We begin our tour in the morning at 08:00 by meeting our guide at the Istanbul New Airport International Terminal. After our ticketing and baggage procedures, we take our scheduled KM Malta Airlines flight KM785 at 10:35 for our Istanbul–Malta flight. Following our arrival in Malta at 12:15 local time, we will take our panoramic tour of the Three Cities. Sit back and discover with us the cities of Vittoriosa, Cospicua, and Senglea, also known as Cottonera, built and supported by the Knights of Malta. After our bus tour in Cospicua, we will walk through the narrow streets of the mystical and mysterious city of Vittorosa, seeing its historic churches and palaces. Finally, Senglea, with its magnificent harbor view and the watchtower located in the center of the Grand Harbor, will be waiting for us. Transfer to our hotel at the end of the tour. Overnight at our hotel.
Malta (Dingli Cliffs & Rabat & Mdina & Mosta)
After the breakfast we will have at our hotel, the whole day is free at leisure. Guests who wish may join our tour of Dingli Cliifs & Rabat & Mdina & Mosta (60 Euro), organized as an extra by our guide. Our first stop is Dingli Cliffs. Located approximately 253 meters above sea level, Dingli Cliffs represent the highest point of the Maltese islands and offer a magnificent view with truly breathtaking scenery. After leaving here, we will go to Rabat, with its historic narrow streets dating back to the time it was colonized in 700 B.C. and surrounding Mdina. After seeing Rabat, we will continue on foot to visit Mdina, Malta’s former capital and the natural set where many scenes of the famous series Game of Thrones were filmed. As we walk through the narrow streets of this medieval city, known as the Silent City, we will see the magnificent St. Paul’s Cathedral, Falson Mansion built by the Falson family, one of Malta’s noble families from the 13th century, the Carmelite Convent built in the Baroque style in the 17th century, Vilhena Palace, and the old houses of Mdina. Our next stop after the free time we will have here is Mosta. On this tour, we visit the Basilica of Santa Maria Assunta, which has the third largest dome in Europe. The outer diameter of its dome is 56.2 meters, and the interior paintings of this massive basilica were made especially by painter Giuseppe Cali. We will see the replica of the 200 kg bomb that was dropped by German Nazi planes during World War II in 1942, pierced the dome, and became lodged in the church floor without exploding, and we will receive information about the church’s interior and exterior architecture. After the tour, we return to our hotel. Accommodation at our hotel.
Malta – Gozo Island
After breakfast at our hotel, the whole day is free. Our guests who wish may join our Gozo Island Tour, organized as an extra by our guide (80 Euro). We head toward Cirkewwa port to cross to Gozo Island, and then take the ferry from the port to Gozo. Compared with Malta, Gozo Island is lush and green, a place where life has come to a standstill. First, we see Xlendi. Here we take a morning walk among the cliffs. Then we visit the T'pino Church, which was once a small chapel in ancient times but today is a very large votive church. Gozo Island is an area where famous films such as Gladiator, Game of Thrones, and Troy were shot. Afterwards, we will see the Dweyra area, one of the natural film studios where the Game of Thrones series was filmed. We go to Victoria Rabat for free time. At the end of our tour, we return to Malta and head back to our hotels. Accommodation is at our hotel.
Malta - Sliema & Turkish Martyrs’ Cemetery & Valletta
After having breakfast at our hotel, we will have free time. Guests who wish may join the Sliema, Turkish Cemetery, and capital Valletta tour, organized as an extra by our guide. (45 €) In Sliema, also known as the face of New Malta, you can take a stroll along the promenade and visit shopping stores. With its lively atmosphere, Sliema also has many restaurants and cafes. After our Sliema tour, we continue with the Turkish Cemetery. Built in Malta in the 19th century, the Turkish Cemetery stands out among the cemeteries Turkey has outside of Anatolian lands with its magnificent architecture. We will carry out our Valletta city tour. Valetta was selected as the European Capital of Culture for 2018 by the Council of Ministers of the European Union. During our tour, we will have the opportunity to see the magnificent walled city of Valetta from the outside. After the bus tour, we will explore the city by walking through the lively streets of Valletta with our guide. Our first stop will be the Barracca Gardens, built on the upper part of the defensive walls surrounding this magnificent city. These gardens, built by the Knights of St. John, also have a magnificent view of the Grand Harbor and the 3 old walled cities. After the break we will have in Valletta, we return to our hotel.
