Known as the city of El Greco, Toledo has managed to remain unchanged since the 16th century to the present day. Structures bearing traces of Roman, Visigoth, Arab, Gothic, and Renaissance architecture, narrow streets, El Greco’s paintings, typical pastry shops, Damascino stores, and of course its famous cathedral make it a tourist hotspot.
