should be aware that they may be asked to present a document showing the consent of both parents during country entry and exit, and we recommend that minors and their parents pay attention to this matter.
