We meet at Istanbul Sabiha Gökçen Airport, in the international departures terminal, three hours before the flight. After baggage, ticket, and boarding procedures, we take our scheduled Ajet Airlines flight to Pristina. Historic cities, unique natural landscapes, cultural riches, and delicious Balkan cuisine await you. Upon arrival, we take our Pristina city tour with our vehicle waiting for us at Pristina Airport. We will spend an emotional day in the old Ottoman lands, where a human tragedy occurred quite recently. Among the places we will see are the Bazaar, the Bazaar Mosque built by Sultan Bayezid in the 15th century, the clock tower built in the 19th century to remind the public of prayer times, the Sultan Murad Mosque built by Sultan Mehmed the Conqueror in 1461, the bathhouse dating from the 19th century, the Yasar Pasha Mosque whose construction began in the 16th century and was completed in the 19th century, the 19th-century Ottoman mansion used as the Kosovo Academy of Sciences and Arts, and the Murad Hüdavendigar Tomb. Then we depart for Ohrid. Along the way, we will visit the colorful-painted Alaca Mosque in Tetovo. After our tour, transfer to our hotel on Lake Ohrid and free time. After the breakfast we will have at the hotel, we visit the Military High School where Atatürk graduated and the Atatürk Museum. Then we head to Resne, one of the most fascinating places in Macedonia. In the city of Resne, where Macedonian and Ottoman history intersect; among the places we will see are the Resneli Niyazi Bey Palace, the Resne Clock Tower, historic houses, and mosques from the Ottoman period. Afterwards, we will take a photo break at the Resne Palace, which bears traces of the Ottoman era. Then we set off for our Sveti Naum tour. Sveti Naum Monastery will welcome you with its historical texture, mystical atmosphere, and enchanting view. After our tour, Ohrid city tour. In Ohrid, famous for its historical and natural beauty, notable places that can be seen include Lake Ohrid, one of Europe’s oldest and deepest lakes, St. John’s Church, which is on a rocky hill but also located on the lakeshore, Ohrid Fortress, one of the most important historical structures, and the Historic Ohrid Bazaar, where you can find the city’s symbol, rare pearl jewelry. After our tour, we will organize our Balkan Night event with dinner. Then we return to our hotel in Ohrid. Accommodation at our hotel.
After breakfast at the hotel, we depart for Tirana, the capital of Albania, via the Elbasan route. On the panoramic city tour, important places to see include Skanderbeg Square, the city's most vibrant area, the Ethem Bey Mosque, the oldest and one of the most important in Tirana, and the National Museum of Tirana, filled with artifacts introducing Albania's history and cultural heritage. After our tour, transfer to our hotel in Shkodra and free time to rest. Dinner and accommodation at our hotel.
After the breakfast we will have at the hotel, we set off toward Budva. Along the way, we stop to observe Sveti Stefan Island from a distance and take photos. After our arrival in Budva, we take a pleasant walk through the Old Town (Stari Grad), which is intertwined with history. As we stroll among the cobblestone narrow streets, stone houses that evoke a medieval atmosphere, and the historical texture, you will find yourself on a journey where time seems to stand still. By reaching the magnificent Budva Citadel, the center of the city’s historical defense system, we will be able to enjoy the wonderful view of the Adriatic from the walls of this magnificent structure where history and natural beauty meet. We will explore Budva’s magnificent coastline, its beaches that blend with the sparkling blue sea, and its dazzling harbor. Afterwards, we head to Kotor. In Kotor, located on Montenegro’s Adriatic coast and famous for its narrow streets and medieval walls, important places to see include the Old Town (stari gard), a typical medieval settlement, the historic St. Tryphon Cathedral built in the 12th century, the Historic Kotor Fortress, and the Square of Arms (Trg od Oružja), Kotor’s central main square. Then, we will have the opportunity to take wonderful photos accompanied by the view of Kotor Bay. After our tour, transfer to our hotel in Trebinje or Medugorje and free time to rest. After breakfast at the hotel, we depart for Počitelj Village, which bears Ottoman traces. This stone village will welcome you with its timeless structures and unique atmosphere. Structures such as the Hacı Aliya Mosque and the Clock Tower in the village are among the places to see. Then, we head to the natural wonder of Blagaj. Blagaj is an important settlement center dating back to the Middle Ages. The region became a strategic point during the Ottoman Empire and was also part of trade. Other structures and traces from the Ottoman period can still be seen in the town’s streets. Guests who wish may visit the historical alperenler tekke located here. After our tour, we head to Mostar, one of the most impressive cities in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Upon arrival, we visit the Mostar Bridge, the most famous of the stone bridges dating back to the Ottoman period. As you walk around the bridge, historic stone houses, traditional shops, and the captivating view of the Neretva River will welcome you. Then, we begin our panoramic city tour of the capital, Sarajevo. In this panoramic city tour, important places to see include the historic Baščaršija, which dates back to the Ottoman period and is considered the heart of the city, the Sebilj Fountain, the city’s symbol, the Gazi Husrev-bey Mosque, one of the most important mosques in Bosnia, and the Clock Tower, which has an interesting time system. The Latin Bridge will attract your attention as a historic point where the assassination that led to the start of World War I took place. In addition, Morića Han and the Clock Tower are among the important structures we will see. After our tour, transfer to our hotel and free time to rest. Dinner and accommodation at our hotel.