Malta - Istanbul | Popeye’s Village & Marsaxlokk
After having breakfast at our hotel, we will have free time. Guests who wish may join the Popeye Village and the fishing village of Marsaxlokk Tour, organized as an extra by our guide. (60 €) We arrive at Popeye Village, where the movie Popeye was filmed in 1980. Here we both tour the village and watch the performances of Popeye, Olive Oyl, and Bluto. After Popeye Village, we will continue our tour by visiting the fishing village called “Marsaxlokk.” You should not miss the view of the small, charming fishing boats called luzzo, which feature Malta’s unique colors and design. At the same time, in this charming fishing village where an open market is set up, guests who wish can taste fresh fish and seafood during their free time. Transfer to the airport after the tour. After ticketing and baggage procedures, departure for Istanbul at 17:10 with KM Malta Airlines scheduled flight KM784. Arrival in Istanbul at 21:45 local time and the end of our tour.

Our tour program is organized with a minimum participation of 40 people. If sufficient participation is not achieved for the trip, the final cancellation notice date is 20 days before the tour departure. The tour canceled due to insufficient participation will be communicated to you through your agency.
In cases where only category information is provided in the tour program without specifying a name, and/or where there are options for the same destination, the hotel(s) will be notified by your agency 48 hours before the tour departure.
During fairs, congresses, concerts, events, sports tournaments, etc., hotels may be used at distances greater than the specified kilometers. In such a case, you will be informed by your agency 15 days before the tour departure date.
Triple rooms are provided subject to hotel availability, and the bed assigned to the 3rd person in such rooms is smaller than standard beds. Triple rooms consist of 1 large bed + 1 extra bed. Since extra beds are folding and/or coach beds, participants of the tour are deemed to have accepted the possible cramped conditions in the rooms and the bed type for 3rd person and/or child reservations. Child discounts apply only to one child staying with 2 adults and matching the relevant age group.
Breakfasts included among the services in the tour program are offered at the hotel in accordance with the breakfast culture of the country visited and are generally served as a limited menu, called continental breakfast, consisting of butter, jam, bread, tea or coffee, and for groups may be served in a separate hall allocated to the group.
Panoramic city tours included in the tour package are tours organized for the general introduction of cities, lasting at most 2-3 hours, conducted panoramically with guide commentary from inside the vehicle and not including museum or archaeological site entrances. Panoramic tours, including other tours specified in the program, if they do not take place because local authorities do not permit visits or entry on the day and time corresponding to the tour, or due to closed roads because of any event, or when the tour becomes impossible due to weather conditions, Lidya Tour is not responsible for the inability to carry out the said tours. Some tours may be conducted by public transportation or on foot where roads are closed or vehicle access is not permitted, insofar as possible.
Extra tours are organized by the local agency from which we receive service, with a minimum participation requirement of 20 people. If the required number is not met, the excursions may not be carried out, or the extra excursion prices, content, and vehicle used may vary depending on the number of participants. In addition, the days and times of the tours may be changed by the guide according to the opening/closing status of the museums and archaeological sites in the destinations and weather conditions.
Participation in extra tours is optional and not mandatory. Passengers who do not wish to join extra tours organized during the tour are deemed to have accepted waiting at a suitable rest facility along the route. These passengers are dropped off at a roadside rest facility before the extra tour begins and are picked up from the same point after the tour is completed.

In our promotional and early booking campaign tours, no cancellation or change can be made by the guest.
Lidya Tour is an intermediary institution between the airline and the passenger and is subject to the 28.09.1955 Hague Protocol. There may be a risk of delays on scheduled and special flights, or times may change before the current trip and flight. Lidya Tour is obligated to inform these changes as soon as possible. Our passengers have purchased the tour knowing and accepting that flight details may change. Children aged 0-2 do not pay airport tax or airport service fees.
VISA
There is a visa application for Turkish Republic citizens. For the visa application, it is necessary to apply through our agency with a passport valid for at least 6 months from the end date of travel and the documents listed in the “Documents Required for Visa” list.
Our guests traveling with a Turkish Republic green passport are required to renew their passports if the passport was issued more than 10 years ago; otherwise, they may not be accepted into the destination country and/or the airline may not operate their flight. In such a case, responsibility belongs to the passenger.
For green passport holders, there is no visa application, and a passport valid for at least 6 months from the end date of travel is sufficient.
Having obtained a visa does not mean entry into the country is guaranteed; the passport police have the authority to refuse you entry. Lidya Tour is not responsible for this situation; responsibility belongs to the passenger.
In order to avoid problems with customs police at the border crossing of the country to be visited due to torn, worn, wet and/or similarly damaged passports, such passports must be renewed, and if the country applies visas to Turkish Republic citizens, the relevant visa must be in the new passport. Otherwise, responsibility belongs to the passenger.
Since our guests under 18 traveling alone or with only one parent may be asked by the police officer at the country entry/exit points for a document showing the mutual consent of both parents, we recommend that our guests under 18 and their parents be sensitive about this issue.
