IMPORTANT NOTES
Our tour program is arranged with a minimum participation requirement of 40 people. If sufficient participation is not achieved for the trip, the agency's final cancellation notification date is 21 days before the tour departure. The canceled tour due to insufficient participation will be notified to you through your agency.
In cases where only category information is provided in the tour program without specifying a name and/or where there are options for the same destination, the hotel(s) will be notified by your agency 48 hours before the tour departure.
During periods such as fairs, congresses, concerts, events, sports tournaments, etc., hotels may be used at distances greater than the specified km or in a different city. In such a case, you will be informed by your agency 48 hours before the tour departure.
The panoramic city tours included in the tour package are tours organized for the general introduction of the cities and are at most 2-3 hours long, consisting only of a panoramic view with guide commentary from inside the vehicle, and do not include museum or archaeological site admissions. In the event that, including the panoramic tours and other tours specified in the program, the tours cannot be carried out because local authorities do not permit visits or entry on the day and time of the tour, or due to closed roads due to any event, or in cases where weather conditions make the tour impossible, Lidya Tour is not responsible for the failure to carry out the said tours. Some tours may, where possible, be conducted by public transport or on foot in areas with closed roads or where vehicle access is not permitted.
Triple rooms may be provided depending on hotel availability, and the bed allocated to the 3rd person in such rooms is smaller than standard beds. Triple rooms consist of 1 large bed + 1 extra bed. Since the extra beds are pull-out and coach beds, the tour participant is deemed to have declared that they accept the room tightness and bed type that may occur in 3rd person and/or child reservations. Child discounts are valid only for one child staying with 2 adults – in the applicable age group. No bed guarantee is provided by hotels for children aged 0-2.
Breakfasts included among the services in the tour program are served in accordance with the breakfast culture of the country visited and generally as a limited menu called continental breakfast, consisting of butter, jam, bread, tea or coffee, and may be served in a separate hall allocated to the group for groups.
Since tour flights are group tickets, flight times may change. You can confirm the current flight details with your agency. The current times will be communicated by your agency with the tour information.
It is necessary to confirm the tour flight times before purchasing a domestic connection flight. If the guest purchased the domestic connection flight from a different product provider independent of the agency, they cannot request any refund from the agency in the event that the trip is canceled by the agency or if there is a schedule change. The guest accepts in advance the material and moral losses that may arise due to the tour being canceled or changed when purchasing the tour. Lidya Tour cannot be held responsible for this situation.
According to airline rules; if the outbound flight of tickets purchased as round-trip is not used, the return flight is canceled by the airline.
Guests included in the tour without flights must be present at the tour starting point on their own and without any delay. Otherwise, they will arrange all transfers at their own expense.
Lidya Tour is not responsible for passengers who do not arrive at the specified airport at the times announced in accordance with airline rules for participation in the tour, who do not complete check-in and boarding on time, or who complete check-in and boarding on time but cannot board the plane, and therefore cannot take the flight. All expenses related to obtaining new round-trip tickets required for missed flights and transfers in the destination area, etc., in order for missed passengers to join the tour, are their responsibility.
The personal belongings, bags, suitcases, passports/IDs of the participants in the tour are under their own responsibility, and Lidya Tour is not responsible for forgotten/lost/stolen items. In the event that forgotten items are found, there is no obligation to deliver them to the country and/or person, and the expenses incurred during delivery are the responsibility of the owner of the item.
In cases such as illness, loss, or theft, since the integrity and continuity of the group is essential for the guide, the guide cannot personally accompany guests in such negative situations.
When purchasing the tour, it is mandatory to correctly provide the name as it appears in the passport, date of birth, and passport number. Airline tickets are issued according to this information. Cancellation and change penalties for tickets arising from incorrect information will be collected from you.
In some airlines, meal/drink services and online check-in may be subject to a fee.
During the tour, seat numbers in the bus cannot be guaranteed.
During our tours, the times announced by our guide to the guests are the departure times, the time the vehicle’s wheels start turning. Our guide, who is responsible for equally protecting the rights of all our guests, will move the vehicle without waiting at the meeting times. In such a case, the late guest will have to reach the next stop by their own means.
The participant agrees in advance to take part in the tours to be arranged and specified in the tour program and not to disrupt the program, and accordingly to pay separately to the tour official during the trip the amount previously announced in the tour program for payments related to expenses such as local guide, museum & archaeological site entrance fees, city taxes, and audio systems with headphones if any. The participant has been fully and completely informed on this matter.
Extra tours are organized by the local agency we work with, with a minimum participation requirement of 20 people. If sufficient numbers are not met, the excursions may not be carried out, or the extra tour prices, content, and vehicle used may vary depending on the number of participants. In addition, the days and times of the tours may be changed by the guide according to the opening/closing status of museums and archaeological sites at the destinations and weather conditions. Different guides may accompany our guests during extra tours.
In our classic packages, where extra tours are not included, extra tours are optional and not mandatory. Passengers who do not wish to participate in the extra tours organized during the tour are deemed to have accepted waiting at a suitable rest facility along the route. These passengers are dropped off at a roadside rest facility before the extra tour begins and picked up from the point where they were dropped off after the tour is completed.
In programs where extra tours are included, payment of museum & archaeological site entrance fees is mandatory.
Lidya Tour is an intermediary agency between the airline and the passenger and is subject to the Hague Protocol dated 28.09.1955. On scheduled and special flights, there may be a risk of delay or the times may change before the current trip and flight. Lidya Tour is obliged to notify these changes as soon as possible. Our passengers have purchased the tour knowing and accepting that flight details may change.
VISA
There is no visa requirement for Turkish Republic citizens. For visa applications, a passport valid for at least 6 months from the end date of travel is sufficient.
The visa information specified in the program is the information applicable to citizens of the Republic of Türkiye. Guests holding a passport other than that of the Republic of Türkiye must obtain visa information from the relevant consulates.
Passport control officers have the authority to deny you entry into the country. Lidya Tour is not responsible for this situation; responsibility belongs to the passenger.
In order to avoid problems with customs police at the border of the country to be visited due to passports that are torn, worn, wet and/or damaged in a similar way; the passports obtained must be renewed and, if the country applies a visa to Turkish Republic citizens, the relevant visa must be in the new passport. Otherwise, responsibility belongs to the passenger.
Since our guests under the age of 18 traveling alone or with only one of their mother or father may be asked by the officer at entry/exit to the country for a document showing the mutual consent of the parents, we recommend that our guests under 18 and their parents be sensitive about this issue.
