Istanbul – Crete
Meeting at the Istanbul Airport International Departures Terminal in front of the Aegean Airlines counter 3 hours before departure. After baggage and ticket procedures, departure for Crete at 16.00 on Aegean Airlines’ scheduled flight A3435. Following arrival in Crete at 17.30 local time, our tour of Crete begins with our vehicle waiting for us at the airport. According to legends, Crete, the birthplace of Zeus, bears the traces of many civilizations deep in history. On the historic island, extending from the Minoan civilization to the Ottoman Empire, Plateia Elefterias (Freedom Square), Agios Titos Church, Rasih Bey Mansion, Agios Minas Cathedral, the Ottoman Bon Marche Building, the fountain of the Valide Sultan Mosque, the Evkaf Building, Morosini Fountain, Ottoman Barracks, the Venetian Loggia, the Venetian Port and its shipyards are among the places to be seen. Transfer to your hotel after the city tour. Overnight at the hotel.
Crete
Free time after breakfast at the hotel. Guests who wish may join the Magnificent Towns (Spinalonga & Elounda & Agios Nikolaos) tour, which will be organized as an extra. (90 Euros) The first stop of our tour is Spinalonga. We will reach Spinalonga with a short boat ride from the port town of Plaka, where we will discover the island’s historical structure and see traces of the former colonial period. After enjoying the unique views, our 2nd stop will be the port town of Elounda. Elounda is a coastal town on the island of Crete, known for its luxury resorts, elegant restaurants and beautiful beaches. After the break we will take here, the final stop of our tour will be Agios Nikolaos. Agios Nikolaos, a city located on the eastern coast of the island of Crete, is one of Crete’s popular tourist destinations. Known for its beautiful beaches, historical heritage and surrounding natural beauty, the city takes its name from Saint Nikola', who is regarded as the city’s patron saint. Crete
Free time after breakfast at the hotel. Guests who wish may participate in the Magnificent Villages and Cities (Fodele Village & Rethymno (Resmo) & Chania (Hanya) tour, to be organized as an extra. (90 Euros) Fodele, the birthplace of El Greco, one of Crete's most famous painters, is one of the popular tourist attractions for visitors with its natural beauty, historical and cultural significance. The village is known for its traditional houses featuring typical Cretan architecture, narrow streets and squares. Following our tour, our second stop is Rethymno (Resmo). Rethymno (Resmo), the third-largest city on the island of Crete and one of its important tourist centers, has a rich historical and cultural heritage. The historical texture of Rethymno dates back to the Venetian period, and it is possible to see many architectural works from the Venetian and Ottoman periods in the city. One of the city's most famous landmarks is the Venetian Rethymno Castle. The castle is located by the sea, right next to the city center, and as a historical structure, it is a popular destination for both history enthusiasts and photography lovers. Rethymno's narrow, cobblestone streets, traditional houses and inns in the old town offer a historical atmosphere. Rethymno is also famous for its beautiful beaches. Especially the coastal areas such as Platanias, Bali and Georgioupolis in the south are popular destinations where tourists can enjoy the sea and sun. Following our tour, our final stop is Chania (Hanya). Located in the western part of the island of Crete and one of the island's most important port cities, Chania is famous for both its historical texture and natural beauty. Also known as Hanya, Chania stands out as one of the most beautiful and most visited places in Crete. The Venetian Harbor is one of the city's landmarks and is home to many historical structures. These include the Venetian Lighthouse, the Venetian Archaeological Museum and the Maritime Museum of Crete. It also attracts visitors with its narrow, cobblestone streets and traditional Greek houses. Following the wonderful time we will spend here, transfer to our hotel. Overnight at the hotel.
Crete - Istanbul
Free time after the breakfast to be served at the hotel. Guests who wish may join the Knossos – Archanes Village tour to be organized as an extra. (90 Euros) Knossos is an ancient archaeological site located on the island of Crete and one of the most important centers of the Minoan civilization. During our tour here, we will visit the Palace of Knossos, built in 2000 BC and the capital of the Kingdom of Minos, and then see the palace, which is believed to be a legendary labyrinth and contains many rooms. After our tour, we depart for the village of Archanes, located near Knossos and famous for its traditional stone houses, narrow streets, and olive groves. Following our walking tour here, transfer to the airport. After baggage and ticket procedures, departure for Istanbul Airport at 15.45 on Aegean Airlines’ scheduled flight A3434. Arrival at 17.10 local time and the end of our tour.

- Airline rules apply to group tickets, and under the group ticket rule, if the outbound flight is not used, the return flight cannot be used either.
- For most flights departing from Türkiye, the baggage allowance is 20 kg. This weight may vary depending on the airline and the destination country. On domestic flights in the countries visited, this allowance may decrease to 15 kg. Excess baggage weight and pricing rules are determined by the airlines and are not the responsibility of LİDYA TOUR.
- If the number of participants for the package tour is insufficient, the consumer will be informed of the tour cancellation 20 days in advance.
