Day 1 ISTANBUL - COPENHAGEN (DENMARK)
Meeting in front of the Pegasus Airlines counter at the international departures terminal of Sabiha Gökçen Airport at 06:30. Departure for Copenhagen at 09:35 on Pegasus Airlines flight PC 1071. After arriving at 12:00 local time, we board our waiting bus and set off toward the port. Free time to settle into the cabins after check-in procedures. Our ship will depart from the port at 17:00.
Day 2 WARNEMÜNDE / GERMANY
After breakfast on board, our ship will dock at the port of Warnemünde at 07:00. Guests who wish may join the “Lübeck & Rostock Tour” organized as an optional excursion by our guide. Located at the mouth of the Warnow River, Warnemünde is an attractive German seaside resort renowned for its elegant architecture and beautiful white sandy beach. It is an excellent starting point for visiting historic cities and the cultural capital, Berlin. Berlin is a city of immense cultural, architectural and historical importance that has undergone a significant revival since the fall of the Berlin Wall. You will have the opportunity to see some of the German capital’s most incredible landmarks, including the Baroque-Rococo Charlottenburg Palace from the 17th century, the 19th-century Victory Column and Kaiser Wilhelm Memorial Church, and to explore the area around the Brandenburg Gate, the terrifying “death strip” of Communist times. Then, before touring the Berlin Wall, we visit the Holocaust Memorial and Checkpoint Charlie before returning to the ship. Our ship will depart from the port at 17:00.
Day 3 GDYNIA (GDANSK-DANZIG) / POLAND
Our ship will dock at the port at 10:00. Guests who wish may join the “Gdynia & Gdansk Tour” organized as an optional excursion by our guide. Our journey to the uniquely beautiful city of Gdansk on Poland’s Baltic Sea coast begins. Following our journey, we first head to Westerplatte, where the first bomb was dropped by the Nazis. After our visit here, during our Gdansk city tour, we will see places such as Long Market, the Golden Gate, and the Statue and Fountain of Neptune accompanied by our guide. We will have free time in Gdansk. Later, we continue to the site of the Lech Walesa monument. Lech Wałęsa, who led the workers striving for unity following the workers’ resistance that began in the Gdańsk shipyards in 1970 and ended bloodily, devoted his life to the resistance and never abandoned it despite becoming unemployed many times. Our ship will depart from the port at 19:00.
Day 4 KLAIPEDA / LITHUANIA
Our ship will dock at the port of Klaipeda at 07:00. Guests who wish may join the “Klaipeda Tour” organized as an optional excursion by our guide. Amber, a type of fossilized tree resin, is highly valued as a gemstone because of its soft golden glow, and as the region is known for its Baltic amber extraction industry, this tour includes a visit to the Amber Museum in Palanga and a look at Klaipeda’s old town. Your walk through the old town begins at Theatre Square, where you will see the statue of “Ännchen von Tharau,” erected in memory of a folk song written by Klaipeda-born poet Simon Dach. As you pass the old town’s half-timbered houses, you will also have the chance to browse market stalls selling handicrafts and amber jewelry before continuing to Palanga. You will visit both the Palanga Botanical Gardens, created more than 100 years ago, and the Amber Museum housed in the 19th-century Tiškevičiai Palace. The museum provides information about where “Baltic Gold” can be found, its uses, and its characteristic inclusions—the history captured in resin beads. Our ship will depart from the port at 15:30.
Day 5 RIGA / LATVIA
Our ship will dock at the port of Riga at 07:00. Guests who wish may join the “Riga Tour” organized as an optional excursion by our guide. Riga Castle, dating from the 14th century, St. Jacob’s Church, the House of the Brotherhood of the Blackheads, the large and small Guildhalls famous for their interesting stories, the House of the Cats, the old city walls, the Dome Cathedral, the theatre and Parliament Building, the Freedom Monument, and streets lined with Art Nouveau-style buildings are among the places to be seen. Our ship will depart from the port at 14:30.
Day 6 STOCKHOLM / SWEDEN
Our ship will dock at the port of Stockholm at 08:30 in the morning. Guests who wish may join the “Stockholm City Tour” organized as an optional excursion by our guide. Stockholm is probably one of the most magnificent and beautiful capitals among all the Northern European countries we will visit. Indeed, even the magnificent city of St. Petersburg was built as a counterpart to Stockholm. On our tour, we will take an introductory tour of this city, known as the Venice of the North. The tour begins at Monteliusvägen hill, offering magnificent views from nearly every corner, and includes Fjallgatan, Stadshuset (City Hall), the Royal Palace, and the old harbor. Our tour ends with free time for shopping, after which we return to the ship. Our ship will depart from the port at 17:00.
Day 7 AT SEA
On this day spent sailing at sea, you can spend your time using the ship’s indoor and outdoor pools, enjoying activities such as fitness and sauna, or shopping at the duty-free stores. In addition, you may wish to have fun at the bar accompanied by shows and music and try your luck at the casino.
Day 8 COPENHAGEN - ISTANBUL
Our ship will dock at the port at 09:00 in the morning. After breakfast on board, we disembark. We depart for the airport by our private bus waiting for us at the port. Arrival at Copenhagen Airport, and after baggage and check-in procedures, departure for Istanbul at 15:55 on Pegasus Airlines flight PC 1074. Arrival in Istanbul at 20:10 local time. We look forward to meeting you on another enjoyable trip!
