After baggage, ticket, and boarding procedures, our flight to Rabat begins with Air Arabia Airlines scheduled service. Upon arrival at Rabat Airport, our private bus waiting for us at the airport departs for our Majorelle Garden & Bahia Palace & Marrakech Medina Shopping tour. We are visiting the Majorelle Garden, one of the most beautiful places in Marrakech. Founded by French furniture designer and painter Jacques Majorelle and brought to its present form by the famous fashion designer Yves Saint Laurent, we continue our visit to the Majorelle Garden, where we receive information about argan oil and exotic spices, and visit the Bahia Palace, decorated with the country’s characteristic zellige tilework. Then we arrive in the city of Essaouira, located on the coast of the Atlantic Ocean. A former Portuguese city of world renown that reminds us of old Bodrum. Declared a “World Heritage” site by UNESCO, the city is not only a fishing port on the coast of the Atlantic Ocean and a seaside town where art and culture intertwine, but has also served as the setting for many productions such as Orson Welles’s Othello and the recently highly watched series Game of Thrones. The city’s fortress, fishing port, and Medina built inspired by old Roman cities are among the places to see. You can discover the city and enjoy pleasant shopping among its narrow maze-like streets that you will never tire of exploring. After our coffee break here, we continue to Fes. Fes has been protected by UNESCO. Following our tour, which will include the Attarine Madrasa, Al-Qarawiyyin University, Nejarine Square, jewelry and copper goods unique to Morocco, and the leather tanneries, we will transfer to Casablanca. Casablanca owes its fame to the famous film “Casablanca,” which portrayed the city and the period remembered by the line “Play it Again, Sam,” and which hosted the parties’ negotiations during World War II as well as very intensive espionage activities. In Casablanca, now an industrial city with one of Africa’s and the country’s largest ports, among the places we will see are Mohammed V Square, the panoramic Hassan II Mosque, and the lively Corniche waterfront. Our tour program is organized with a minimum participation requirement of 40 people. If sufficient participation is not achieved for the trip, the final cancellation notification date by the agency is 21 days before the tour departure. The cancellation due to insufficient participation will be communicated to you through your agency.
In cases where only category information is provided without specifying names in the tour program and/or there are optional hotels for the same destination, the hotel(s) will be notified by your agency 48 hours before the tour departure.
During periods such as fairs, congresses, concerts, events, sports tournaments, etc., hotels may be used at a distance greater than the specified km or in a different city. In such a case, you will be notified by your agency 48 hours before the tour departure.
The panoramic city tours included in the tour package are tours organized for the general introduction of the cities and are carried out only as panoramic tours with guide commentary from the vehicle, lasting at most 2-3 hours and not including museum or site entrance fees. Lidya Tour is not responsible for the inability to carry out panoramic tours and other tours specified in the program, including cases where local authorities do not allow visits or entry on the day and time of the tour, or where the tour cannot be carried out due to closed roads, or when weather conditions make the tour impossible. Some tours may, where possible, be conducted by public transportation or on foot in areas with closed roads or where vehicle entry is not permitted.
Triple rooms are assigned subject to hotel availability, and the bed allocated to the third person in such rooms is smaller than standard beds. Triple rooms consist of 1 large bed + 1 extra bed. Since extra beds are foldable or coach beds, tour participants are deemed to have accepted the possible tightness in the rooms and the bed type for 3rd person and/or child reservations. Child discounts are valid only for one child staying with 2 adults and meeting the relevant age group. No bed guarantee is provided by hotels for children aged 0-2.
Breakfasts included in the tour program are served at the hotel in accordance with the breakfast culture of the country visited and are generally offered as a limited menu, commonly called continental breakfast, consisting of butter, jam, bread, tea, or coffee, and may be served in a separate hall allocated to the group for groups.
Since tour flights are group tickets, flight times may change. You can confirm the current flight details with your agency. The current times will be communicated by your agency with the tour information.
It is necessary to confirm the tour flight times before purchasing a domestic flight. If the guest purchased the domestic connecting flight from a different product provider independently of the agency, they cannot request any refund from the agency in case the trip is canceled by the agency or if there is a schedule change. The guest has already accepted in advance any material and moral losses that may arise due to cancellation or changes of the tour when purchasing the tour. Lidya Tour cannot be held responsible for this situation.