After breakfast at the hotel, we set off for our Vrelo Bosna tour. On this tour, we head to discover Vrelo Bosna, one of Sarajevo’s most special natural beauties. At this unique natural wonder, located at the source of the Bosna River, we enjoy a peaceful walk accompanied by lush green trees and crystal-clear waters. We spend time in nature along paths lined with historic plane trees, and we take unforgettable photos by ponds where swans glide and small waterfalls. Afterwards, we depart for historic Belgrade, the homeland of Nicola Tesla and one of the oldest cities in the Balkans. Upon our arrival in Belgrade, we begin our panoramic city tour. Kalemegdan Park and Fortress, located in a strategic position at the confluence of the Sava and Danube rivers and Belgrade’s most important defensive point throughout history, is one of the best places to enjoy a view of the Danube River. During our tour, the Nikola Tesla Museum, which we will see panoramically from the outside, is a science center dedicated to the life and inventions of the famous inventor Nikola Tesla. The museum exhibits Tesla’s revolutionary inventions in the fields of electricity and magnetism. With a brief introduction from the outside, we will observe the worldwide impact of this important scientist and Serbia’s respect for him. Also, Knez Mihailova, Belgrade’s most famous and popular street, and St. Sava Cathedral, one of Europe’s largest Orthodox churches, are among the places we will see during our tour. After breakfast at the hotel, we depart for Skopje, the capital of Macedonia, a city divided by the Vardar River. Upon our arrival in Skopje, we begin our panoramic city tour. Among the places to see in the city are Stone Bridge, one of the most symbolic points of our Skopje tour; Macedonia Square, the largest square in Skopje, located right next to Stone Bridge; Skopje Fortress, built by the Byzantines; and the Great Alexander Statue. The historic Turkish bazaar, Mustafa Pasha Mosque, Kuršumli Han, and the Double Baths are among the places we will see. Then we depart for Matka Canyon, one of North Macedonia’s most impressive natural beauties. Surrounded by high, steep cliffs, this deep valley contains Matka Lake, sparkling with crystal-clear waters. The canyon is full of mysteries waiting to be explored, including Vrelo Cave, one of Europe’s deepest underwater caves. Its rich vegetation, endemic butterfly species, and nature filled with bird songs bring peace to visitors. The spiritual atmosphere of historical monasteries blends with the wild beauty of nature, making the canyon a fascinating place where adventure-filled activities and those seeking tranquility meet. After breakfast at the hotel, we check out of the rooms. At the time specified by our guide, we transfer to the airport. IMPORTANT NOTES
Our tour program is organized with a minimum participation requirement of 40 people. If sufficient participation is not reached for the trip, the final cancellation notice date is 20 days before the tour departure. The canceled tour due to insufficient participation will be notified to you through your agency.
In cases where there is not enough participation but the tour is still operated, English guidance may be provided.
In cases where only category information is given in the tour program without specifying a name and/or where options exist for the same destination, the hotel(s) will be notified by your agency 48 hours before the tour departure.
During periods such as fairs, congresses, concerts, events, sports tournaments, etc., hotels may be used at distances greater than the specified km. In such a case, you will be informed by your agency 15 days before the tour departure date.
Triple rooms are provided according to hotel availability, and in such rooms the bed assigned to the third person is smaller than standard beds. Triple rooms consist of 1 large bed + 1 extra bed. Since extra beds are foldable and coach beds, tour participants are deemed to have accepted the possible cramped conditions in the rooms and the bed type in 3rd person and/or child reservations. Child discounts apply only to one child staying with 2 adults, provided the child is in the relevant age group. No bed guarantee is given for children aged 0–2.
Breakfasts included in the tour program services are served at the hotel in accordance with the breakfast culture of the country being visited and are generally offered as a limited menu called continental breakfast, consisting of butter, jam, bread, tea, or coffee, and may be served in a separate hall allocated to the group.
