Thessaloniki – Kavala Tour by Bus
1 Night – 3 Days
Day 1 Istanbul –Keşan - Thessaloniki
On the first day of our tour, departure at 22:00 in front of Kadıköy Marriage Office, 22:30 in front of Mecidiyeköy Auto Inspection, 23:00 in front of Bakırköy Ömür Shopping Center, 23:30 in front of Beylikdüzü Marmara Park, and arrival at İpsala border gate by following the Silivri – Keşan highway. After passport and customs procedures, travel to Thessaloniki by following the Dedeağaç - Gümülcine - İskeçe highway.
Day 2 Thessaloniki
With arrival in Thessaloniki in the morning, a panoramic city tour; the waterfront, White Tower, Rotunda Tower, Fair Square, Ottoman and Byzantine monuments, Aya Dimitros Cathedral, the largest cathedral in Greece, the statue of Alexander the Great, Hamza Bey Mosque, the statues of E. Venezelo - P. Konstantin, and Vardar, Macedonia, Aristotle, and Eleftherios squares are among the places to see. At the end of the tour, we visit the house of the Great Leader Atatürk and transfer to our hotel. Guests who wish may join the extra Thessaloniki Mega Center & Jumbo Store Shopping Tour, which includes famous brands. (20 EUR). In the evening, guests who wish may have the opportunity to join the Greek Tavern Tour, organized as an extra by our guide. Delicious food, endless fun accompanied by Greek music and bouzouki. (65 EUR). (Note: Guests who do not join the Tavern Tour will be charged 15 EUR per person for round-trip Thessaloniki evening transfer.) Overnight at our hotel.
Breakfast: Will be taken as an extra en route. Soup, breakfast plate, börek, and brewed tea options can be considered.
Lunch: Will be taken as an extra during free time in Thessaloniki city center. As the guide recommends, seafood may be preferred at fish restaurants along the waterfront.
Dinner: Guests who wish may join the extra Tavern Tour.

Day 3 Thessaloniki-Kavala – Gümülcine – Dedeağaç – Istanbul
After breakfast at the hotel, depart for Kavala. After approximately a 2–3 hour journey, panoramic city tour in Kavala. After seeing the Aqueducts, Port, Castle, 19th century Neoclassical buildings, Pangia, Old and New City, Acropolis, Lighthouse, Ag. Nicholas, Teodoro Kimissi churches, and the charitable foundation and statue of Mehmet Ali Pasha of Kavala, free time for lunch. After the meeting, the return journey begins. Pass through the cities of İskeçe & Gümülcine & Dedeağaç panoramically and travel to the İpsala border gate. Guests who wish may join the Porto Lagos tour organized as an extra by our guide. (10 EUR / Our tour takes place if all the group participates) After passport and customs procedures, travel to Istanbul by following the Keşan – Tekirdağ – Silivri highway. After a free meatball break in Tekirdağ, the program ends with arrival at the starting points in Istanbul in the evening.
Breakfast: Will be taken at our hotel and is included in the tour price.
Lunch: Will be taken as an extra during free time in Kavala city center. We recommend Greek Salad, Mussels with Rice, Stuffed Squid, Eggplant Saganaki, and Pilaki.
Dinner: Will be taken as an extra at a suitable facility along the way

INFORMATION
During the tour, it is sufficient to have Euros available so that shopping and spending can be made in all countries included in the program. In regions where local currency is used, the Guide will assist with exchanging money.
During the tour, comfortable walking shoes or sneakers should be preferred. It is advisable to bring a cardigan, etc. for the night.
When entering Turkey from abroad, there is a minimum 3-day stay requirement in order to bring in goods (alcohol, cigarettes, etc.).

In the tour program, the Guides may make changes in the flow of the program depending on weather and road conditions, provided that all places specified in the program are shown.
Our tour program is organized with a minimum participation requirement of 25 people. If sufficient participation is not achieved for the trip, the latest cancellation notification date is 20 days before the tour departure. The tour canceled due to insufficient participation will be notified by us.
In cases where only category information is provided in the tour program without specifying a name and/or there are alternative options for the same destination, the hotel(s) will be announced 2 days before the trip departure.
During periods such as fairs, congresses, concerts, events, sports tournaments, etc., hotels may be used at distances greater than those specified in km. In such a case, information will be provided 15 days before the departure date of the tour
3-person rooms may be provided subject to the availability of hotels, and the bed assigned to the 3rd person in such rooms is smaller than standard beds. 3-person rooms consist of 1 large bed + 1 extra bed. Since the extra beds are made up of folding and coach beds, tour participants are deemed to have declared that they accept the possible crampedness in the rooms and the bed type in reservations for the 3rd person and/or children. Child discounts are valid for a single child who stays with 2 adults and falls within the relevant age group.
Breakfasts included in the tour program services are offered at the hotel in accordance with the breakfast culture of the country and generally with a limited menu called continental breakfast, consisting of butter, jam, bread, tea or coffee, and may be served in a separate hall allocated to the group.
The panoramic city tours included in the tour package are tours organized for the general introduction of the cities, lasting at most 2-3 hours, and conducted panoramically from inside the vehicle with guide commentary, without museum or historical site entrance fees. Panoramic tours, including other tours specified in the program, if they cannot take place on the day and time of the tour due to places that are not permitted to be visited or entered by local authorities, or because of closed roads due to any event, or if weather conditions make the tour impossible, Lidya Tour is not responsible for the inability to carry out the aforementioned tours. Some tours may be conducted by public transportation or on foot where possible, in cases of closed roads or points where vehicle entry is not permitted.
At border gates crossed by road during the journey, waiting times may exceed standards, and Lidya Tour cannot be held responsible for any negative consequences arising from these waiting times.
Extra tours are organized with a minimum participation requirement of 20 people. If the required number is not achieved, the excursions cannot be carried out, or extra excursion prices, content, and the vehicle to be used may vary according to the number of participants. In addition, the days and times of the tours may be changed by the guide depending on whether the museums and historical sites at the destinations are open/closed and on weather conditions.
Extra tours are optional and not mandatory for participants. Passengers who do not wish to join the extra tours organized during the tour are deemed to have accepted waiting at a suitable rest facility along the route. These passengers are dropped off at a roadside rest facility before the extra tour begins and are picked up from the point where they were dropped off after the tour is completed.
For those participating in tours with flights, the required check-in and boarding procedures are personal procedures and must be completed by the guest before the flight at the relevant airline counters at the airports or online on the airlines' websites.
Lidya Tour is not responsible for the inability of persons who are not present at the specified airport at the announced times for participation in the tour, who do not complete check-in and boarding on time, or who complete check-in and boarding on time but do not board the plane, to take the flight. The new round-trip airline tickets required for persons who miss the plane in order to join the tour, as well as all expenses related to their transfers in the destination region, are their own responsibility.
On scheduled and special flights, there may be a risk of delay, or the times may change before the current trip and flight. Lidya Tour is obliged to notify these changes as soon as possible. The passenger has purchased the trip accepting the risk of schedule changes. Children aged 0-2 do not pay airport tax and airport service fees.