According to airline rules; if the outbound flight of tickets purchased as round-trip is not used, the return flight is canceled by the airline.
Guests included in the tour without a flight must be present at the tour departure point on their own and without any delay. Otherwise, they will arrange all transfers at their own expense.
Lidya Tour is not responsible for guests who do not show up at the specified airport at the times announced in accordance with airline rules for participation in the tour, who do not complete check-in and boarding procedures on time, or who complete check-in and boarding procedures on time but are unable to board the plane and therefore cannot complete the flight. All expenses related to securing new round-trip plane tickets required for guests who miss the plane to join the tour, as well as transfers in the destination area, etc., shall be borne by them.
The personal belongings, bags, suitcases, passports/IDs of the participants are under their own responsibility, and Lidya Tour is not responsible for forgotten/lost/stolen items. In cases where forgotten items are found, there is no obligation to deliver them to the country and/or the person, and the expenses incurred during delivery shall be borne by the owner of the item.
In cases such as illness, loss or theft, since the integrity and continuity of the group are essential for the guide, the guide cannot accompany the guests one-on-one in such adverse situations.
When purchasing the tour, it is mandatory to provide the name, date of birth, and passport number exactly as shown in the passport. Plane tickets are issued according to this information. Cancellation and change penalty fees for tickets resulting from incorrect information will be charged to you.
On some airlines, food and beverage services and online check-in may be subject to a fee.
During the tour, seat numbers cannot be guaranteed for bus use.
During our tours, the times announced by our guide to the guests are the departure times, the times when the wheels of the vehicle start moving. Our guide, who is responsible for treating all guests’ rights equally, will set the vehicle in motion without waiting at the meeting times. In the event that a guest is late, they must reach the next stop on their own.
The participant accepts in advance that they will join the tours organized and specified in the tour program, will not disrupt the program, and accordingly will pay the amount previously announced in the tour program for expenses such as local guide, museum & site entrance fees, city taxes, and audio system headsets if any, separately to the tour official during the trip. The participant has been fully and completely informed on this matter.
Extra tours are organized by the local agency we work with with a minimum participation of 20 people. If the required number is not reached, the tours may not be held, or the prices, content, and vehicle used for extra tours may vary according to the number of participants. In addition, the days and times of the tours may be changed by the guide depending on the opening/closing status of museums and historical sites at the destinations and weather conditions. During extra tours, a different guide may accompany our guests.
On our classic packages, where extra tours are not included, extra tours are optional and not mandatory. Passengers who do not wish to participate in the extra tours organized during the tour are deemed to have accepted waiting at a suitable rest facility along the route. These passengers will be left at a rest facility on the way before the extra tour begins and picked up from the same point after the tour is completed.
In programs where extra tours are included, payment of museum & site entrance fees is mandatory.
Lidya Tour is an intermediary institution between the airline and the passenger and is subject to the Hague Protocol dated 28.09.1955. There may be a risk of delay in scheduled and special flights, or times may change before the current trip and flight. Lidya Tour is obliged to notify these changes as soon as possible. Our passengers have purchased the tour knowing and accepting that flight details may change.
VISA
There is no visa requirement for Turkish Republic citizens. For a visa application, a passport valid for at least 6 months from the end date of travel is sufficient.
Our guests traveling with a Turkish Republic green passport, if their passport was issued more than 10 years ago, must renew their passport (extensions are not accepted). Otherwise, they may not be admitted to the destination country and/or their flight may not be operated by the airline. In such a case, the responsibility lies with the passenger.
The passport police have the authority to deny you entry into the country. Lidya Tour is not responsible for this situation; responsibility lies with the passenger.
In order to avoid problems with customs police at the border of the country to be visited due to torn, worn, wet and/or similarly damaged passports; such passports must be renewed, and if the country requires a visa for Turkish Republic citizens, the relevant visa must be in the new passport. Otherwise, responsibility lies with the passenger.
Since our guests under 18 traveling alone or with only one of their mother or father may be asked for a document showing parental consent by the police officer on duty at the country’s entry and exit points, we recommend that our guests under 18 and their parents be sensitive about this matter.