Panoramic city tours included in the tour package are tours organized for the general introduction of the cities, lasting up to 2-3 hours, conducted panoramically with guide narration from inside the vehicle and not including museum or archaeological site entrance fees. If panoramic tours, including the other tours specified in the program, cannot be carried out on the day and time of the tour due to local authorities not allowing visits or entry, or because of closed roads due to any event, or if the tour becomes impossible due to weather conditions, Lidya Tour is not responsible for the inability to carry out the said tours. Some tours may be conducted by public transportation or on foot where possible in areas with closed roads or where vehicle access is not permitted.
Extra tours are organized by the local agency we receive service from with a minimum participation requirement of 10 people. If sufficient numbers cannot be reached, the excursions cannot be operated, or the extra tour prices, content, and vehicle used may vary depending on the number of participants. In addition, the days and times of the tours may be changed by the guide according to the opening/closing status of museums and archaeological sites at the destinations and weather conditions.
Extra tours are optional and not mandatory. Passengers who do not wish to join extra tours during the trip are deemed to have accepted waiting at a suitable rest facility along the route. These passengers will be dropped off at a roadside rest stop before the extra tour starts and picked up from the same point after the tour is completed.
In accordance with airline rules, if the outbound flight of round-trip tickets purchased is not used, the return flight is canceled by the airline.
Guests included in the tour without airfare must be present at the tour starting point on their own means and without any delay. Otherwise, they will be responsible for providing all transfers on their own.
Lidya Tour is not responsible if guests participating in the tour fail to complete their flight because they are not present at the specified airport at the times announced in accordance with airline rules, do not complete check-in and boarding procedures on time, or, although they complete check-in and boarding on time, are unable to board the aircraft. All expenses related to obtaining new round-trip tickets required for guests who miss the flight to join the tour and any transfers in the destination region shall be borne by them.
The personal belongings, bags, suitcases, passports/IDs of the participants are under their own responsibility, and Lidya Tour is not responsible for forgotten/lost/stolen items. There is no obligation to deliver found forgotten items to the country and/or the person, and the expenses incurred during delivery shall be borne by the owner of the item.
In situations such as illness, loss, or theft, since the integrity and continuity of the group are essential for the guide, the guide cannot accompany guests individually in such negative circumstances.
When purchasing the tour, it is mandatory to correctly provide the name, date of birth, and passport number as shown in the passport. Airline tickets are issued according to this information. Cancellation and change penalties for tickets resulting from incorrect information will be charged to you.
Food and beverage services and online check-in may be subject to a fee on some airlines.
During the tour, seat number cannot be guaranteed when using the bus.
The times announced by our guide to the guests during our tours are departure times, the time the vehicle wheels start turning. Our guide, who is responsible for equally considering the rights of all our guests, will move the vehicle without waiting at the meeting times. In the event of a possible delay, our guest will have to continue to the next stop on their own.
In cases where only category information is given and/or alternative information exists for the same destination, you can learn the hotel(s) where you will stay 48 hours before the tour departure.
Lidya Tour is an intermediary institution between the airline and the passenger and is subject to the Hague Protocol dated 28.09.1955. There may be a risk of delays in scheduled and special flights, or the times may change before the current trip and flight. Lidya Tour is obliged to notify such changes as soon as possible. Our passengers have purchased the tour knowing and accepting that flight details may change.
VISA
There is no visa requirement for Turkish citizens. A passport valid for at least 8 months from the end date of travel is sufficient to apply for a visa.
For our guests traveling with a Turkish green passport, if their passport was issued more than 10 years ago, they must renew their passport. Otherwise, they may not be accepted into the destination country and/or may not be allowed to fly by the airline. In such a case, responsibility lies with the passenger.
The visa information stated in the program applies to citizens of the Republic of Turkey. Guests holding a passport other than that of the Republic of Turkey must obtain visa information from the relevant consulates.
The passport police have the authority to refuse your entry into the country. Lidya Tour is not responsible for this situation; responsibility belongs to the passenger.
In order to avoid problems with customs police at the border gate of the country to be visited due to torn, worn, wet, and/or similarly damaged passports, such passports must be renewed, and if the country applies a visa requirement to Turkish citizens, the relevant visa must be in the new passport. Otherwise, responsibility lies with the passenger.
Since there is a possibility that for our guests under 18 traveling alone or with only one of their parents, the police officer at the country’s entry-exit points may ask for a document showing the parents’ joint consent, we recommend that our guests under 18 and their parents be sensitive about this matter.
