Our tour program is organized with a minimum participation of 40 people. If sufficient participation is not achieved for the trip, the final cancellation notification date by the agency is 21 days before the tour departure. The tour canceled due to insufficient participation will be communicated to you through your agency.
When only category information is provided without specifying a name in the tour program and/or there are alternatives for the same destination, the hotel(s) will be announced by your agency 48 hours before the tour departure.
During periods such as fairs, congresses, concerts, events, sports tournaments, etc., hotels may be used at a greater distance than the specified km or in a different city. In such a case, you will be informed by your agency 48 hours before the tour departure.
Panoramic city tours included in the tour package are tours organized for the general introduction of the cities, lasting at most 2-3 hours, and conducted panoramically with narration from the vehicle only, without museum or archaeological site entries. Including panoramic tours and other tours specified in the program, if the tour cannot be carried out due to places that are not permitted to be visited or entered by local authorities on the relevant day and time, or due to closed roads because of any event, or if it becomes impossible to hold the tour due to weather conditions, Lidya Tour is not responsible for the inability to carry out the said tours. Some tours may be carried out by public transportation or on foot, where possible, in locations with closed roads or where vehicle access is not permitted.
3-person rooms may be provided depending on hotel availability, and the bed assigned to the 3rd person in such rooms is smaller than standard beds. 3-person rooms consist of 1 large bed + 1 extra bed. Since the extra beds are folding or coach beds, the tour participant is deemed to have declared that they accept the possible crowding in the rooms and the bed type in 3rd person and/or child reservations. Child discounts apply only to a single child staying with 2 adults and matching the relevant age group. No bed guarantee is given in hotels for children aged 0-2.
Breakfasts included among the services in the tour program are served in accordance with the breakfast culture of the country visited, generally with a limited menu called continental breakfast, consisting of butter, jam, bread, tea or coffee, and may be served in a separate hall allocated to the group for groups.
Tour flights are group tickets, so flight times may change. You can confirm the current flight details with your agency. The current times will be communicated by your agency with the tour information.
Tour flight times must be confirmed before purchasing a domestic flight. If the guest purchased the domestic connecting flight from a different provider independent of the agency, they cannot request any refund from the agency in case the trip is canceled by the agency or if there is a schedule change. The guest accepts in advance any financial and moral losses that may arise due to the cancellation or change of the tour when purchasing the tour. Lidya Tour cannot be held responsible for this situation.
According to airline rules; if the outbound flight of round-trip tickets is not used, the return flight is canceled by the airline.
Our guests who join the tour without a flight must be present at the tour starting point on their own without any delay. Otherwise, they will have to arrange all their transfers on their own.
Lidya Tour is not responsible if guests who do not arrive at the specified airport at the notified times in accordance with airline rules for participation in the tour, who do not complete check-in and boarding on time, or who complete check-in and boarding on time but cannot board the plane, are unable to complete the flight. All expenses related to obtaining new round-trip plane tickets necessary for guests who miss the plane to join the tour and transfers in the destination region, etc., are their own responsibility.
The personal belongings, bags, suitcases, passports/IDs of the participants are under their own responsibility, and Lidya Tour is not responsible for forgotten/lost/stolen items. In cases where forgotten items are found, there is no obligation to deliver them to the country and/or the person, and the costs incurred during delivery belong to the owner of the item.
In cases such as illness, loss, or theft, the guide cannot accompany guests one-to-one in such negative situations, as the integrity and continuity of the group are essential for the guide.
During the purchase of the tour, it is mandatory to provide the name on the passport, date of birth, and passport number correctly. Flight tickets are issued according to this information. Penalty fees for ticket cancellations and changes arising from incorrect information will be collected from you.
In some airlines, food and beverage services and online check-in services may be subject to a fee.
During the tour, seat numbers cannot be guaranteed when using the bus.
During our tours, the times announced by our guide to the guests are the departure times, the time the vehicle wheels start turning. Our guide, who is responsible for equally respecting the rights of all our guests, will set the vehicle in motion at the meeting times without waiting. In the event of a delay, our guest must make their own way to the next stop.
Extra tours are organized by the local agency from which we receive service, with a minimum participation requirement of 20 people. If the sufficient number is not met, the excursions cannot be carried out, or extra excursion prices, content, and the vehicle to be used may vary according to the number of participants. In addition, the days and times of the tours may be changed by the guide according to whether the museums and archaeological sites at the destination are open or closed and according to weather conditions. A different guide may accompany our guests during extra tours.
In our classic packages where extra tours are not included, extra tours are optional and not mandatory. Passengers who do not wish to participate in the extra tours organized during the tour are deemed to have accepted waiting at a suitable rest facility along the way. These passengers are dropped off at a rest facility on the route before the extra tour begins and picked up from the point where they were dropped off after the tour is completed.
The participant hereby accepts in advance that they will participate in the tours to be organized as stated in the tour program, will not disrupt the program, and accordingly will additionally pay the amount previously notified in the tour program for expenses such as local guide, museum & archaeological site entrance fees, city taxes, and audio system if any, to the tour official during the trip. The participant has been fully and completely informed about this matter.
In programs where extra tours are included, payment of museum & archaeological site entrance fees to your agency at the time of reservation or to the guide during the tour is mandatory.
Lidya Tour is an intermediary institution between the airline and the passenger and is subject to the Hague Protocol of 28.09.1955. There may be a risk of delay in scheduled and charter flights, or times may change before the current trip and flight. Lidya Tour is obliged to notify these changes as soon as possible. Our passengers have purchased the tour knowing and accepting that flight details may change.
VISA
There is a visa requirement for T.C. citizens. For visa applications, it is necessary to apply through our agency with a passport valid for at least 6 months from the end date of travel and the documents specified in the “Documents Required for Visa” list.
The visa must be obtained from the first country of entry on the trip or from the country where the longest stay will be made.
There is no visa requirement for holders of green passports, and a passport valid for at least 6 months from the end date of travel is sufficient.
The visa information stated in the program is the information applicable to citizens of the Republic of Turkey. Guests holding a passport other than that of the Republic of Turkey must obtain their visa information from the relevant consulates.
Being granted a visa does not mean that entry to the country will be allowed; the passport police have the authority to deny you entry. Lidya Tour is not responsible for this situation; responsibility belongs to the passenger.
In order to avoid problems with customs police at the border gate of the country to be visited due to passports that are torn, worn, wet and/or damaged in similar ways; the passports must be renewed, and if the country applies a visa to T.C. citizens, the relevant visa must be in the new passport. Otherwise, responsibility belongs to the passenger.
Since there is a possibility that our guests under 18 traveling alone or with only one of their mother or father may be asked by the police officer on duty at the country entry-exit points to present a document showing the mutual consent of the parents, we recommend that our guests under 18 and their parents pay attention to this matter.
